Started my order and went in, and when I asked for the name and code on my order, I was told "i don't know" and "I don't see it." Calmly walked out. Won't be back soon. I needed a quick meal while traveling, and stopped here to get something. The drive thru line moved quickly as well as good customer service. They repeated my order to make sure everything was correct and also provided me with my receipt. The fries were very hot and fresh. I was surprised to see that I had to pay for a sauce which was very unusual for McDonald's. It was an actual extra sauce charge on the screen, this I had never seen before. Worst McDonald's ever. First...the inside is closed at 8am...which I've never seen in my life ever. Second, we sat in the drive thru for 15 minutes before being helped. 15 minutes! I ordered delivery from this McDonald's, so I can't speak to the issues other reviewers mentioned with the service inside. However, I can say that the no-contact delivery service was great! I got my food within 20 minutes, without having to come into close contact with a potentially unmasked stranger. Personally, I'm not a fan of McDonald's regular menu, but I love their breakfast food. This morning, I got a sausage egg McMuffin meal. The muffin and hash brown arrived hot and fresh despite the cold weather, and neither item was overly greasy. Finally, I appreciated that the order was delivered in a paper bag instead of a plastic one. This is much more sustainable, and has the added benefit of distracting my cat so I can eat breakfast in peace. read more

I HATE McDonald's but when it is midnight and you have a friend in the hospital requesting food, you get low on options. When I arrived at this location there was a long line but I decided to wait. I sat on my phone and after a while about two cars got out of line which I thought was exciting, the line moved a bit. I got back on my phone and proceeded to wait . She asked "is anyone there" thats when some guy started yelling about "its only 2 of us" " be patient", the customer must have had some aggressive words because his next responses were "ugly bitch" "yo mama" "l make 15$ an hour". Rhe customer pulled off without service amd it still took another 7 mins for him to take the next order. Obviously this beyond rude and unprofessional of his character and the fact that McDonald's only had two people working at rush hour in the morning. I have visited this McDonald's at least once a week for the past year. In almost every situation, we have had a fantastic experience. Tonight, I took my young son through the drive-thru for a quick Happy Meal. Normally, we go inside and order from the kiosk or I use the mobile app with ZERO issues. Tonight I was faced with a woman who seemed to make it her primary mission to make my visit unpleasant. If I order through the kiosk or app, extra condiments are free. This woman, only identified as "Manager Lisa" (when asked for her last name, she actually told me "Lisa Lisa") arbitrarily decided that I needed to pay $0.50 for extra nugget sauce. She explained that if I use the kiosk or app, condiments are free, however, if I order from an actual human, I must pay some sort of "convenience tax." This is the first time this has happened in at least a year. Most McD's employees are happy to put an extra sauce or two in a bag of nuggets. Now. McDonalds, let me ask you... You sell a cheeseburger for ONE DOLLAR, yet you expect patrons to pay $0.50 for a tiny 1.5oz cup of nugget sauce? That speaks volumes about the quality of your beef, cheese, buns, and condiments that go on the $1 burger. I must say that I am VERY disappointed in the service given by "Manager Lisa" in the drive-thru tonight and I will, in the future, drive an extra few miles to another McDonald's to get the service McDonald's is supposed to be so famous for. read more

Went to the drive thru at 12:19pm. I ordered a nugget meal. I waited. There were only 2 cars ahead of me but I waited probably 5 minutes or longer to get to the window where they were confused about who I was and why I was there! Got my order and parked to eat my food. The nuggets seemed really old: dry and cold. Fries were soggy and cold. (At lunchtime nothing was even remotely warm? What are yall doing in there?) The drink was the wrong drink. I went in to get the right one. No one greeted me. No one asked if I needed help. No one apologized. The restaurant was FILTHY. The uniforms everyone was wearing were disgusting, including the manager's, who was rude. I waited another 5 minutes in the store while my already cold food got worse. Disgusted. Never returning. Threw most of the nuggets into a garbage can in the parking lot with the lid hanging off and no bag in it. This store is a blight on Green Springs. McDonald's sucks now and I hate I wasted $9 on garbage food and jerks. Something is so wrong here, after today I would not return after seeing how things are going on the inside: DIRTY! My experience was wonderful on New Year's day. The manager who is working here this evening took the peoples order in front of me and my order all while taking orders from the drive thru as well. She got our food out quickly and kept everything moving right a long. It looked like a one woman show and she was incredible! Place is sorry as hell I've worked construction out here for months now I tried to go here to get me a biscuit and a sweet tea on multiple occasions and at the hours varying from 6:30-7:30 they're not open even though everything on the signs say they open at 5:00 am and the workers inside won't even think about coming over the PA system and telling the long line of hungry customers that they aren't open and that they will all just have to starve. Place needs to be shut down. They're not worth my finger swiping a star so with that being said they don't get any stars, ok they get 1 because yelp seems that everyone should be a winner and it's not fair for someone to get no stars. If anything, McDonald's generally excels at providing a since of familiarity, and a general efficiency that may be lacking at other fast-food restaurants. On this visit, a friend and I took advantage of the two for five-dollar deal and got the Big Mac and the ten-piece chicken McNuggets, along with two McDoubles, and some French fries. There are healthier options, of course, but this visit was not health focused. The trip through the drive-thru took less than two minutes, and the food was still warm after driving away from the restaurant. The Big Mac was consistent with my expectations of what a Big Mac should be, as were the McNuggets, the McDoubles, and the French fries. None of this is the best food that I have eaten, but it is consistent. For its consistency, McDonald's should be given its due. The employees were nice, and the service was typical for McDonald's. Employees were wearing masks in the drive-thru, so that was certainly nice to see at this point in time. The sustainability was fine with what we ordered, insofar as the bag was made of paper, the wrappers and boxes for the food were paper, and I do not think there was plastic in this order. Hopefully, there was no plastic coating or anything like that, and the waste was truly all biodegradable. If so, this is a fantastic thing. However, I do know that some of the drink cups are still plastic, or at least were in the recent past. In summary, McDonald's is a consistent and ever-present face of the American food landscape. For this consistent ubiquity, I tend to enjoy the familiarity that the establishment offers. I know that the food is not always the healthiest, but there are healthy options. The service is not the greatest in the restaurant industry, but it is usually good, and that is the expectation. For these points, I will be giving McDonald's three out of five stars, as I feel it is the baseline for a restaurant experience. There are certainly better restaurants and there are certainly worse ones. McDonald's wins its place as the prototypical drive-thru experience in my book through its familiarity, presence, and consistency. read more

I live nearby, so I have convinced myself to go to this disaster multiple times. The workers are clearly pissed off, and it shows in their treatment of customers. Short, terse, unhappy to take an order. The food is routinely wrong. If the food isn't wrong, then its poorly made. Burnt bread, under and overcooked ham, wrong cheese, undercooked hashbrowns, etc., etc. Its astounding how consistently this McDonalds gets it wrong. I'd venture to say that only a fourth of my orders are correctly done. My order this morning took 45 minutes (why did I not just leave!?), the bread is burnt, the cheese is wrong, and the hashbrowns are soggy. Do not come here. Just go around the corner to one of the best Hardee's in the city. If management is reading this, then I implore them to go visit and take notes. read more
