This was a good average burger and fries. I wouldn't rush to come back but it was good enough that I don't feel like it was a wasted $13 lol. Burger was cooked nicely and frozen fries were seasoned. Food was ready fairly quickly and service was ok!

Very solid burger option if you're in the Greensprings/Homewood area and looking for a good one. Burger places seem to be everywhere, but really good burger places are actually few and far between. This is a really good one so take note of that. It's part of a newly refreshed area known as The Edge. An assortment of local businesses centered around a common area with a communal feel to the whole place. Several dining/drinking options, some outdoor seating, and a generally tidy area where you can kick back and spend some time enjoying the vibes. Definitely check it out. For the burger you walk up and order/pay at the window and they'll call your name when it's ready. It's reasonably priced, good sized, and cooked up quite nicely. I had a double bacon cheeseburger with tots and it came out quick and tasted delicious. Overall a solid burger in a cool area with other things around to do and see. Worth visiting, worth supporting. Good service, good food, good vibes. What else is there?

Was told this spot had some of the most tastiest burgers Bham has to offer and they did not disappoint they're located in the Edge outdoor food hall so parking was no issue at all not many people were out so there was no line no wait I walked to the window to check out the menu but was never greeted by the young lady that waited on me once I said hello she became friendly but she basically just stared at me until I figured out what I wanted I didn't let that stop anything my order was to go & I got the bacon double cheeseburger and added fries the burger was fresh juicy dressed & cooked to perfection the fries were hot and crispy everything is a la carte and I didn't purchase a beverage prices are still reasonable considering I will definitely be back

Was in the area and thought I would try this place out. Was in the area before, while ordering at another vendor, and was greeted by an employee here, when I wasn't ordering. Made me want to try their food when I was back in the area. Still have to try a burger but wanted a dog today. Yummy yum yum. The Birmingham dog was very meaty with meaty sauce. The server was very nice and gave the store front a good atmosphere.

Bham Burger is located inside the Edge in Homewood. I stopped by one afternoon for a late lunch and was able to walk up and order with ease. The staff was friendly and made my order pretty quickly. My bacon cheeseburger was hot and juicy, totally enjoyed it! The bun was soft and the burger patties actually had flavor. The tots were hot and crispy too. There was plenty of seating outside, making it a nice place to work remotely or catch up with friends. There were families around with their kids and I saw a stage area with a screen; seems like the Edge is going to bring more fun to the area.

Pretty decent regular smashburger with a hearty portion of tots. Exactly what I was expecting and hoping for - no more, no less. Burger was juicy with lettuce and tomato, cheese, and some type of sauce. The buttery bun was fluffy and not just a generic, stale piece of white bread. Tots were crispy and not overdone, and I was happy they gave a good portion. With a drink, it turned out to be $15 something, about what I had guessed in my mind, so I was good with that.

Fresh, handmade and not overly greasy. The sauce was not too overwhelming and paired well. This was easy to digest and honestly I could have sat there and ate two. I really wish they had fries to pair with it. Chips only. For 3 sandwiches and 2 small drinks, our total was $25.08 with $1 tip. Fast service! My burger was made before I paid with the person at the counter as she was trying to get a togo order together. Parking is overall fairly easy. This is a good solid choice for lunch/ dinner. Restaurant was clean and spacious. The layout of the tables were interesting but overall I liked the style.

We then looked for another place and finally found this place. Sometimes things just work out for what's best. The smell of good burgers were smelt before we opened the door. The smell matched the flavor and taste of each bite. My daughter and I both ordered the cheese but I ordered the slaw dog as well for later. We added the sweet tea and everything was pleasing to the tastebuds. The cooks and checkout clerks were friendly held welcoming conversations. When over this way I plan on returning. Again, everything was really good.

Located across from Planet Fitness and beside Davenport's Pizza, they share a fun common area with Taco Mama and Paneras. There's plenty of tables outside with artificial tuff and kids toys for entertainment. There's also comfortable indoor seating if you want to keep away from the outside heat or cold. The tables are bare so you have to head to the cleanup kiosk by the entrance to get your napkins, cutlery, cups of ketchup and packets of mustard. In another corner is a large upright cooler that houses the bottled water and canned drinks. Finally there's a large counter to place and pick up your order with a large viewable kitchen directly behind. The Standard is owned by a Korean couple, Young Shin and Kookie Kim. This the second Standard with the first being in the Pizitz Food Hall downtown across from the McWane Center. They make their beef fresh from scratch every morning and want to be "honest" with their food. Being newly open, the dining room is immaculate. There are not many decorations on the walls as two walls of their dining room are clear glass which makes the dining room look much bigger and brighter. Their menu is the definition of simplicity. 3 categories: Under Burger & Sandwiches they have: Cheeseburger, Black Bean Veggie Burger, Double Bacon Cheeseburger, Patty Melt, Fried Bologna, Pilly Cheesesteak & Chicken sandwich. Under Hot Dogs: Birmingham Dog, Grilled Cheese & Plain Dog. Under Add-Ons: Fried Egg, Bacon, Smashed Avocado, Pickled Jalapenos, Grilled Onions, Sauerkraut, etc. Paul and Linh both got a Cheeseburger. It looks Yuge and must've been good because they both finished it. Matthew got the Patty melt. It was also big with 2 burger patties mashed together between 2 buttered slices of bread, pimento cheese and onions. Tammy tried the Philly cheesesteak. The slices of meat were smoothered with white american cheese, grilled onions and drizzled with garlic aoli. It was pretty good. I tried their Chicken sandwich. My piece of chicken was Yuge! It was nicely breaded and fried. It's nice when the chicken is larger than the buns which were buttered and lightly toasted. With the mayo and pickles, it was one of the better chicken sandwiches I've eaten. Finally we all shared a large order of their tater tots. I love tater tots and these were hot out of the fryer Yom Yom good! A prickly afterthought was the fact they add a 3.5% non-cash fee. So if you're paying with anything other than cash, you will be billed an additional 3.5%. So for my total of $34.50, my fee was $1.21. No big deal. So if you're planning a date night, stop by The Standard for a quick bite then walk ove to the AMC for a nice movie. Welcome to Vestavia, Standard.
