I've been passing this restaurant for over a decade and always think to myself. I'd like to try it. So on a Sunday afternoon , my son and I decided to give it a whirl. Because this is in the same parking lot as first watch, which is a breakfast/lunch restaurant the parking lot was pretty packed. We got there around 12 and luckily he was able to find a parking spot. As soon as we walked in, we could tell it was pretty busy in there. I saw a couple getting up from a table and immediately went over and sat at the table. It is table service, but you do have to order at the counter. They have a pretty good variety of burgers, chicken sandwiches, and salads. Unfortunately, due to an outbreak for lettuce that is getting people sick I decided against getting a salad. I just got a regular cheeseburger and it was delicious. My son also got a buffalo chicken sandwich which I must say was a very good size sandwich and a burger with tater tots. I got the french fries and they were very good. I will definitely be back here. Baja Burger may want to gather the staff together and have a difficult conversation about the word "burger" being in the restaurant name. Because when I walked in and asked the very nice guy at the register what their best item was, he didn't hesitate for even half a second. "Fried chicken club sandwich. Hands down." Not "one of our burgers." Not "depends what you like." Nope. Immediate confidence. The kind of confidence that makes you trust a stranger with your financial future. So naturally I ordered exactly that. He even doubled down and told me it was the best sandwich he's ever had. Ever. That's a dangerous level of hype to put on a chicken sandwich. At that point I wasn't ordering lunch anymore. I was preparing for a spiritual experience. I got the sweet potato fries on the side and sat there waiting like a kid staring at the oven on Christmas morning. Then the sandwich arrived. And honestly? Visually, this thing deserved its own entrance music. Beautiful sandwich. Crispy golden chicken, stacked perfectly, looked like it had been assembled by a food stylist with relationship issues. I took the first bite and immediately realized what was wrong. Flavor had called in sick. The chicken itself was cooked perfectly. Great crunch. Juicy inside. Beautiful breading. But somehow nobody introduced it to salt, pepper, seasoning, spices, or joy. It tasted like the kitchen spent all their energy making it look incredible and forgot the whole "taste" portion of the assignment. My colleague ordered the exact same thing and had the exact same reaction, which honestly made me feel better because for a second I thought COVID had made a surprise comeback. The sandwich was one shake of Cajun seasoning away from greatness. The sweet potato fries were solid flavor-wise, but a little limp. Not tragic. Just lacking that crispness that makes you keep stealing fries after you're already full. This place feels like a really good concept that just needs somebody in the kitchen to become emotionally invested in seasoning. Three stars feels fair. Nothing was bad. Nothing offended me. It was just aggressively average after being introduced with Super Bowl-level hype. I'd come back, but next time I'm ordering an actual burger at the place called Baja Burger. The food is delicious. I can't believe I've lived here all this time and never been. After talking with the super helpful person at the front counter who gave me some great suggestions, I opted for the club. It was delicious and not very greasy which I appreciated. I did not get mayonnaise, but substituted for the tomato chutney and it was a hit for sure! The only problem was that it was supposed to come on sourdough bread; however, mine came on a toasted bun that was just flipped upside down to appear that it was sourdough. If they just would have told me they were out of sourdough bread, it would have been fine, but it was a little bit off-putting that they did not tell me up front and tried to masquerade the bun as sourdough bread. Overall, it really wasn't a big deal, though. You must try both the onion rings and the sweet potato fries. They each come with their particular sauce and it was a perfect combination to the savoriness of the club sandwich. I think the prices were reasonable too. And I'll be sure to join again for lunch. Baha Burger sandwich's are really good. Today my husband tried the Swiss Bacon burger , he said it was good and he'll be ordering it from now on. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich, it was very good. The flavor was on point and I just love their buffalo sauce. I will say, personally I prefer my chicken to be a thinner cut for my chicken sandwiches. I visited this establishment for the first time this week. Wanted a burger and I decided to try the turkey burger. The burger has a blue cheese and chutney flavor sauce and the bun is soft and delicious. I typically don't prefer blue cheese on anything, but I wanted to try this burger all the way. The burger was thick and the sauce with the blue cheese. It's really what stood out. Not a whole Lotta flavor in a turkey burger that have lots of flavors added. But that's OK. The staff was really nice. The food came out hot. I ordered onion rings and okra. Perfect. The orders were huge. Enough for two or three people to eat on for this entire meal. If you're not going to put any effort into a menu item then I wouldn't bother putting it on the menu. It tasted like nothing, no seasoning, no marinade. Just thin and dry. Also, they need to clean better. Fingerprints all over all the glass, bathrooms are dirty and the intake vent was completely covered in dust and dirt. Makes you worry about the kitchen being clean. We got burgers and a club chicken sandwich all with some type of potato fried goodness. The burgers are so big that is basically all you need. The guy working the front counter was great help he was really good at talking up everything on the menu. If you owe this place he deserves a raise (it was 4/16/26 around 1400) it was basically a fast food vibe with a waiter serve. Lamb burger and 1/2&1/2 tots+sweet potato fries with the craziest storm brewing outside? That's my Friday before the gym. This place gets pretty packed on Friday evening. It was filled up 5 minutes or so after I took this photo. The staff and management are great here. They are friendly and work rather quickly. My lamb burger was juicy with the perfect classic blend of toppings (grilled onions, roasted red peppers, feta, tomato, lettuce). Fries and tots were crisp. Forgot how much I used to like Baha Burger. Will have to add back in to my places to go when I'm hungry and don't feel like cooking. read more

Enough options to have variety of burgers and fish sandwiches, all of which went over well. Tater tots and sweet potato fries were both cooked to perfection and I might stop in for those fries again if I'm in the area. A solid gluten free bun exists and they were good about understanding cross-contamination. We were still on Atlanta time, so we were there at 11:30am which was good as they got busy on our way out in a fairly small, no frills, very tasty strip mall type location. We had the fish basket and the fish sandwich. The sandwich is by far our favorite. The fish is fresh tasting, hot, and flakey. The fillet was a generous size and seasoned well. This is the best burger and sandwich joint. I LOVE their burgers but I can't help but get the number one Crispy Chicken Club. It is massive and truly is one of the most feeling, delicious sandwiches I can find in the area. My partner and I are now regulars at this place and try to go when we can (I crave it all the time lol) and I have tried several items on the menu. I am never disappointed!!!! The service is also great as the staff has always been so friendly. The manager walks around often and checks on all the guests and he's always so kind. I look forward to every time I visit. I also appreciate that their fountain unit is very well maintained and clean, and they change their BIBs (syrups) a healthy amount. The drinks are always refreshing and I appreciate the care they put into this place. The bathrooms stay clean, and someone is always cleaning up something or picking something up. They do an excellent job. They also have a sitting area indoors, partially indoors (with wind shields) and outdoors. They have fans and heaters. Stopped over in Birmingham for the evening and ate at Baha Burger. The food was yummy. We both got cheeseburgers- I got the sweet potato fries and my husband got the onion rings. The onion rings weren't as crispy as he likes them, but other than that we really liked our food. We sat on the patio and played the little ring game they have out there. I haven't visited Baha Burger since before COVID, so decided to check them out for lunch. My friend frequents often, so she reminded me that the good thing about this restaurant is, you can order different size burgers depending on how hungry you are. So I decided to order the "baby" Salmon burger with a side of fried okra. The cashier who rung me up asked if I needed a side of sauce abd then named the ones available and so I told him ranch. I wish he would have told me the ranch would be an extra charge, but nonetheless, the food was cooked very well. The okra was extra crispy (how I like it) and the burger was a pretty good size ever though I ordered the "baby" portion. The food was cooked to order as well, so it was very fresh. I will say, the salmon burger even though it was good, had a slight fishy flavor, so I had to grab a lemon or two to combat the taste. Also the gentleman that brought our food (I think he was the owner) was super nice and welcoming! Just keep in mind, he said they often get busy after lunchtime. The plaza where Baha Burger is located is very busy because of the other businesses/restaurants located there, so if you are in a hurry, you may want to get your food to go because it took us a while to find a park. The cashier asked me if it was my first time there and I said years ago; I ordered the baby salmon burger; she explained that it was not a salmon fillet but more like a salmon croquette. Such a simple question that sets everyone up for a successful dining experience! Food is EXCELLENT: 5 stars, ambiance gets 5 stars as well, but that's not why I'm writing this review. Tonight I stopped by Baha Burger in Hoover (4745 Chace Circle this does not apply to any other location). Two teenage boys were working the registers; they were very polite. I ordered my food to-go, and then I sat down to wait. As I was waiting, a man who seemed to work there (mid 50s) walked behind the counter as one of the teen boys took food out to a car. Apparently the kid forgot something, and in a highly irritated tone this man said (loudly enough for customers to hear), "I don't know how he managed to f*#@ that up so bad." When the kid came back in, this guy started tearing him a new one behind the counter, fully audible to the dining room. It's not my place to tell a manager how to talk to his employees, but it is my place as a customer to take it out of the dining room. I approached the counter and said, "Excuse me, this is a conversation for the back of the house, not the dining room." The manager looked at me and said, "Okay, KAREN!" I was amazed that someone in authority at this place was talking this way not only to his staff, but also customers. The man went into the kitchen (without the boys), and I asked someone whom the guy had been speaking to who that guy was. They said, "The owner." I couldn't believe it. I waited for the man to walk out again, and when he did, I walked up to him and said, "You're the owner?" He looked at me and angrily said, "Just LEAVE." Went to Baha Burger last night on a whim. We were out shopping and were looking fir a good burger. Located in a popular strip mall, and plenty of customers inside, we figured it might be a good choice. We each ordered the BYOB with our favorite topping and took a seat. Staff was courteous and brought our fresh made burgers promptly. The Kaiser bun was firm, and toasted on the outside and soft on the inside. Burger was plump, hot and juicy with a great flavor. Grilled onions and bacon were on point. Pickles were thick with a nice crunch. I have to say, this was the best burger I have eaten in a while. My wife also picked the BYOB, and she said it did not disappoint. Her words, "I'll be back, this was good!" Sweet potato fries were hot and crisp, could have used a little extra salt, but that is personal preference. The str of the show was the onion rings! Large, thinly sliced sweet onions were lightly battered and deep fried to a golden brown. Excellent flavor and crunch. Haven't had onion rings like these in a long while.
