Looks amazing and can't wait to dig in. I have visited this place in the past . I remember having the salad and they did not disappoint. It's enough for 2 people to enjoy. Ohhh we love MELT! My partner introduced me to this place, and we ALWAYS enjoy our food. We often get the "Mac N Egg Rolls" (I always save an extra bite for my partner because he LOVES these!!) I have eaten the Beyond Burger as well as the Chicken Bacon Ranch on Texas toast. We've also tried their chicken fingers for the kids, and I absolutely love their dipping sauces readily available. My partner got the Deep Fried Double Stuffed Oreos and was immediately in a trance-- I don't eat sweets, but I can confirm these were DELICIOUS! I'd also like to mention the staff is great. They have always been so kind and helpful, and very patient with us. They are very quick to help and will readily give you knowledge on the menu items. For the quality of food, I don't mind the prices. We always come with empty tummies and leave with full bellies. I also like the interior of this place! It isn't super crowded when we go, so we usually have a very quiet and peaceful meal. It's super inviting and just overall very comfortable. You can certainly have an intimate meal with your partner without too much distraction and outside noise. I also do want to mention I love that they have board games inside!! I've always had great food at Melt locations! This location in Hoover is very inviting and relaxing. They have some of the friendliest staff and delicious food of course! I ordered the Mac Melt with fries as my side. Everything was perfect about it! The worker asked me if I wanted any sauces, and I didn't think I needed any. My son and I had a great experience at Melt Hoover. My son wanted to go somewhere to get a Patty Melt. I looked for different restaurants and saw a Patty Melt on Melts menu. We both ordered it and it was delicious. What's great is they ask how you would like your meat cooked. We ordered medium. I asked the person who you order from if the tomato cucumber salad was very vinegar based. I don't like it's sour. Instead of just telling me he said well let's let you try it before you order it so he got me a small cup so I could try it. It's a great mix of tomatoes, cucumbers, and feta. We chose to sit outside, which was very nice under an umbrella. Our food came out rather quickly. We ate every bite of it. As we were leaving, we were cleaning up our table and picking up our plates and one of the staff said please don't worry about that. We've got it. The grilled chicken were really delicious my raging Cajun was not as spicy as described but good. Service is really quick. Their fries are great with rosemary ketchup that serve. This a real nice place to sit and relax while having a good sandwich. I came in to see what the hype was about. I was greeted when I came in pretty fast and she was very friendly. They have a little something for everyone on the menu. I had the ragin cajun chicken sandwich. The chicken could have used a little more spice but it was juicy. The sandwich needed something else because it was a little dry. The slaw needs a little work also but overall, it was an ok sandwich. The fries were right out of a bag. Hands down the best & most flavorful sandwich I've ever had. Chicken pesto with mozzarella and tomato on sour dough with a side of mac-n-cheese, which was excellent too. What makes a better summer lunch than Melt's Flyin' Hawaiian sandwich with French Fries? Add in honey mustard and Diet Coke and I'm a very happy girl! If you haven't been to Melt before, you should consider giving it a try. We've eaten here a few times for lunch and have enjoyed it every time. The food is tasty, the service is good, and the atmosphere is laid back and very casual. They also have a small patio with outdoor seating, so I will probably bring the dog the next time we come here. The Honey Baked Goat Cheese appetizer is AWESOME! Be sure to order it, even if you're not a huge fan of brie. It is truly exceptional. My husband and I have different approaches to eating. He always gets the same thing--the burger. But he says it's really good and why get anything else? (As a FYI...the burger comes on Texas Toast, which he says is a positive). Me? I like to try something different on each visit: the Ole Smokey sandwich and the Chicken Pesto sandwich are both tasty, but I especially enjoyed the Flyin' Hawaiian sandwich (pictured). However, we both agree that Melt makes EXCELLENT French Fries. They are a steak-cut and cooked to be crispy outside and soft inside. Incredibly friendly greeting when we arrived. Courtesy exhibited by all the staff and servers a nice selection of "not your run-of-the-mill" sandwiches. We came here on Easter Sunday for lunch at my nephew's request. Thankfully , they were open because we planned to come here not realizing or considering that their hours could be effected. It was crowded when we arrived. Most places in the area were closed and understandably so. We were able to order at the counter and locate a spot to sit that would accommodate a party of 8. We ordered a variety of things : food truck nachos , Mac melt , Turkey / bacon wrap, chicken fingers plate, salads , cheeseburger, patty melt ... ALOT as you see. Everyone enjoyed their food choices. I didn't love my cheeseburger. I really wanted to love it. Way too much cheese! Sounds funny but yeah I'm funny about cheese. All the cheese took away from me really enjoying the burger. This is my first time coming out to Melt Hoover and the ordering process is different from the Avondale location. You place your order at the counter and get a number and just seat yourself. I ordered fried pickles for an appetizer and got a cheeseburger with French fries. The fried pickles were really good and it didn't take long before my entree arrived at the table. The food was good and I managed to eat only half of my burger because it was too much food. Customer service was awesome not only from the cashier, but from the others employees as well that were busing out dirty dishes. read more

I love this restaurant. I have yet to have a bad experience here. Specifically this location. The food is exceptional, and the staff is always on their A game. The location in Avondale is actually significantly closer to where we live and work, but we drive the extra distance to come here. I'm really bad for not wanting to venture from my favorite, The Ragin Cajun, but everything on the menu I have tried has been delicious. Especially the Mac n egg rolls!! When my husband asked if I wanted to go to Melt last night after we left an appointment, I immediately perked up. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat in the area and I'm so excited that they will be opening another location. I was so excited to come here after hearing so many great reviews. My friend and I came here on a Saturday afternoon. She ordered the Mac Melt and I had the Rajin Cajun and a Strawgaritaville drink. My friend said her Mac Melt had no flavor whatsoever. My Rajin Cajun also didn't either. There was no hint of "Rajin" anything even with the spicy cheese? It was a very bland sandwich. The best part of the meal that we both agreed on were the fries which were crisp and had a GREAT flavor. My drink was also good but tasted like $10 juice. Overall, I loved the atmosphere of the place (very casual and they had board games available to play) but I will not be back to this location. Fast casual restaurants are the best! You order and pay. You get your food. When you're ready to go, you just go. Melt does fast casual very well! Last night, we celebrated the end of the indoor track season by stopping by Melt. I have never had food from this restaurant, but I have heard good things. When we walked in, I immediately noticed how the tables were spaced out. I liked that. They had stickers on the floor to make sure people in line maintain social distance. We ordered and received our food within a good amount of time. Everything tasted great! The kids had leftovers. My drink was great! I could have had another one. Lol! Will we be back? I love the design of the place that it's a kid friendly atmosphere with cute little lunchboxes to hold the napkins. The service was great and something that I noticed is that there is always someone cleaning. I really liked that. I got the strawberry fields salad with chicken and I really liked it. I wanted something simple and not too filling and also healthy...even though the menu looks fantastic and I wanna try everything on it. Decided to try Melt for dinner. This new location is in Stadium Terrace shopping center behind Culvers. It's a very nice location. Pretty big inside with a small outdoor seating area. There are some parking spots in front of the restaurant but not many. I had to park at Aldi and walk over. It would be nice if they had 15 minute parking spots for people just picking up orders. We ordered the cheeseburger, mac melt, and the flying Hawaiin. Most things are served on Texas Toast which is great if you like Texas Toast. I ordered one of the few things not on Texas Toast which was the Flying Hawaiin. It was served on a pretzel roll. Each sandwich came with a side. I liked that there were a few choices for sides besides French fries. I got the tomato basil soup for an upcharge of a dollar. Soup was good but was very oily. My sandwich was good but was lacking in pineapple. There was so little you really couldn't taste the pineapple. I probably wouldn't get it again. Hubby didn't seem to care for his cheeseburger since he said he was really hungry and only ate half of it. The kid really liked her mac melt. She ate the whole thing! My first time with my wife and teenage kids. Curiosity quickly turned to a certain level of familiarity with basic toasted white bread and standard ingredients that give it a home style flavor and appearance. The Rubin I got had a nice flavor. Everyone's meals were good. The fries had way too much salt on them but a replacement was sent out. The tomato, onion, cucumber and feta salad was rather raw and uninspiring , perhaps needing more seasoning and time to marinate. The staff was courteous but seemed rather wanting to be off work. Lots of maintenance issues on the inside. Walls heavily scuffed by chair backs, graffiti and condiment splatter. The tables and floors were relatively clean however. Probably won't be returning any time soon. Wish it was better. At $60 for four basic sandwiches, I imagine most of the price is to pay for the rent. Even so, I was expecting more. read more
