How hard is it to read the order and get it right? Apparently it is quite a challenge for this place and others in the area. If you are an investor in restaraunts look elsewhere, the labor base here is non existent if competence is a requirement. After much confusion - I thought they were checking on my order but they were not - I asked for a refund because I have food allergies and none of this inspired confidence. I was told they could not refund me, I would have to email customer help. After repeated emails, I have never been refunded. Prior to this, we went here several times a week for my husband's work lunch. No more. I am astonished that I could not get a simple refund - and it has cost them what were substantial weekly orders. read more

I always forget this location is here, and maybe that would have been best if I had continued forgetting it was here. Already in the area I see the sign and think that Firehouse sounds perfect! As I go in I walk over to the counter to place my order. The person in front of me took a few minutes, so I was ready to order when I stepped up to the counter. The person taking the order talked so low and muffled I had to repeatedly ask her to repeat herself. They had an ingredients spinner that you could turn telling you all the extras you could add to your sandwich. As I looked at this I asked if there was an extra charge for the items, to which I was told 'I don't know'. I added them anyway and finished up my order. As I sat there 4 additional people came in to place orders. As I observed there were 3 employees working on my order. Everything was done in slow motion. There was one order ahead of me that came out about 5 minutes after I sat down. My order took approx. 5 more minutes. I know now long, but not typical for Firehouse Subs, even when they are bursting at the seems with customers. The other people that placed their order never were served while I was there and finishing my meal. Overall the food wasn't bad, made incorrectly, but not bad. I requested light Italian dressing and it was dripping everywhere they put so much on it. I would have requested that they remake the sandwich, but I really didn't want to wait for another one, especially with the customers that ordered after me still waiting for their food. Overall very unsatisfied with my visit here, and don't feel like this is a good representation of the Firehouse Subs name. I wouldn't hesitate to go to another Firehouse, but unlikely I would return to this one. read more

I too had a very bad experience at this location. I experienced rudeness from a worker, Marissa McGuire. She was literally speaking to like I was not a customer. Very argumentative and confrontational. I would not hire or allow someone like her to represent my company. When my food was prepared on 1/3/24, no one washed their hands. The young lady who grabbed my bread had just grabbed the trash from the bin, sat it to the side and put my order in without washing her hands. The young man who heated the meat and finished preparing the sandwich was pulling up his pants in the butt area and continued to fix my food and did not change his gloves. Something is very wrong with this operation. I didn't eat it and reached out to corporate and I have not been reimbursed. This whole operation is unsanitary and the employees believe that they don't have to respect the guests. This is an operational issue and it trickles down from the top. I agree with other reviews, I will not be eating here. Anna, I did submit a response through the Feedback option. Also, I called and I submitted a review for this location. I still have not received my reimbursement for the uneaten food items I purchased. If not for the unsanitary conditions; the food would have been eaten. My mom and I have always loved FHS but the last few times I've been there it's not been as good. I went last Fri and got two subs, neither hardly had any meat on them at all, it tasted like nothing but bread, lettuce and mustard. Also I paid for two cookies but they didn't have any. I called when I got home and realized it but told them I didn't want to drive all the way back as we live about 20 min away so another 40 min waiting to eat didn't sound worth it. Guy on phone took my name and said they would replace it next time I came. So about a week later I came in. The guy behind the counter told me he wasn't giving it to me said I should've come in the next day. i told him it was the first time I had been near the place since then. I argued with him for a minute or two about it. He threw his hat down like he was gonna start a fight with me in front of my kids so I just walked out. I called corporate who said they were going to notify the owner and he would call me, never heard from anybody. I would never step foot in this location again and I really hope they go out of business operating this way. read more

I'm typically a huge fan of this store but recently I have not been having a very good experience. I've been trying to be patient because of all of the COVID-19 mess going on because I know everyone is struggling but a recent event sent me over the edge. I walked in and noticed they were relatively busy so I naturally expected there would be a wait. I notice that there are 3 workers making sandwiches and all 3 are on the phone with someone...at least 1 maybe 2 of them were on the phone with people who just so happened to be in the room. Friends stopping by to order food and visit in the meantime, I'm assuming. Wouldn't have bothered me as long as they were continuing to put forth their best effort. I finally step up to order and I order the simplest sandwich you could imagine: White bread with nothing but turkey and pickles...nothing else. I complete my order and step aside to wait on my sandwich, which took 25 minutes for me to get. As I mentioned before, they were relatively busy so I expected a wait...but not this much of a wait. All of this time the workers making sandwiches are still on the phone and goofing off. I finally get my sandwich and head home to eat. When I get home, I open the sandwich and it's completely wrong. I couldn't even tell you what kind of a sandwich it was but it was not my simple turkey and pickles only sandwich. At this point I was pretty upset so I drive back to the store and when I walked in they immediately asked if my sandwich was wrong and from what I could tell, I wasn't the only one who had the wrong order. I tell them what I ordered, and they begin to make it...so I thought. They were still relatively busy but I figured they'd whip mine up real quick and we'd be done...not quite. I waited 15 more minutes and repeated my simple order 4 more times before one of the employees threw my sandwich on the counter and told me to "check it yourself" and finally it was right.
