The parking can be challenging, but they will be moving closer to the Walmart supercenter in Hoover on 150 sometime in the summer My son ordered the buccaneer burger and I ordered the classic. Both were just 1 patty. I did ask for ranches on the side with my tater tots, but did not receive them. The burgers definitely have a homemade taste to them. They definitely give you a generous amount of tater tots. Once I place the order, it was ready in about 15 minutes. The cashier brought it around to me which I thought was sweet. I like how it's decorated inside and it's not too bright in there. I will definitely be back to try a different burger.

Absolutely delicious and crave worthy. The burger was juicy and flavorful everything I wanted. The bun was toasted to perfection. My husband got the regular hand cut fries and I got the sweet potato fries. Literally the best SP fries I've ever had they were crispy and perfect balance of salty sweet. Yum! I wish we had one in HSV guess I'll have to drive back just for the burgers lol. They also serve different styles of hotdogs and fried pies for dessert. They have a few beer options and fountain drinks. Our food came out quickly and the whole place had a funky cool vibe.

The highlight of the meal was definitely the burgers. The Wagyu beef patties were excellent--juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. We also tried one of their hot dogs, and it was very good as well. The bun was soft, fresh, and really complemented the toppings. The fries were crispy and tasty, making for a solid side. For our meal, we ordered the Chili Ray Cyrus burger with fries ($13.29), an Al Capone hot dog ($8.79), a Blueprint burger ($11.29), and two fountain drinks ($2.79 each). Our total came to $48.69, including tax and tip. The only thing keeping this from being a five-star review is the pricing. While the quality of the food is undeniable, almost $9 for a hot dog felt a bit steep, especially considering it's just the hot dog without a side. If the prices were a little more reasonable, I'd have no problem giving this place five stars. Overall, the food quality exceeded my expectations, and I'd definitely return when I'm in the area. If you're looking for a well-cooked Wagyu burger or a quality gourmet hot dog, Whiskey Foxtrot is worth checking out--you'll just want to be prepared for the premium pricing.

When I got here I groaned a little because there was a long line and I was hungry. However, the line moved quickly and I got my meal in record time. Ordering was easy and the people up front were super nice. Did I mention the food came out quick? It was just as delicious as it was quick. I went with an order of the Asian zing wings. They were sauced up the way I like it and the chicken itself was crispy and juicy. The sauce itself was unique and bold. I had a spoon to eat the leftover sauce on my to-go container. A coworker of mine had the Philly. While I didn't try it I can verify that based off their reaction that it was incredible. There's not many tables to eat here, as this seems more of the place to grab a lunch to go. I see more visits in my future!

I'm very sorry for what happened and appreciate you bringing it to my attention. After reviewing your comment, I believe the total was incorrect because our employee accidentally rang up the large fries twice. That was our mistake, and I sincerely apologize for the confusion. More importantly, I'm sorry that your concern was not handled with the professionalism and respect you deserved. If a customer has a question about an order, we should always take the time to review it courteously and resolve it. I would appreciate the opportunity to make this right. Please contact me directly at le@debhotdogs.com or (205) 767-9026 so I can personally apologize and make things right for you. Thank you again for your feedback. It helps us coach our team and improve, and I hope you'll give us another chance to provide the experience we're known for. I posted this in response- My response to the owner- Not only does your employee not know mathematics, but the scenario of ringing up the fries twice does not calculate either. Let's go over your reply. $8.10 + $2.79 + $2.79= $13.68 I will be generous with a 10% tax rate. $13.68 X .10 = $13.68 + $1.37 = $15.05 Even your employee showed me the register total, and it equated to $16 & change. I do not know what kind of operation you are running, but I can say with absolute certainty that there are obvious mathematical issues and questionable practices. I decline your apology and your contrived excuse. I would rather seek a business that treats customers honestly. I posted this on Yelp because honest experiences I have can be deleted by Google if the owner feels they are being marred. It is not ok to delete honest comments. If a business treats a customer with dishonesty, it is not ok to protect them and indemnify them from the truth as seen by the offended. This post reflects that the owner acknowledges my complaint but offered some contrived excuse that just did not pass the smell test. If this owner tries to bring legal action against me, this will be evidence to their admission of the incident and Yelp allows honest posts unlike the Google and others that rather protect the business. I am and always will be a user and advocate for Yelp and its integrity.

Because this is in the same parking lot as first watch, which is a breakfast/lunch restaurant the parking lot was pretty packed. We got there around 12 and luckily he was able to find a parking spot. As soon as we walked in, we could tell it was pretty busy in there. I saw a couple getting up from a table and immediately went over and sat at the table. It is table service, but you do have to order at the counter. They have a pretty good variety of burgers, chicken sandwiches, and salads. Unfortunately, due to an outbreak for lettuce that is getting people sick I decided against getting a salad. I just got a regular cheeseburger and it was delicious. My son also got a buffalo chicken sandwich which I must say was a very good size sandwich and a burger with tater tots. I got the french fries and they were very good. I will definitely be back here. The prices were great, and the food was delicious.

Baja Burger may want to gather the staff together and have a difficult conversation about the word…read more"burger" being in the restaurant name. Because when I walked in and asked the very nice guy at the register what their best item was, he didn't hesitate for even half a second. "Fried chicken club sandwich. Hands down." Not "one of our burgers." Not "depends what you like." Nope. Immediate confidence. The kind of confidence that makes you trust a stranger with your financial future. So naturally I ordered exactly that. He even doubled down and told me it was the best sandwich he's ever had. Ever. That's a dangerous level of hype to put on a chicken sandwich. At that point I wasn't ordering lunch anymore. I was preparing for a spiritual experience. I got the sweet potato fries on the side and sat there waiting like a kid staring at the oven on Christmas morning. Then the sandwich arrived. And honestly? Visually, this thing deserved its own entrance music. Beautiful sandwich. Crispy golden chicken, stacked perfectly, looked like it had been assembled by a food stylist with relationship issues. I took the first bite and immediately realized what was wrong. Flavor had called in sick. The chicken itself was cooked perfectly. Great crunch. Juicy inside. Beautiful breading. But somehow nobody introduced it to salt, pepper, seasoning, spices, or joy. It tasted like the kitchen spent all their energy making it look incredible and forgot the whole "taste" portion of the assignment. My colleague ordered the exact same thing and had the exact same reaction, which honestly made me feel better because for a second I thought COVID had made a surprise comeback. The sandwich was one shake of Cajun seasoning away from greatness. The sweet potato fries were solid flavor-wise, but a little limp. Not tragic. Just lacking that crispness that makes you keep stealing fries after you're already full. This place feels like a really good concept that just needs somebody in the kitchen to become emotionally invested in seasoning. Three stars feels fair. Nothing was bad. Nothing offended me. It was just aggressively average after being introduced with Super Bowl-level hype. I'd come back, but next time I'm ordering an actual burger at the place called Baja Burger. Feels like that's probably the safer bet.
