Classic Burger and BBQ definitely could use a serious face-lift. But I guess that could be said for the whole neighborhood that Classic Burger and BBQ was in. But I have to add that the service here was extremely friendly and professional and the place was also clean. I went with the burger and French fries combo. It came out pretty quickly. They call your number and you go grab your food. So, one thing that I did notice is that they did not melt my cheese on my cheeseburger. The bun was also a bit too big for the cheeseburger. Still, it was a decent cheeseburger and French fries. I have definitely had better burgers and I definitely had worse, but it is still good to see an old-school burger joint operating when so many look to the fast-food giant names instead of these local places.

The coffee was a good robust cup of coffee. This is a real old school diner. Counter seats with a few booths to the side. No frills here. Decent diner food with great friendly service. By the time I finished my breakfast, the lunch crowd was starting to come in for a seat at the counter and booths. I heard someone say, this is the best Philly cheesesteak in the area. Anyways, this was a pleasant place to have a good simple meal with some awesome service. The wait was just a few minutes and we got a burger, tater tots and a chicken sandwich. While they are known for their burgers, I wanted to also give the chicken sandwich a shot. Each came dressed as you would expect (lettuce tomato, mayo, mustard etc) and we happily dove in. The burger was very good and the tots were hot and fresh. The chicken sandwich hit the spot as well and the staff was friendly.
