I made a mobile order that was supposed to be ready for pick up at 6:01. I got to the store about 6:05 to pick up my order. I went in to the pickup station and did not see my food. Not one employee greeted me or asked me my name for the pickup order. After about 10 minutes one employee thanked me for my patience but never ask for my name. Almost 20 minutes of waiting the same employee finally asked my name and handed me a bag that had been ready the whole time! This is the worst customer experience I've ever had. Was looking for a Philly that doesn't skimp on the meat. Sandwich was good, although the meat tasted a little like it had been simmered or maybe microwaved as opposed to a fresh grilled taste, but very acceptable nonetheless. Jersey Mike's offers both hot and cold subs, chips, cookies, brownies, and assorted drinks. They have a kid's menu as well. They have a loyalty program and you can eat in or order online or via their app. I tried my first Jersey Mike's Sub for my birthday. I had a coupon for a free sub through their loyalty program. I placed my order online so I can not tell you anything about inside. I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Cheese Steak Sub, a bag of chips, and a diet drink for curbside. I won't lie, I spend my entire birthday gathering freebies, so curbside was a Godsend. The app quoted me 15 minutes and I got there a bit ahead of time. The outside of the business is nicely kept and they were BUSY. I figured I'd be waiting for a while but a gentleman came out, right on time with my piping hot order. He was friendly, greeted me, asked if I was Rachel and confirmed my order. He even asked me if there was anything else he could get for me, which was nice. When I unpacked my order the sub was messy with cheese, onions, peppers, and chipotle mayo everywhere. I was not displeased. It smelled wonderful and tasted even better. Did I have to use a fork and knife? Yes, I did and it was worth it! I can't wait to try their other subs. read more

I had enough Shore Points for a regular sub (join the rewards program). So, I decided to try the Alabaster location for the first time. Walked in and and immediately greeted by all staff. Made for a great ordering experience. Online ordering is an option as well. I went with my usual, #8 Club Sub, Mike's Way. The young made who made my sub carefully placed all of the ingredients and more if I requested. The sandwich was delicious with plenty of everything, very pleased. The store is clean with a nice dining area. Glad to have this location as an option that is closer to me. I will definitely visit again. read more

Jersey Mikes is one of my favorite places to eat but this location leaves a lot to be desired. The lady slicing the meat is very rude not only to her coworkers but to the customers. She was yelling at her coworkers with a line full of customers. Also there was no tea, either sweet or unsweet, and nobody told us about that prior to ordering a combo. When one gentlemen pointed it out the man behind the counter just said "yeah we haven't made tea". Just feel that the customer service could have been much better. read more

This new location is super convenient to my home, and it's really the only way to get an authentic-style New York/New Jersey hero--complete with a deli slicer. The restaurant is always very clean, and never crowded. Very attentive staff. I always get the "Original Italian" and my son gets the "Chicken Bacon Ranch Melt." Ordered an Italian. I swear the bread roll has shrunk. Employee placed TWO very thin slices of tomatoes so I had to ask for more. She spread shredded lettuce on HALF the sandwich, so I had to ask for more lettuce to cover the uncovered half. Onions the same, a couple strands of onions, again asked for more. The store in Hoover and Vestavia are never a problem. I don't know what it is with this store in Alabaster. Doubt I'll be back, having had unsatisfactory sandwiches on a few other occasions. We are regular visitors at Jersey Mike's in Hoover, it's hit and miss at best. We tried the Alabaster location today and what a HUGE difference! The staff went above and beyond, it was very clean and they even had all of the ingredients available! We will definitely be back!!! read more

Well I really didn't want to write this review! But I'm so angry I had to. So I pull up around 8:23 and I'm sitting in front of the location putting in my order and when getting to the payment it kept spinning around. So I called the store because they didn't close until 9:00 pm it was 8:33 at the time of the call and I asked the woman who answered the phone if she seen my order which she said yes but it was placed for Saturday at 10:15 am mind you it was Thursday! An error on the app part So at this point the payment already went through and while speaking with her she mentioned something about a cut off time for door dash which I wasn't door dash and that they were cleaning up to close. So while she acknowledged that she seen my order and knew I was sitting literally in front of the door she never offered to make my order and refunded my money for the order. Meanwhile another customer arrived and ran inside and ordered something and they made it. So I left angry that even though the location was closing at 9 pm it was just 8:30 and I felt the correct way to handle the situation was to recognize I was outside and say not a problem I'll go ahead and make that for you since I already paid!! But not just hang up the phone without saying anything. So while the food is good I will not frequent this location anymore maybe none at all. Mind you I spend between 25.00 and 50.00 a visit! read more

Unhelpful and uncaring. Jersey Mikes is known for going out of their way to heat up turkey so it is safe for pregnant mom's. This establishment refused to do this for me and then with my second choice said it's going to be a long wait for a hot sandwich. Completely horrible customer service. read more

Stopped by the Jersey Mikes in Alabaster today and couldn't have had a better experience. The staff was lovely and accommodating and the restaurant was very clean. We will definitely make the extra 10 minute drive after the last few awful experiences we have had at the Hoover location. read more

Personally, I find the location very convenient. The customer service has been very good every time I have visited. The sandwiches are always delicious. If I do elect for a sauce, or wet ingredient, and the order is to-go, I ask for it on-the-side. The employees are pleasant and accommodating. read more

This store needs better management, at the least someone who cares about their customers. They are disorganized and cannot seem to get it together. I have been maybe 3 times and each time it is so frustrating I say "I'm never going back!" Well last week did it for sure. Had my sandwich Mike's Way and they put so much oil and vinegar on the sandwich the bread was soggy and awful! They went way overboard on the oregano too. I couldn't eat my sandwich and threw it in the trash. What a waste of money. Corporate needs to check at this location and see what is going on. It took 46 minutes to get our food. Service was the worst I have had in a long time and they had several people working so can't blame it on lack of employees. And the guy taking the order was really rude to my wife a couple of times. First as this was our first time at a Jersey Mikes my wife asked what was in their tuna. He said something like "What do you mean". So she asked what all ingredients. She does not like bell pepper and celery of which he listed so she said oh nevermind that she did not like peppers. His response I'm an arrogant tone was "well we have 17 other items you can choose". She already had a back up in case. So she ordered the Philly cheese steak with no peppers. He never asked what kind of bread so luckily I made sure she told them. Then when we were down paying a different guy we were informed since our order was to go we would not get to tell them to add any lettuce, tomatoes or other items they have there in the line. They just come as listed on menu. How was we suppose to know this. We told the guy we had never been there. So as we were waiting my wife and I were talking amongst ourselves when she said she did not care for the place. The same guy who had taken the order overheard and said "you don't have to like it. You don't have to be negative about everything". Well this was the turning point for me in deciding we will not be back. read more

I have visited this location twice and everything was ok. My last visit I agree with Sue K. review that they were a little heavy on the oil and vinegar and my bread did fall apart, but I was eating a home and was able to put sandwich on a plate, no problem. I ordered the Original Italian med size for lunch and they put plenty of meat on it and was so filling that it was the only meal I ate all day. As with all restaurants they could use more help but it is what it is. I plan on visiting this location again soon. read more

Terrible service! Placed an online order and had to wait over 30 min to get my order after the pickup time. Even after notifying the staff, they continued to work on other orders as I waited. I will not support this place again. I would rather drive to other locations instead. I will be contacting corporate to apprise them of the service at this establishment.
