Ordered takeout via Yelp/Grubhub & was able to pickup before the estimated pick up time! We ordered the shrimp taco, baja fish, al pastor, carne asada, fries & shrimp ceviche & horchata. For all the items, there was a good amount of meat in all of them. Shrimp taco, Baja fish, shrimp ceviche - would order again Horchata - would not order again. It tasted weird to me like watered down. The carne asada and al pastor was a little bit dry but the al pastor had good taste. I went to have dinner on Saturday Oct 11 2025, I ordered Flautas with beef filling and they served me Enchiladas and also I was charged for Enchiladas,the price is different, the Enchiladas cost more than the Flautas, when I taste the beef was too salty and it wasn't shredded like it supouse to be, the rice was too spicy and extremely salty, when I contact the manager to solve the issue he was not in my side he started arguing with me on the phone about the mistake he personally did when I ordered my meal, I didn't like this, they manage mexican food in the place and in my opinion they don't have any idea of Healthy Mexican cooking, Mexico is my place of Birth, in this restaurant they do not cook traditional Mexican meals as they should, the manager explained to me they do not add sauce to the Flautas, in my home town the Flautas comes with a delicious home made avocado cream made with real and ripe avocados and cilantro, the Flautas are soo toasty and yes they are prepared with a thick avocado cream over and serve with rice and beans at the side. Personally I didn't like the food in this place is not worth for the price, also the beverages like the hibiscus water doesn't have free refills, the manager said the owner will call me immediately and I haven't been call yet. read more

I've come to Yelp to tell the world that I found the best seafood taco delivery in all of NYC. One of my friends decided to order 40 tacos for a small gathering and we thought this was too many tacos. Turns out the tacos were amazing and we finished them all. Top three tacos from Taco Azul are the shrimp tacos, fish tacos, and carnitas tacos. The shrimp tacos come topped with sweet mangoes and tomatoes. The fish tacos are lightly fried covered with chipotle sauce with pickled cabbage and avocado dressing. There is no better restaurant that offers delivery of fish and shrimp tacos than Taco Azul. I stopped by in person as i was running errands around the neighborhood. I was the first person of the day, service was just starting and even then they were still timely. Theres a lot of food options on the menu, i went with the wings (i chose not spicy) and they were good, although didnt come hot. I also had the corn elote which was my favorite, wish i got a full cob. The last thing i had was the chicken quesedilla, very good and authentic. Lots of chicken, which i was impressed with. I have been coming to this restaurant for two years. I ordered drinks to go and the guy that made my drinks filled it 1/4 of the cup. when I asked him why he had an attitude and was very rude about it. He said that that is how the drinks come, but I have been ordering them to go for a while now and they never fill it. It is always filled to the top. I explained to him that I was here during the week, and I even spoke to the person that helped me during the week when I also got drinks to go and food, he said he wasn't sure why it was filled up that way, and the guy that helped me and he simply walked away from him. The food, now we have been here three times and every time, I order from the Birria menu. Absolutely phenomenal. The beef consommé it comes with is a MUST! The rice is not cooked very well. Most of the food isn't salted enough. The seasoning is there, but it feels as though something is missing. The Guacamole & Chips are really good! My number 1 go to for taco delivery/take out. The quality is by far the best in the neighborhood. I can't even count the number of times I've ordered from here in 2020 and 2021. They don't skim on the ingredients and they give you a nice dollop of guac. Delivery can take a little bit long, so if you drive, I recommend just picking it up. I always have to reheat my food when it gets delivered :(. If you're gonna choose a sauce, forget the others and just get the chipotle Mayo!!! You won't regret it. My favorite order is always their carne asada. I've tried almost every taco on the menu (multiple times to give them a fair chance), and I gotta say, their carne asada is chefs kiss. It's probably their best taco (excluding the special tacos) in terms of flavor and how tender and juicy it is. Al pastor was drier than I'm used to and sooo salty. The chicken was similar to the carne asada but a tiny bit saltier. The lunch special comes with one side and one drink. Unfortunately, they forgot our drinks the last time, but it's alright. This place has good tasting tacos, but they need to work on their staffing. The tacos take a very long time I've dined in and ordered for pick up and both times waited about 45 mins to get 3 tacos. Maybe they need some more chefs, and maybe also more servers! I tried the blue tacos the first time and considering I paid an extra quarter for them I expected them to have more flavor. I will say, the fillings were good, however the tacos were soggy and that definitely affected the flavor. My favorite was definitely the fish and second would be the chicken. After my last experience giving them 45 mins to make 3 tacos for pick up, I don't know if I will be returning too soon. read more

I had been meaning to try this place since they were at their original location. I'm so glad I did! First of all, it is absolutely adorable inside. So bright and colorful with beautiful artwork on the walls. A delight to eat at. The servers are always so nice and with all my big taco orders they've never gotten anything wrong! I normally love going here. Their shrimp and fish tacos are really tasty along with their guac and chips and agua frescas. However, the restaurant moved to a new location, closer to a town's center. I knew there would be some delays and confusions since it had not been long since they have moved. We as a part of two ordered guac and chips and some soda. They came about 5 mins after we ordered. Taco Azul's new location has been open for about 10 months so we decided to check it out. This location has a decently sized dining area with plenty of seats and bright colorful decor. We ordered the birria tacos with the beef consume. The meat was super tender and delicious. The beef consommé was amazing, it tasted like the broth from a good beef noodle soup. I wanted to drink the whole bowl. The Baja fish was fresh, crispy on the outside, and moist and flaky on the inside. The carnitas and al pastor were good as well. I have to say all of the meat was tender, not hard or chewy like some other taco places. We also ordered the esquites, but they were just ok. They have other dishes like enchiladas and mole so definitely going to go back to try them. They also have a bar and you can order a customized margarita with different juices and salts which is pretty nice. The staff was super friendly and made the dining experience even more enjoyable. I love this place! To start, the interior is so cute. Also, the lunch special is such a good deal. I got the taco lunch special ($15 dollars I think) which got me three tacos, rice and beans, and a soda. I got the cauliflower tacos and the vegan tacos which came with "soy meat". Both of them were really tasty but I think I preferred the vegan one more :) On other visits here, I usually get the enchiladas. This place is my absolute favorite spot around me. The salsa are always fresh and the meat always taste so good. I have ordered from this place three times on seamless and never have been disappointed with their food. I always order the Baja fish taco and chicken taco. I haven't tried anything else from their menu but those two items are especially well made. They fill up the tacos with big chunks of fish, guacamole, purple cabbage and add radishes and limes on the side. I especially enjoy their mango sauce, it is always super fresh. Came in to grab take out. Was greeted by the warm colorful decor which I loved. There's a small bar in the restaurant where if you wanted to grab a quick drink. They have happy hour drinks ($2 off) from 4-6pm. I ordered my food from the bar and the gentleman was super friendly and gave great suggestions on what to order. I got the taco barria with cheese (the soup is an additional $3 but worth it), elote (perfect amount of seasoning) and a carnita taco.
