Lovedddd this place. Originally was gonna go to some "trendy" place around the corner but their service was horrible and the wait was 50 minutes!! Mama Puebla was a 4 minute walk around the corner and this place really turned our afternoon around. Service was great, our waiter was very attentive even thought he was the only one on the floor. I usually stick to my favorites and here's my last take out order: Carnitas Tacos Chorizo Tacos Steak Quesadilla Tostones BIRRIA TORTA The birria torta was EVERYTHING and I suggest that everyone who enjoys birria tacos gives this a try. It comes with the deep rich consommé for dipping. It's basically like a Mexican style French dip and it did not disappoint! I really do enjoy most of their tacos. My rotational order is carnitas, chorizo, al pastor, fish and birria. My favorite quesadillas are the steak and shrimp ones! I will always recommend them. Our Order: Fish Tacos Flautas Beef Nachos Chicken Fajitas with all the fixins and accompanied with multiple Sauces: Green being the best. Surprisingly, the food arrived much faster than quoted. Let me preface this by saying I'm not from ny just visiting family and this is my first time where I'm driving myself around. I was struggling with the parking meter and went inside to ask for change and the worker while he didn't have change helped me out and I finally was able to park. I decided to stop by and order after my appointment since he was very nice and accommodating. I was headed back home so I placed a to go order. Wait time was only about 10 mins. I got the birria torta and horchata. The horchata was a little on the sweet side but still good and the torta was demolished within 10 mins of getting the box open. Customers beware! I don't even know why I even bother coming here but against my better judgement I went there anyway. Let me start off by saying that the servers here always have an attitude and act like they are doing you a favor by serving you to begin with. I came here once and because the aforementioned statement I stopped coming. Ok so I was craving chuletas Fritas (fried pork chops) which comes with rice, black beans and tortillas. Now on their paper/plastic menu the price for this dish is 16 dollars. But when the cashier gives me my total, it's 20 dollars! I'm thinking to myself "wait a minute, that's a 4 dollar difference". So I asked the lady, isn't 16 dollars? And she responds that the prices went up and it was 20 dollars with taxes. I'm no math wiz but there's no way you can charge 4 dollars taxes on a 16 dollars order. As you can see in the photos provided, $1.51 is the taxes. So either the prices went up and it is 20 dollars with taxes or she thought she found herself a sucker to overcharge. So I said, oh don't worry Ms just cancel my order and I walked out of there. Now, I've never had a problem paying for anything no matter how cheap or expensive it is but I honestly felt like there was something not right. So I look online, specially in Grubhub which we all know prices are usually a couple of dollars more. So low and behold, 16 dollars+ 1 dollar delivery + 2.78 (15% tip-which I usually give 5+ cuz the guys work hard and I want my food fairly quick lol). Which means it's 21.29 total! That's not cool! Why would you try to rip your customers like that!? I would recommend if you are in a mood for Mexican, go to Taqueria Lupita. Small little mom and pop shop restaurant. They might not have your dinner size dishes that come with rice and beans but EVERYTHING else that Mama Pueblas has, they have. And the people there are much nicer and welcoming. And if you still want your "Spanish food" fix, for the same scamming prices of Mama Pueblas, go to made in Puerto Rico, delicious puertorrican food and they give you a lot of it. Don't recommend this place at all. Always go with your gut instinct. read more

During quarantine I ordered from here multiple times. The food is usually very tasty despite sometimes ignoring the notes on the meal and even calling to make sure they got the order correctly. My favorites are flautas, shrimp chimichanga, and buffalo wings. Their rice and beans are very flavorful and super consistent. The only down side is they have Jamaica water on the Uber menu but it seems to never actually be available at the restaurant so they'll send a substitute. Also no matter how many times I tell them or write no green sauce they'll put it anyway they should add an option for additional sauce for a fee! Great food tho. read more

We have ordered most of the main courses on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. We have eaten inside the restaurant, but the majority of our orders have been delivered which we have not encountered any problems; in fact, they always arrive a lot quicker than the estimated time. MY favorites are their Quesadillas, Burritos, Tacos, and Fajitas. Looking forward to having a good meal with my family, I called in an order to Mama Puebla. Never had a disappointing meal at Mama Puebla, but today it sucked! First of all, they inform me that there is no more sour cream or cheese. So that basically eliminates most of the meals. Then when we get our order we discover that they have forgotten part of our order. Second worse thing, I ordered the red pork tamales, they sent some crappy cheese ones with no flavor. I had a very disappointed daughter. She now suffers from food depression, yes that's a real thing. We were looking forward to a great meal and all we got was half ass Mexican food.
