When we entered, we were greeted with kind smiles from the ladies and they welcomed us to sit at any free table. Inside has lots of decor with ample seating. We sat and a server grabbed us menus. We got a carnitas burrito, grilled cactus side, horchata, and strawberry limeade (per her recommendation). Everything came so fast, and they even split the burrito for us! Oh my god, everything was so good. This has to be one of the BEST burritos I have ever had, comparable to the ones in San Diego. I love carnitas, and they do it so well here. It was tender, flavorful, just the perfect amount of sauce and seasoning! And the horchata was the best I have ever had too! The strawberry limeade was refreshing, and the grilled cactus was good! It was my first time trying it and it reminded me of aloe vera/okra texture. I had such a great time, such a great experience, I will definitely be back!

The black beans were also well seasoned and the queso fresco topping was the perfect finishing touch for the side dish. The Limeade was refreshing and flavorful, and a great pairing for the whole meal. I ordered delivery from Uber Eats, and the total with tax and tip after discounts (I'm an Uber One member) was $45.12, but if you're in the Parkchester area definitely check out Taqueria Tlaxcalli for delicious, authentic Mexican food #notsponsored

I was getting ready to drive to the restaurant and two minutes later the delivery guy rang my bell. Last week on a Saturday night we called 3x times after getting hung up on twice to place an order for fajitas. After waiting an hour, the delivery guy called to say he was outside however poor guy was given the wrong address. We ended up cancelling our order due to the lack of professionalism and poor service. At that point I didn't even want the fajitas. The food is great however the service for delivery is not good at all.

Wasn't until my Cuban friend started speaking Spanish that we were able to get service and was able to order. With all that said, the food was mid at best (fresh but lacking flavor) but the space was cute and cozy. Seems to be a hit amongst their friends and families so I will gladly leave their safe space to just them.

I get there and I pick up the food for 30.40 and then I add 2 Jarritos $2.75 each for a total of $5.50. That brings the total order value to $35.90. I hand the man a $50 bill and he only gives me back $10 dollars. He pretty much tried to scam me for $6 dollars cash no debit or Apple Pay. I then tell him "Sir, you told me 30.40 for the food and then 3 dollars each soda is 6 so a total of 36.40. Why did you only give me a 10 back" he said that was the correct change and then proceeded to print out a receipt that doesn't even match what I ordered. He created a new order with added items to increase the price. Long story short, they try to scam you of your money in there whe you pay with Apple Pay or cash. Make sure you add everything up and check it. This is now the 3 time these people have tried to play with the amount of money I get back or charged. If you eat here, watch your money and your change!
