A modern Italian/ modern American restaurant in style. We ordered a few appetizers - ricotta bruschetta with prosciutto was not bad, but bread was bit too sick and not enough crusty for bruschetta. Charcuttery board was tasty, with very good sauces. Rabbiit sausage was very tasty, however polenta was mostly sweet and not really savory. For the entree, we had bass, which was cooked well, scallops were not bad but I prefer to see a nicer sear on the scallops. Steak was okay (choice of hanger steak on the good restaurant list is somewhat questionable to me). we had Mojito style cocktails - was okay, but not great. Wine list selection is mostly Italain, with some California and few of the French bottling, priced primarily at triple retail. Service was prompt and friendly. read more

I used to be a big fan of Table104 until last week when I received Burrata the size of a penny. It was a joke. Very disappointed.

Rather disappointed in our dinner here. Things started out well: our drinks were good (the 104 martini is quite nice) and our waiter was friendly. Our table was downstairs, and for a time it was a nice, quiet experience. We ordered a meat/cheese board as an app and it was great. Things took a very quick turn with the arrival of two large, very loud parties in the center of the room. I get that noise isn't really anyone's fault at a restaurant, but the acoustics were so tremendously bad downstairs that we literally had to yell to each other to be heard from across the table. It was deafening and soul-crushing in there; a soft wall hanging or something could make a world of difference; they must know that the room gets loud, so why not do something about it? (Or at least warn us ahead of time?) After we ordered our mains, our waiter was suddenly conspicuously absent from much of the rest of the night (maybe he was also trying to escape the deafening din). Great food would have helped, but alas, it was underwhelming. My seafood risotto was rather gummy in texture, and the flavors were pretty one-note and got boring by the end. My wife's pasta w/ a mint pesto was a bit better, but also lacked any kind of pop or excitement. While I'm sure this place does many things quite well, and it certainly seems to attract a lot of people, I won't be returning, especially because Madonia is just up the road, and in my experience is superior in pretty much every way. read more

While set farther back from Stamford downtown, Table 104 is a great italian option if you're willing to make the short drive. We got there right as happy hour was ending, and got the meatballs and calamari off the HH menu and the burrata off the regular. All were very good, but the burrata is a cant miss. For entrees, we got the branzino and the marg pizza. The branzino was so-so but the pizza was very good. Their dessert menu also had some good variety. The restaurant is small but cozy, and parking is valet. Happy hour ends at 6! read more

Ordered a wedge salad for myself and a burger for my husband. My salad had about 2 pieces of old blue cheese and the dressing was pure oil. Accompanying focaccia and Italian bread was stale. Bun to the burger looked like it came from McDonalds. Fries were gross, and tasted like grease. I wanted to like this place but I had to reorder dinner from elsewhere. read more

We had a table of 11 for brunch today. My husband ordered the brussel sprout salad and got a ceaser, and the waiter asked him would he mind having that instead. My husband does not like to make waves, so he said ok. He ordered eggs benedict for his entre which were cold and runny...the whites were not cooked at all...gross. When the check came we wanted to divide it equally by five, which the waiter said no can do. most of the table was disappointed. Not recommended. BAD food Bad service. read more

I tend to give 5 stars to every decent restaurant, so I'm not a tough critic. I was super disappointed with this restaurant. Great potential - the upsides are that the bar looks nice and the food tastes great. I went out to birthday dinner with two friends (we all have birthdays a couple of days apart). We ordered apps, drinks, and entrees. The apps and drinks were good. However, the waiter came to us 3 times to say that my chicken dish was taking a long time for some unexplained reason, and we had to wait. We waited literally an hour and a half for my chicken to cook. By the time we could eat, staff were cleaning, putting chairs on tables etc. I've never waited that long for food before. Everyone else seemed to get their dishes on time. To be as fair as possible, I'll mention that the manager paid for a round of drinks because the food took so long. It took so long that the valet had to go home so he gave us our keys in the restaurant. When I got to my car, the driver-side window was rolled almost all the way down (I had left it with all windows closed). The car was unattended. Someone could have reached in and taken whatever they wanted. That made me angry. I wanted to like Table 104, but I didn't. read more

Solid restaurant on Long Ridge Road in North Stamford. The food was very good. The service could be better. We sat at the bar on a Saturday night and the waitress was attentive but cold. I had to ask about specials and then I had to ask for bread. The food was fresh and prepared well. The space is nice and clean. read more

I love this place. Not only is the food awesome but they (especially Walter) is extremely accommodating. We held our Christmas party there last week and all 85 people had a blast! Walter went around with a massive bottle of champagne and no one left hungry. We had so much fun we all stayed until the bitter end! Wonderful staff and food. Can't beat it! read more

Clearly locals don't need to comply to mask mandate. Bartender and locals were NOT masked. The food was good. Not great. Truly surprised about the masking as I had called to check their policy re: masks. Wait staff were making drinks behind the bar (???) and seemed to truly want the drinks to go out right. Nice! Had a pizza as that seems to be their deal. Very uneventful. It was veggies and tuna. Some of the veggies were raw as in small pieces of cauliflower. Yep. You read that right. Here's the reason why they only get a 3---when we get there the guy asked if we had a reservation. We say yes, give out names and he makes this huge sigh of relief. Ok no problem. We get to the table - time to eat.... The food was good. We ordered their classic pizza along with a meatball pizza and calamari. Instead of meatball pizza they send out a meatball appetizer with some crostini's. No worries bc they take it back and the meatball pizza comes out really quickly. That's great. We order our meal, my girlfriends salmon was undercooked. She asked for "extremely well done " she sent it back and got her food back fairly quickly. Here's why they lost the 2 stars, they literally rushed us out. We were sitting after dessert and the waiter comes over to our friend and whispers in his ear that they needed the table!!!! I go out to eat ALOT, I would say 4 or 5 of the 7 days a week and my family is. It going out to fast food restaurants or diners we are dinning out. I have never ever been rushed out of a restaurant. I've eaten in NY, Minnesota, Boston, Florida even out of the country and I've never had that experience. It really left a bad taste in my mouth. I hadn't seen my friends in so long and mid sentence we were asked to leave. We got a lot of I'm sorry's but that was poor taste to say the least. read more

Tables very close together and the table next to mine (both 2 seaters) has one of the seats facing directly at the opposite row of tables. Just a lil awkward and a bit forced it felt Both special drinks were basically over sweetened and under alcoholled. All basically forgivable --- Not forgivable- Grilled octopus app - barely warm/room temp Potato gnocchi - room temp/ cold /mushy No waiter to check on us for too long Was starving - ate anyways as my friend was paying and he doesn't like sending crap back. Was asked if they could serve the entrees while still eating apps????? There was no room on the tiny table. I had to have them take the water and bread dish off the table just to fit the apps?! Now u want to rush me? Said NO Then served my Martini with a lime ?!?! Said I asked for it ? Laughable - I've devoured a solid 1,000 martinis in my day... never asked for a lime. I have been to this restaurant on 3 different occasions twice for lunch and once for dinner last night Saturday September 21st. The lunch experience was quite good where I had a salad and the spaghetti squash. Last night I took my neighbors for dinner and I was very disappointed. Two of us had the butternut squash soup and it was tasty but was room temperature. I ordered the Parmesan crusted pork and my two guests ordered pasta dishes. I sent the pork back because it was lukewarm. After 15 minutes the server came back and told me that they had burnt it and had to cook it again. By the time they brought it out my two guests were already finished eating. It has been my experience that when something like this happens s manager or owner would come over and offer to make things right by saying that the one entree would be on the house or offer something else. I was never offered an apology. During the drive home my two guests told me their pasta dishes were good but lukewarm as well. I am somewhat embarrassed that I recommended Table 104 and will more than likely not be back. read more

Lunch today was wonderful - cozy place, pretty and modern interior, food choices were varied and our two pannino's were delicious! Tuna and short ribs served with a small salad on the plate. Table 104 recently opened on Long Ridge Rd just north of Saks on the way to the Merritt, the fourth re-incarnation of this space (Matteo's, Fio's, and Minetto's to name a few) over the past several years. In addition to the restaurants available in the strip malls on High Ridge, Table 104 offers an option to downtown Stamford. Parking is available in an attached lot, with valet parking on the weekends. We recently visited and sampled several small plates, a two pizza combinations, a pasta and one of their larger plates. My favorite dish of the visit was the "Sicilian Arancini with the Bolognese Sauce." The arancini were perfectly cooked to maintain its interior moistness; and the kitchen did an excellent job in frying each ball to create a crispy exterior. They sat atop a mound of Bolognese sauce, which was very good...this dish was the highlight of the visit. The other small plate, The "Meatballs, Pork-Chicken Beef, Grilled Crostino, Marinara, Shaved Grana." was disappointing. The meatballs were severely undercooked, borderline raw, spicy and once we tasted the very rare interior we stopped eating them. The first pizza to arrive was the mushroom pizza. The mushrooms were pretty good and worked well with the cheese. The toppings on the other pizza were sausage, et. al. The sausage was also pretty good, unfortunately both suffered from a crust that was very bland. The pasta dish was capellini combined with shrimp, arugula and grape tomatoes. Other than a few slices of garlic, the dish was significantly under-seasoned, it was very bland. The "Grilled Hangar Steak, Smashed Fingerling, Roasted Peppers, Leeks, Mushroom Ragu," ordered medium-rare, was served rare-raw. Other than a little vinegar flavor from the chimichurri, It was also under-seasoned. Unfortunately it was overwhelmed with oil from the chimichurri. The potatoes were well prepared but they too were without any seasoning. Overall it was a very disappointing visit to Table 104. Other than the arancini, the other dishes were not memorable. read more

We came here after work for some appetizers and drinks. They have a good selection of bar food and Happy Hour specials from 4:30 - 6:30 Monday to Friday. They have a good selection of wines, beers and cocktails. They have a full bar where patrons can sit and dine too. We used a couple of high tops adjacent to the bar. We ordered several different pizzas (veggie, spicy with meat, meat and cheese) which were all done in their wood burning oven! They came out hot and tasty. These were washed down with different libations. Some calamari, meatballs, cannelone and some more pizza were ordered and finished quickly. All good! We just ordered from the bar menu. I would say the food is Italian inspired. Oscar, our server, was attentive and quick. I would like to try them for dinner. But if you are in the area and need a cozy place to take friends or associates, try Table 104. read more

Once again Walter, Domenico, and staff come through! Last night we enjoyed the pizza and one of the nightly specials (pork chop scarpiello). As this dish is one of my favorites, Table 104 took it to the next level. The pork chop was cooked perfectly (medium) and served with hot cherry peppers and baby roasted potatoes, over spinach. Very enjoyable. The pizza is probably one of the finest brick oven pizzas in Stamford. Never disappointed. Very well run establishment with one of the partners always in the house. Table 104 is a hidden gem in Stamford, a little off of the beaten path, but well worth the trip. The service is exceptional from the [complimentary] valet, to the servers (with a particular fondness for Johnny and Vlad) to Walter, the owner, who makes a concerted effort to greet every guest with a smile. The drinks are amazing with a strong rec for the basil bourbon lemonade. And the food will not let you down. I didn't think I liked arancini until I had it here, and it was to die for! One of the better restaurants in this area and priced very fair. Enzo, the owner, took yet another restaurant that had been cursed by prior poor ownership and mismanagement and made this arguably the best place in Stamford. Its not quiet so be ready to up the volume ... but I like the breakaway from the typical "sleepy" North Stamford competition. It's lively in other words ... on most days. Wait staff is on the ball and gets a great read on your reason there ... date night with the wife ... easy casual service ... out with the family they yuck it up with the kids ... business or otherwise serious ... they adapt and keep it professional. Good quality in a wait staff I think. Parking is a pain hence the valet. The outdoor dining area is a nice bonus too. Overall pretty cool place. read more

I am addicted- so good! It's hard to find excellent salads and fresh pasta but Table 104 nails it. Two salads you must try: 1. Shaved Brussel Sprouts salad 2. Kale Caesar, omg so good!!!! Their meatballs are delicious too and I really enjoyed the calamari. The fresh pasta was also yummy. The wine menu is great as well. Gone back three times in the last month I like it so much! Pros: -Well executed small plates--octopus and beet salad were very good, although the grilled octopus could have used a tad more seasoning -Accommodating, friendly staff -Good overall "vibe"--comfortable yet pleasantly "edgy" Cons: -The initially perhaps almost overly attentive service at the bar turned scattered once the place got busier -Check was handed to us (business meeting, split tab) with grossly wrong amounts not once but TWICE--really? When a patron points out (nicely, btw) that the bill just doesn't reflect what was consumed, don't you make doubly certain version #2 is 100% right, instead of still having incorrectly charged items on it? -Wine list is standard--not bad, but also not terrible creative and on the high mark up side of things, though admittedly with 50% off on Monday nights In short, I will return since the food sampled during my meeting at the bar was certainly far above average, and the proprietor(s) and staff do create a welcoming experience. We had our end of year party at Table 104 and it was great! The food was excellent, the servers were attentive, and the outdoor patio was a perfect spot. They even had options for us gluten free folks - and the GF pizza was delicious! My only suggestion is to indicate somehow that it's GF. We had a hard time snagging any because it was so good that everyone who didn't need it was eating it! Guess that's a good problem to have! I'll definitely be back again! read more

Went here for a date night on Friday. The valet guys were friendly, the atmosphere was great and our server was very nice. Upon eating, my fiancé bit into a piece of glass ( I believe it was a piece of broken plate). We showed it to our server, he apologized and said he would tell the manager. The manager was made aware of it, but did not acknowledge it to us at all and instead made a joke of it on our way out.
