This company promptly responded to request, accomodated my schedule next day and were able to come earlier so called. Explained quickly what was needed and options, then proceeded to hook up new gfci switch and outlet for new pool light at same time. Eric showed me how it works, then test gfci for me to show that also works and communicated 30 day guarantee for work and to let them know if anything else was needed. We had a water pipe break under our kitchen sink. After being out of our house for a week, we found that the outlets in the kitchen were water damaged and not working. It turned out that the outlet under the sink tripped all other outlets on the line. Tab was quick to respond and installed a new line from under the sink to the refrigerator outlet. Two technicians worked for a little over an hour. Was pleased that they were able to resolve the issue for under $500. read more

We needed an external floodlight/camera installed which also required power be run to the mounting spot. Tab responded quickly to my request with a clear estimate for the work. We scheduled for three days later and the two techs showed up precisely on time. We talked about what I needed, they made a recommendation and proceeded with the job. Both techs were very friendly and efficient - they finished the job (including clean up of debris) in less than an hour. They stayed until I had the light/camera set up and working and the charge was exactly per the estimate I was given. I'm not certain I can even find adequate words to describe how grateful I am for Tom and his crew. I've experienced exceptional service in the past- but Tom's commitment, compassion, consist communication, and conscientious dedication goes so far beyond that. He is incredibly genuine and honest-and it's very obvious that correcting the electrical issue at hand is personal for him and his employees follow that same philosophy with his leadership. My breaker box shorted out in one of the rainstorms on Oct 6th and on Oct 8th Tom was called out to my townhouse to investigate what happened and what needed to happen now to restore power. Tom communicated with me through every part of this process; he considered how every option might effect me and my living in my home during the process of replacing my electrical panel (which involves SRP and city inspectors); Tom even took into consideration my dogs in this process AND took care of the dogs while he was here working and I was at work. The details of this project are long so I won't try to include them all but I will say this: from the first time I spoke with Tom on the phone I KNEW my home, my dogs, and the restoration of power to my home was in very capable hands and did not at all worry from that point forward. When you can go for days without power and truly not worry about it because you know it's being taken care of safely and incredibly efficiency placing the mine and my dogs needs in the highest priority--to me that says everything about the man and the business you are working with. Words truly cannot sufficiently honor the exceptional above and beyond service Tom (the owner) provides nor can words describe the quality of intense detail he puts into his work and catering to his customers unspoken needs. Yesterday all my power was restored, including in areas that did not work prior to the breaker box shorting out; and even with my entire home lit up and me happy as a clam-Tom asked about my front porch light that he noticed doesn't work--all I can say is this has been hands down the most secure and comfortable experience I've ever had with a company and I would go a month without power before I'd have any other electrician anywhere near my home. You all pulled out all stops today for the final set up and testing of all electrical areas of my home and getting my new breakers labeled--and let the dogs help!! Our breaker box had been tampered overnight turning off our refrigerator and microwave/oven. I was able to get the refrigerator breaker reset but the microwave wouldn't come back on. Tom and his crew responded quickly (within the hour) to my request that morning and stopped by later that afternoon. Totally remedied the situation!! It's not easy to consistently get "5 star" reviews on Yelp, but these guys absolutely deserve more than 5 stars! Will definitely be giving them a call in the future and passing on their name. Tom came out Himself The day I called because his employees were all busy. He was just great, I couldn't ask for a nicer person to work with and he really knew what he was doing. He replaced a light at my daughters house and in fact went to Home Depot because I was stuck there with sleeping grandkids. Took pictures of a couple of light fixtures, texted me the pictures and came back with the light fixture and installed it. The price was more than reasonable and the work great. Update 5/28/2021 Tom the owner cam out and fixed the issues. He was very helpful and very customer service driven. He reimbursed me for the HVAC company and will count the dollars spent on the panel rejuvenation towards a future panel replacement. I think this is very fair and I appreciate him coming out and fixing the problem this morning! I had a Tab Electrician come to my house at approx. 2:20pm to replace two light fixtures and do a "Panel rejuvenation" where all the panel breakers are replaced.  The two light fixtures were replaced, and the electrician moved onto the panel.  After he finished and left (approx. 3:45pm), I noticed that my A/C was no longer turning on.  I checked the thermostat, and it wasn't on either.  I called the electrician back and he came back to look at it.  As I was watching him at the panel swap breakers place to place, I saw what seemed to be a small explosion or "flash".  He told me it happens all the time and it was no big deal (said that he put the breakers on the wrong phase?).  After troubleshooting, he told me that he tested the voltage at the thermostat and air handler, and that both were getting good voltage.  He advised me that this was an HVAC problem and to call my HVAC company.  I had my HVAC company come out to fix the issue ($149), and my HVAC tech let me know that there is NO voltage going to the thermostat or the unit and furthermore that due to the type of A/C unit I have the electrician would have had to go onto my roof (He did not go on the roof) to check the voltage to the air handler.  I called Tab electric back (6:49pm) to have them come back and fix the problem as I paid close to $1000 dollars for this work.  I was told by the after-hours rep that she put an emergency message out to the electricians.  I've called back two more times and have not received a call back yet.  I am incredibly frustrated as I had A/C before the suggested "Panel Rejuvenation" and after I do not.  It is now 9:15pm and I have still not received a call back from Tab Electric.  I want this solved, the suggested "panel rejuvenation" was suppose to 8mprove things, not take away my air conditioner when we're breaking into the 100's. read more

What a great experience. I reached out to TAB to help me fix a few of our DIY electrical issues. It was easy to coordinate and set up a time - and get this - the technician showed up on time!!! Kevin was timely, efficient, and very nice. He even gave me some tips on a few projects I've been wanting to do around the house - I will definitely be calling them again soon. The great reviews are true! My elderly parents lost power to half of their home. Summer in Phx with half the electricity in the home is not easy. I live in CA and I found Tom and Tab on Yelp and was very happy. They were able to come out quickly to check out the issue and provide a quote. Slight miscommunication on me not sharing fully what was going on, not being asked, and someone not knocking on the door to speak with my parents on the issue. When I got the quote from Tom, I told him what the issue was, which was new information to him. I told him I would shop around for more quotes and get back to him. Monday morning he called and said he would like to send someone out to my parents place again to see if the power could be restored and for a fraction of the initial cost. So disappointing. With all the stellar reviews on Yelp we were really looking forward to working with TAB Electric on several small electrical needs around the house. But the communication and customer service for TAB Electric was very disappointing. Apparently the crew was frustrated that there were other workers in the house at the time they were working and some decisions regarding placement were not decided on yet (understandable). But instead of communicating the issues and their frustrations with us, they had "an emergency" and left with none of the tasks complete. When we called the main number to express our frustration, the dispatcher on the call was not helpful and continued the lie about there being an emergency. He did not apologize or show any sort of understanding for our frustration and inconvenience. I privately messaged the owner through Yelp immediately afterwards and did not receive a response till Monday at 10am, two hours before the crew was supposed to come back. His message finally explained the real reason they left, and he also said we were hostile to his employee on the phone and therefore was cancelling the appointment. Like I wrote in my response to him, if we were just communicated with and spoken to with some honestly we would have worked with the team for a solution and completely avoided this entire situation. And we were absolutely NOT hostile on the phone with the dispatcher. Disappointed? Yes. Frustrated? Yes. Wanting to speak to a manager or owner or someone with actual customer service skills? Yes. But not hostile. I'm sad to say that I do not recommend working with this company. read more

Started out promising, came out and gave estimate on a complete home rewire for a remodel. Starting having problems when techs would not communicate with each other and put boxes at two different heights. Drilled through a support beam- which had to get repaired, as that is not to code. Their workers would leave early or not show up due to personal issues that I didn't need to hear about and was really just negative bs that added to my frustration. Then they were (at no fault of their own) called off the job for a few months due to framing issues. When I called them to return (several times) they told me their workers would not complete their job-even though we were current on our progress payments and had a contract. I had to pay my engineer to correct the beam at a substantial cost out of pocket and had paid them for their time to correct their previous issues. It is very difficult to get a second electrician to complete someone else's work, and it was unprofessional to take the job, take my money and then not complete the job. I understand that jobs halt sometimes and that this is difficult for employers to get work for their people elsewhere when they are called off a job...but having Tab refusing to come back and complete their contracted work made my remodel delayed longer than it already was and caused a bad situation in my life to get worse than it already was. I think Tom is a decent humam being, but that doesnt help me with my electrical needs. read more
