I've had TAB Electric come out a few times in the last 3 months. They've done the following work for me (1) Hung two large light fixtures; one was a big 35 lbs in my front hallway and another in my dining room. (2) Installed dimmers for these two fixtures. (3) Installed an outdoor ceiling fan. (4) Replaced all of my indoor smoke detectors as they were past the 10 year mark and needed to be changed. They've done exceptional work and the price is very reasonable. TAB has great customer service. They really care that their customers are happy, they are flexible with scheduling and they guarantee all of their work. After I contacted them through Yelp and told me how much they are charging which I thought was reasonable, unfortunately after their service they gave me entirely different bill. When I disputed the charges, the guy was mad that he can only take little amount off the bill that if I can pay that, I will hear from his Lawyer. Not only that they have one racist worker who was asking me to go back to my Country that this is how they do in America, if I can't afford the price they will put my house on lien. We own an older historic home and half of the house was without electricity. For almost ten days when we called Tom Braegar. We had previously called two more "corporate" companies to come and provide estimates. One company did not want to troubleshoot the problem and stated that we needed a full rewiring of the home providing us with an estimate of $15,000. The other company without taking the time to properly identify the problem quoted us $23,000 for the same thing. For the last and final consultation we called TAB Electric. Tom, who is the owner of the company, without hesitation did a full inspection of the home and did diagnostics on our home. The problem was a short in the wiring that was connected to a ceiling fan. Of course there were other updates and recommendations made, which we were happy to schedule. With that said, TAB Electric is a seasoned professional family owned company that not only will fix your electrical issues, but will do it at a fair price without trying to oversell you or upcharge you like the other local Phoenix chains. Availability was instant (which may be a red flag), however the price was nearly 3x what other companies quoted me. Shop around. I requested an invoice or breakdown of the quote to ensure my expectations, and what was being offered where the same, and was told they don't provide any cost breakdown. Based on the job I needed, materials should have been under $200, and its a half a days work. I know labor is high, but $600 PER HOUR for 4 hours seems a bit excessive. read more

They did a good job they were friendly knowledgeable explained everything well seems like a good company but I think the price for doing two parts that don't cost that much was quite a bit the job didn't take that long they did have to wait for somebody to bring a part though.
