Wanted to send praise and a thank you to Tim at Reedco for their service and continued service in our community. My dad is a 99.5 year-old WWII veteran who lives independently in his home, he is just getting over radiation treatment and getting his appetite back for the first time 2 months. His refrigerator and microwave went out. He called Reedco Electric, a company he had never used before and got them booked. He then reached to me to let us know. Tim from Reedco attended quickly onsite & restored power to the refrigerator he also found that the microwave was completely dead and likely caused the circuit breaker to go off - which took out the fridge. Tim explained that Reedco loves to support veterans and the call out was on Reedco. Further more, Tim reached out to us and explained that he also loves to support veterans in the community and offered to buy my father a new microwave.  Upon delivering the microwave back to my dad, he accompanied the delivery with a great chicken dinner for him to enjoy. I will be reporting this company on yelp, mapquest, the better bisiness bureau, and home advisor. I had a horrific experience with this company. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vice president came to my home and said theyd do anything to keep me from filling a complaint and would come with a crew and make everything right. He said there would be No Charge and they would do all the work that was not done.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The owner came with two apprentices. I WAS told they didnt know how to work on the security system or the cabinet and couldnt install the pump on my waterfall correctly. They couldnt even set timers to go off on my cabinets that I furnished. They only did one thing I originally hired them to do. They did do other things they claimed wasnt right but not most of the things I was supposed to pay $727 to have done. They were supposed to come in a team of four and stay four hours but after three hours the owner who came with two apprentices who did the work he announced they had to leave. They left the house and one apprentice came back in. He asked if I was still going to dispute the charges because he was going to give me a sweet deal. I said youre not supposed to be charging me a thing. He said well can you sign just showing we did these things? I wrote this work was to be done for no charge etc. It is now five months later and I came across my credit card statement from the first date they came when I filed the dispute and refused to pay. This co.pany furnished fradulent paperwork to my bank with a signature not mine dated 4/28 to get paid the $727! I will also tell you [[HIGHLIGHT]]I told Rosemary the secretary to charge my card $50 for the two apprentices and when the phone did not hang up I heard her calling her boss a jerk as he told her the electrician he sent already lost his ass doing the job and he wasnt giving the apprentices the extra money she promised me she give them.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The electrician was nasty when he came and told me hed work for 6 hours but wanted 1000 for only working a few hours. After he left I discovered the work wasnt done properly and he had me in tears. Im 78 years old and just got out of the hospital. The ironic thing is I hired the owner because he seemed so nice and honest. read more

The electrician installed a Lutron smart switch and and a regular switch. He offered advice on future upgrades. I was not told of the cost until after the job that the company had a 2 hours service call minimum. So to install one light switch was $414.00. This was surprising to me, would have been 5 stars but the fault is on the company. read more

Jacob showed up and was professional from the start. He went over everything we wanted done and explained to us the best way to do everything. Once his apprentice, Jayden, arrived, they went to pick up a few parts and quickly got to work. Both Jayden and Jacob were professional and very polite. Both even acknowledging our autistic children who said hi to them at times instead of ignoring them as we've seen in the past with other people from other companies. After the work was done, both Jayden and Jacob made sure I was happy with everything and explained what they found in my garage which was a bit surprising. We wanted 4 sockets instead of 2 and the house was initially wired that way but never completed. When we have future electric work being needed, we definitely plan to call Reedco again! And a special thanks to Mike as well, who helped me over the phone a few weeks back when I couldn't figure out which GFCI popped. Beyond grateful that I found ReedCo Electric!! I'm a permanently disabled veteran and just bought a house with a pool which was an exciting moment for me, even though the water temp of the pool was 55°. I needed the pool to be heated so I could continue my water therapy exercises without acquiring hypothermia. I explained my needs regarding a heated pool, and that I'm not trying to throw a pool party or anything during my initial call with sweet RoseMarie. They literally dropped everything to help me when I informed them that I am a disabled veteran, and I need their help to continue my water therapy exercises! I can't thank the owner Michael and his sweet wife RoseMarie enough for figuring out how to fit my job in their busy schedule immediately. Tim arrived within a day or two to figure out a way for the water heater to have a plug in on the side of my house. It was a very complicated endeavor considering the materials and skills required. Great support from Mike Reed! His team was busy so he personally left the office to diagnose and fix a broken circuit at our house. There was a faulty outlet that took down a circuit, he replaced the outlet. Also, a previous electrician installed the wrong type of breaker in the panel so he swapped that out too. I woke Saturday morning and noticed half of my kitchen was without electricity. I called ReedCo and spoke to Mike who was so gracious with me. He asked to do some troubleshooting with him prior to scheduling to come out. He mentioned that he'd like to save me money if he could do so. We talked through flipping the circuit breakers and the GFI. It actually was the GFI that when pushed, brought my electricity back on.
