Absolutely incredible experience with John and his team. I got a Tesla and needed to install the home charger. I got a quote from a different company who said my panel was too full so they'd have to add another panel and then go over the roof...blah blah blah...said it was gonna be 9k!! My friend reccomended Castle Electric and they came out, he evaluated it, found a simple solution for the crowded panel, and provided me a quote that was 1/4 the cost of the other company. They came out the following week and it took them 2 hours to install it beautifully. I contacted Castle Electrical and Lightning to have a Tesla Wall Charger that I purchased installed. I was able to get a fair quote with just a few photos of the location of where I wanted the charger installed. Robert arrived on time and was very professional. My wife was working from home and the kids were doing remote learning so turning off the power wasn't really an option. Robert was able to do the full install without turning off the power to the house. Amazing! After finishing the install Robert cleaned up I paid him and he was gone all within about an hour. Travis, from Castle Electrical and Lighting came to our house yesterday to assess and fix a myriad of issues we had with our home. Notice I said HAD with our home. After an hour and a half, Travis had adjusted our pendant lights in the kitchen, made our 3-way light switch in the kitchen work again, fixed an outlet in the living room, replaced two outlets in the MBR with ones that had USB ports in them, got our walkway lights working again, solved the issue of our patio ceiling lights not working, and got power to our pool light as well as installing GFI on that circuit. This young man was tireless, quick, thorough, professional, and very innovative in his approach to our service needs. The price was reasonable (certainly in line with, or below, some other electricians) and the quality and professionalism of the work was top drawer. I needed a dedicated 30AMP outlet in my garage for our RV. I called 3 other electricians before speaking with Castle. The first one couldn't come out to even give me an estimate for three weeks. The other two came out and gave me quotes that seemed not only high, but not appropriate for what I needed done. After a bit more research, I found Castle and began speaking with/texting the owner John who asked me a series of questions before providing a reasonable quote. One of their specialties is installation of outlets for electric vehicles, so I felt very comfortable scheduling the work with them and had confidence that they knew what they were doing. John was able to get me scheduled in for the following week and his technicians arrived on time and finished the work in record time. Robert and Jacob were friendly, thorough, explained exactly what they were going to do and got the job done in less than 3 hours (other companies told me it could take 5-6 hours for the job to be completed). Even though my extension cord was about 10' short, they helped me get the RV up to the garage so we could test out the extension cord to make sure everything worked as intended. Their pricing was fantastic and far below what the other 2 electricians quoted. Robert & Braydin did an amazing job installing my Tesla charger in my garage! They arrived as expected and reviewed with me what the plan was (which was exactly in line with what I had discussed with John). This was not an easy task as our solar box is on the opposite side of the house than the garage & we have a 2 story, yet they seemed optimistic. They were able to route the wire through our patio roof without any additional holes or wires showing. Robert showed me how to use the Tesla charger before leaving & made sure I could do it myself. We were referred by Tesla to have our Tesla wall charger installed by this local company. We texted the owner several times for an estimate over the last few weeks. He took forever to respond, I sent in photos of my electrical panels. We still have not heard back from him our Tesla is being delivered tomorrow and we don't have a wall charger installed to charge our car. We feel ghosted. Not sure why Tesla would add him on their list of recommended electrician, horrible communication and experience we have had.
