Absolutely incredible experience with John and his team. I got a Tesla and needed to install the home charger. I got a quote from a different company who said my panel was too full so they'd have to add another panel and then go over the roof...blah blah blah...said it was gonna be 9k!! My friend reccomended Castle Electric and they came out, he evaluated it, found a simple solution for the crowded panel, and provided me a quote that was 1/4 the cost of the other company. They came out the following week and it took them 2 hours to install it beautifully. I am so impressed with this company and also grateful they were honest and clearly more educated than anyone else. 10/10 would reccomend for an EV install or anything else you may need! read more

I contacted Castle Electrical and Lightning to have a Tesla Wall Charger that I purchased installed. I was able to get a fair quote with just a few photos of the location of where I wanted the charger installed. Robert arrived on time and was very professional. My wife was working from home and the kids were doing remote learning so turning off the power wasn't really an option. Robert was able to do the full install without turning off the power to the house. Amazing! After finishing the install Robert cleaned up I paid him and he was gone all within about an hour. I'm so happy that I chose Castle to install my charger! I highly recommend them for any electrical work that you need done. read more

As a homeowner, finding a good contractor can be a stressful situation. You never know if you are going to get good, reliable, trustworthy work. Half time the you are lucky to get a call back or a reasonable estimate. Castle Electrical checks all the important boxes. I hit a home run with the first company by calling these guys. The owner, John, picked up my call immediately, went over everything over the phone and asked for a few photos and videos. After a few text messages later, some of which were during his off hours, i received an extremely competitive quote but I still called for a couple more estimates from other companies just to play it safe. I got the best impression from John and his quote / timeframe couldn't be beat. I was all set up for my Tesla home charger installation. The day of the scheduled work brought a bump in the road for the tech assigned to the job and couldn't make it, so John jumped in his work truck and came over to do the job in the late morning summer heat himself. He was a super easy guy to chat with and did one heckuva great job of answering all my questions. I can't recommend him enough. If I ever need electrical work in the future, I'm giving him a call and I recommend you do the same. You won't be disappointed. Keep up the great work John! read more

The owner John was awesome to work with! He was able to give me a quote on a Tesla Wall Charger and get me scheduled very quickly. You can tell they know what they are doing with EV chargers. We got multiple quotes and they were the only ones to tell us about the SRP rebate program and we felt the most comfortable with their expertise. They were able to complete the work quickly and everything looked great. They walked us through how to charge and set everything up. Already recommended them to a co worker and will definitely use for any other electrical needs in the future. read more

Castle did an amazing job. John, the owner was clear, upfront, and personable. I had to get a new EV charger installed to replace a bad job of an old one. John's team found the issues. Shared details, fixed and installed the new charger. Works amazing. They were professional, knowledgeable and fast. I would highly recommend them for any of my electrical needs. read more

I needed a dedicated 30AMP outlet in my garage for our RV. I called 3 other electricians before speaking with Castle. The first one couldn't come out to even give me an estimate for three weeks. The other two came out and gave me quotes that seemed not only high, but not appropriate for what I needed done. After a bit more research, I found Castle and began speaking with/texting the owner John who asked me a series of questions before providing a reasonable quote. One of their specialties is installation of outlets for electric vehicles, so I felt very comfortable scheduling the work with them and had confidence that they knew what they were doing. John was able to get me scheduled in for the following week and his technicians arrived on time and finished the work in record time. Robert and Jacob were friendly, thorough, explained exactly what they were going to do and got the job done in less than 3 hours (other companies told me it could take 5-6 hours for the job to be completed). Even though my extension cord was about 10' short, they helped me get the RV up to the garage so we could test out the extension cord to make sure everything worked as intended. Their pricing was fantastic and far below what the other 2 electricians quoted. I would HIGHLY recommend Castle for electric service and specifically, for a dedicated outlet for a vehicle/RV. read more

Travis, from Castle Electrical and Lighting came to our house yesterday to assess and fix a myriad of issues we had with our home. Notice I said HAD with our home. After an hour and a half, Travis had adjusted our pendant lights in the kitchen, made our 3-way light switch in the kitchen work again, fixed an outlet in the living room, replaced two outlets in the MBR with ones that had USB ports in them, got our walkway lights working again, solved the issue of our patio ceiling lights not working, and got power to our pool light as well as installing GFI on that circuit. This young man was tireless, quick, thorough, professional, and very innovative in his approach to our service needs. The price was reasonable (certainly in line with, or below, some other electricians) and the quality and professionalism of the work was top drawer. After using several other electricians, I have found the one I will always go to. Thank you, Travis. Thank you John, for sending Travis for our job. read more

Recently purchased a small condo but was making every effort to have all trades come in over a three week period. Reached out to John at Castle Electric, explained my situation and shared my needs. John was very accommodating. He was able to work around the other trades. Travis arrived at 7:00 am as promised and went through the check list of things I needed done. Once confirmed he immediately started the project, finished a head of schedule and under my budget I set. He cleaned up the sight and before leaving went through his work to make certain it was completed as promised. I had a great experience and would highly recommend Castle Electric. Robert & Braydin did an amazing job installing my Tesla charger in my garage! They arrived as expected and reviewed with me what the plan was (which was exactly in line with what I had discussed with John). This was not an easy task as our solar box is on the opposite side of the house than the garage & we have a 2 story, yet they seemed optimistic. They were able to route the wire through our patio roof without any additional holes or wires showing. Robert showed me how to use the Tesla charger before leaving & made sure I could do it myself. John was very detailed in providing me a quote beforehand and spent time answering additional questions I had. There was no surprises when the team arrived the complete the job. I also want to add - this the only company in the area that was able to suggest the clean look of running the wires through our patio roof to ensure no wires were showing. Thanks so much Castle! read more

First company to pop up on Tesla's website link "Find an Electrician tool" and super grateful they were! John picked up on the very first ring and had a streamlined quote process, unlike 2-3 other companies I called afterwards when comparing quotes. In addition, the team came out the very next day to install my Wall Connector in the timeframe promised while other companies wanted to come out and quote me before even setting an appointment days to weeks after the quote. Communication was kind, clear, and quick. On top of it all, they took the initiative to upload my charger to Tesla's warranty portal themselves under my email. Thanks John and team! read more

Called Castle Electrical & Lighting to replace Tesla wall connector (charging station) that was no longer functional. The owner, John, was knowledgeable and had no problem understanding my issues. We set up a time for the next week, and John texted me about 30-minutes before the electrician (Robert) showed up at my house. Robert finished the work in about 20-30 minutes, left the workspace clean, and we tested the car to ensure that everything worked. Pricing was extremely competitive, and everyone was professional with the entire process. As hassle-free as you can get! Can't ask for much else from an electrician contractor. Do yourself a favor and give them a call if you need electrical work done at your house. read more

We were referred by Tesla to have our Tesla wall charger installed by this local company. We texted the owner several times for an estimate over the last few weeks. He took forever to respond, I sent in photos of my electrical panels. We still have not heard back from him our Tesla is being delivered tomorrow and we don't have a wall charger installed to charge our car. We feel ghosted. Not sure why Tesla would add him on their list of recommended electrician, horrible communication and experience we have had. We would not recommend this company and will share our experience with Tesla. read more
