Emailed Matt yesterday. He stopped by to take a look and in 5 min. Of being at our house, he said he could install our EV charger right away. I never expected that but really thrilled we were able to get it done so fast. Thanks Matt read more

Apollo Electric and Matt Ramirez saved christmas...we had a circuit go out and they came and tracked down the issue no problem. They also replaced the old school electrical panel for a low cost. I would recommend all day! read more

I reached out to Apollo as we have just moved on to our new townhouse and I wanted to have a ceiling fan installed and a new makeup mirror hung. Actually the fan had to be put together too as we had just purchased from amazon. They came out the next day, were very polite and efficient and now I have my ceiling fan and mirror all set. Total charge was $200. Great work and we would use them again. read more

If you're looking for a well-qualified licensed electrician, Apollo is the way to go. We had an amazing experience with Matt and his crew and highly recommend them for residential electrical work. They were punctual, professional, and very knowledgeable. Although our home had some upgrades from the original 1950s wiring and electrical panel, it was in serious need of an upgrade to support hardwiring our Tesla charger and accommodating future solar panels. Matt took the time to come to our home and review our needs and provided a quote later that afternoon. I was very impressed with his knowledge and recommendations and we decided to go with Apollo over two other companies based on that experience. All necessary permits and utility coordination were completed extremely quickly and we couldn't be happier with the work that was completed. All members of the crew were very professional and left our home in better condition than before they arrived. Despite some additional requests from SRP that took extra time, there were no surprises at the end when paying the invoice. Overall, a great experience. We will call Apollo any time we need electrical work done in the future. read more

Had Matt come out to do some electrical repairs needed for selling our home. Did an awesome job, and very friendly. Would definitely recommend! read more

I'm happy to give Matt and his team a resounding five star rating for the electrical work they recently completed at my home. After a number of no shows and no call backs from other electricians, Matt showed up on time and got right to work. Matt was able to complete the work in a day and a half which was really amazing. I would recommend Apollo Electric to anyone! read more

Matt: Sent over a quote to do a few things at our home and my wife agreed to the $750.00 charge thinking there was a lot to do. He came over and was very nice however it took him 40 minutes to change some wire in the panel and add a ground wire to the pool equipment. A portion of the time he was on a call with his father. Seams outrageously high for a 40 minute job. He showed up in a pick up with a rototiller in the back and a small bag of tools. Did not have the metal box to finish the take off of the EV charger. The quote for also installing a GFI 4 plug outlet. We decided not to do that. He did not deduct that from final bill. A tough call. He was nice however I feel I was drastically overcharged for work done. I guess he thinks he is a brain surgeon and performed brain surgery. He will respond with, We agreed to be ripped off. I would not hire him again and suggest that you fully discuss the work prior. Home owners beware. read more

Give me a good quote and great response time. I have an older electric box and they figured out how to still use it for an EV charger. I ordered a 240 hard wire electric charger by accident instead of a plug-in one and they came back and converted it free of charge. read more

Unaccustomed to receiving timely, responsible and efficient service, I was frankly surprised at the responsiveness and workmanship of Apollo. On-time and pleasant, these professionals left the worksite as clean as my mother's floor. These are the electrical gods you want for your job. read more

Matt is awesome! I had recently purchased a Scottsdale vacation home, and being out of state, I wasn't sure if I was going to find a good electrician. Apparently, during one of the recent Monsoons, and lightening storms. I had a power surge and all of my breakers flipped. I flipped all of them back on, but several can lights and my dining room chandelier was not working. Of course it happens, right before my departure in the morning. So I figure I'd fix it later. In my Yelp search I found Apollo, and Matt immediately responded and scheduled a repair visit. I flew in and he was onsite on time. Within 2 min of being onsite, he had it fixed. And didn't even want to charge me. And mind you this was on a Saturday. I at least gave him 20$ for his gas. I will definitely be using Apollo in the future. Super nice guy and owner. Thanks Matt!!! Matt scheduled an appointment to install an EV charger at our home IN THE AFTERNOON for my daughter's car since she works nights. She reiterated 3 times that the appointment needed to be in the afternoon. Matt showed up at 9:45 AM -- NOT the afternoon-- knocked on the door and called, but my daughter didn't answer because she was sleeping. When she called him back, Matt was sarcastic and said he MIGHT come back Monday to do it if someone would actually answer the door this time. When her dad called to ask why he didn't come at the appointment time in the afternoon, Matt's response was, "I don't know what to say to that." He immediately became defensive and started yelling. He was extremely unprofessional and canceled the appointment because he knew he was caught in a lie about the appointment time. DO NOT USE THEM! read more

I happened to need some assistance hanging new light fixtures in my living room. The challenge was my vaulted ceilings. When choosing someone on Yelp I always look at the reviews. I chose Apollo as it had 5 stars with a number of positive reviews. The other thing that stood out was the long family business history over the span of a number of years. I was not disappointed as Matt was responsive and communicated any updates. He and his team arrived on-time and were knowledgeable, professional and displayed good customer service. In this day and age you don't always get the service that you expect but Apollo Electric does not disappoint. read more

5 stars for Apollo Electric!! Yesterday I did an electrician search for quotes on Yelp to install my kitchen ceiling light fixture. Matt was the first one to respond to my request. He answered me within 15 minutes of submitting my request. He gave me a very reasonable quote which I accepted on the spot. He was able to work me in the same day. He texted me once he arrived which was much appreciated. He was very nice and polite. He kept me in the loop during installation. Folks, I have just found my "electrician for life" guy. I suggest that you do the same. Call Apollo Electric for all your electrical needs. You will be so happy....I am absolutely thrilled!! Thanks Matt! read more

Matt was awesome, came out to my place within 15 minutes. He quickly figured out that the issue was with the breaker outside and to call SRP. Not calling anyone else in future, thanks Matt! A++++++ read more

I needed an electrician to help me with a 240 volt outlet issue related to my stove. I looked here on Yelp, chose Apollo, and called them. In this case, the ratings were true. Matt is absolutely stellar! He answered my questions, gave me his rates in advance, and came out the next the morning. He promptly fixed the issue, and explained everything to me in layman's terms. He even told me to have my appliance repair guy to give him a call if the stove guy had any questions about the 240 issue. I will definitely call Matt again for any electrical issues, and I strongly recommend him. His professionalism and expertise is unparalleled. Thanks again for your help! read more

Is it in your daily routine to hang up on customers?? I called for a free estimate of how much it would be to install an electric car home charging station and the guy, Mike or Matt (whatever his name is) was very rude to me and disrespected me by suddenly hanging up on me over the phone. I'm a paying customer and usually people collect some information FIRST, before moving on with the service and payments. I think what I'm asking is very specific so I just wanted to make sure this electrician had the information I needed. The installation of the electric station would need to be done at my garage of my condo. I don't know why this sounded so strange and out of place but I'll surely remember this terrible experience and discourage anyone from calling these unprofessional people. I guess other electricians will have the honor of having my money. But certainly, I have no pity for disrespect. read more

We were in a situation where we needed a professional to asses an electric issue with the panel in our house and luckily we called Matt. He responded in a very kind matter. Came over on time; assessed the situation; he had brought the replacement parts and his attitude and professionalism was worth the 5 stars. He definitely will be my go to guy for anything electronically related as well as I recommend him to friends and family. He is professional, very knowledgeable, patient, kind and understanding. Thanks so so so much Matt! read more

I had an issue with the breaker to my pool light. Spoke with Matt @ 9:30 AM, he arrived, found and fixed the issue before noon. Fast-Professional-& Knowledgeable. Glad I found him on Yelp. The 5 star reviews are very true. I found an honest electrician for my future needs! Thx again Matt. read more

I needed a new electrician and a friend of mine recommended Matt. I have only used him since and that was back in 2011. Matt has done complete rewiring of a kitchen, installed numerous outlets and fans, installed can lights, installed outdoor lighting and most recently installed my Ring cameras. Matt has done work on three different houses for me. Always shows up when he says he will and is professional and leaves the place clean. Thankfully I am always able to schedule within a reasonable time frame. I highly recommend Matt and Apollo Electric. read more

Matt from Apollo Electric is superb with timely communication, his honesty, and timeliness. We had new water heater replaced and found out that when it died it probably fried our breaker at the box. In order to make sure we had hot water for the house, he came over near the end of the day and replaced the breaker. I think that the $190 charge was a little steep for the total of 15 minutes worth of work he did replacing the breaker but he did say "sorry". I think it must be his standard hourly charge. I wish he would have said, you have paid for an hour is there any other electrical work I can complete in the 45 minutes you paid for. I do appreciate the fact that he came over that day though. read more

Best in the business. we have used multiple times. great service and pricing. Highly recommend

I had my Tesla wall charger installed today by Apollo Electric. Phenomenal job and friendly service. Matt and his crew arrived at 7am as promised and promptly got to work running the proper install from breaker up through the attic and into the garage....clean job! The wall charger hadn't arrived via FedEx and these guys said no problem text us when it comes and we'll swing back. They came shortly after my text and finished the job. Call these guys for your EV charger installs and all electrical work. read more

Apollo Electric service was quick, friendly, and professional. Matt, the owner, scheduled an appointment with us at his earliest convenience and we greatly appreciated his promptness and efficiency in getting our electrical issues worked out so quickly. He went above and beyond to fix 2 lights in our home and work on the breaker for our garage that has been broken for 6 months. We are very happy to have the broken circuits in our home up and running again and it only took him about 30 minutes. Quick and easy! If you're in need of electrical work in the Valley, give him a call and it will be fixed in no time and at a reasonable price. read more

If you're looking for an electrician, I assure you the 5 star rating is no mistake! Matt at Apollo Electric does business the way I want and like to do business; the way every company "should" do business. He makes it easy - one, two, and done! In need of having ceiling fans installed, I called and Matt answered. After telling him about the job, he set an appointment. Then he arrived on time to do the work: fans installed with new switches. I couldn't be happier. One, two, and done! read more

LIFE SAVER! I had 2 electricians cancel on me after being without power for a couple of days. I finally had SRP coming out and needed an electrician there at the same time to replace a main breaker. I looked on Yelp, found Apollo, and called. Matt answered and was able to making it over in time (1 hour). We had to wait for SRP to remove the panel to see what kind of breaker we needed. He called a place in Mesa, ran to get it, and came back to install it all within 2 hours. I should have called Apollo first. From now on i will! read more

Matt Ramirez wired a new construction garage for me a few years ago. The job was perfect. I recently asked him to add some interior can lights. He and his crew arrived on time. They are likely ok for very basic jobs like installing a fan or outlet but not if you need any troubleshooting or complicated work done. Also strange behavior...mumbles to self and then simply left. Strange...(fyi - I don't use my real name on this site due to past experience with business owner (not this business) who came to my home after bad review and was violent) read more

It is not every day you get someone who tells you you don't need to spend thousands of dollars! My husband and I are purchasing a new home and were told by our inspector that our Bus Bar on the electrical panel possibly needs to be replaced. We sent the inspection report to three electricians to get quotes. Matthew responded within hours telling us that our Bus Bar was fine and in fact, was copper which tends to discolor but is actually higher quality. The other two electricians came back with bids around $2500! We had a separate inspector go back to the property and he confirmed that Matthew was correct. We may not need him this time but I know for sure who I am going to the next time we need an electrician! read more

Help in a crisis! I had another electrician move a couple of outlets in preparation for the installation of built-in cabinets. As the cabinets were being installed, I discovered that one of the outlets had been moved to the wrong place. The original electrician was unavailable to fix his mistake. I called Apollo Electric and explained my situation. While the cabinet installers took a lunch break, Matt sent one of his electricians over with only 30 minutes notice. The mistake was quickly corrected and my project was completed on time. Apollo Electric saved the day! Thank you Matt! read more

I contacted Matt as my husband and I are moving to Scottsdale from LA and recently bought our first home. We wanted to change out every lighting fixture in the home - 16 to be exact. I had previously purchased all the lights and sent instructions to Matt and his crew on placement and what goes where. Not only was Matt super responsive and rearranged his schedule to accommodate our quick turnaround, but he even did some drywall repair and added dimmers for us last minute - all at a very reasonable rate! He is a great communicator and made a self proclaimed perfectionist and control freak feel at ease from out of state. Would absolutely recommend Matt and his team and will be working with him for any future needs. Our house looks brand new with our new fixtures! read more
