After visiting the T4 in Stockton, I was excited to find out that there was a T4 location in Tracy as well. So I decided to make a visit. Here are the pros...T4 sits in old downtown Tracy among other family owned shops, restaurants and local businesses. The decor is pretty much the same as other T4's that I have visited. There's plenty of seating and they have a wide varity of milk drinks, teas, and smoothies and of course, tasty snacks to choose from. Here are the Cons. And mind you, this was our second visit to this location within a week. So just to be fair I thought I just caught them on a bad day on our first visit. So the during our second visit I was hoping for a better experience. Unfortunately, the wait was long, possibly due to the volume of customers in the store or only having one person taking orders and two other employees preparing drinks and snacks. I try not to be harsh in my reviews because there are always reasons and circumstances as to why things are the way they are. But certain details cannot be overlooked, such as poorly managed cleaniness of the dining area. Every table I observed was dirty...whether its was occupied or not. The area where they kept sauces and condiments we very low or out. I ordered Lobster Balls and Fried Calamari just as I did at the Stockton location and an Avocado smoothie. Unfortunately, the food was prepared differently for some reason from my visit at the other location? The taste and texture was just plain. Additionally, their business phone was ringing off the hook, because they appeared to be understaffed. I guess sometimes when you have a great experience in one location of a franchise, you expect a bit more consistency. Still a good place for cool refreshing drinks, on a hot summer day. But it's the attention to details that will keep a loyal customer base! read more

Perfect stop aftet a long drive. The place is new and clean. I love that they have so many varieties for snacks like popcorn chicken, calamari, and so much more. The drinks are OK..may be I need to explore the menu more and try something new..I always get earl grey milk tea with boba & grass jelly but I think it needs kore taste of earl grey tea. I ordered a taro milk tea with tapioca and it was delicious. Though the taro milk tea tasted similar to the one at Quickly's, I found the tapioca to be sweeter which made it a lot better! The location of T4 is downtown, making it not very convenient as parking is limited. Overall, the taro milk tea is delicious, it has a great modern design, but the location could've been place elsewhere. read more

A few months in, this place should have it down by now! FRUSTRATION #1 I called an order in to save some time. I called in and asked to do an order for "pick up", the girl said "yes sure. What do u want?". I ordered my items and then proceeded to ask her "how long?", her response "how long for what?"... *SMH*. Once I explained to her "how long until it's ready to be picked up", her response "oh well, when will u be here? Because we have people in line..." W...T...F. There was also some confusion of whether they had boba or not-- as she yelled to her coworker in the background ON the phone... Another WTF moment for me. I Let her know we'll be there in 10 minutes. So once we arrived... Yes... You guessed it... THE ORDER WAS NEVER RECEIVED. FRUSTRATION #2 So once we reordered everything at the counter.. We were missing toppings in some of our drinks that were clearly ordered but not added to the order. Maybe I'm just frustrated because I spent 20 minutes too long having to order what should have been ordered and waiting for what should have been done by the time I got there. don't bother ordering ahead, it's a waste of time. Also, I recommend asking them to repeat your order, as this isn't the first time they've F're up an order. Originally I one starred this joint. But seeing how their drinks are good, when correctly made, deserved another star. They're lucky that the amount and quality of boba places in the area is scarce. I love the one in San Jose, this one clearly needs help on the employee training end. Teach your employees not to be scared of saying "no", when they know they can't do something. I ordered a Thai milk tea with boba and the basil popcorn chicken. If you did the basil popcorn chicken in sweet chili sauce, you are golden. I've never heard of basil popcorn chicken before, so I thought I had to try it. I'm glad I did. The Thai milk tea is so rich in flavor. Usually when I order any bubble tea, I go for the Thai milk tea, and this is the best one I've had so far! My only complaint is that the store has some flies, but otherwise great. read more

Update! T4 has improved a bunch since last year. They've become a lot more consistent with their drinks compared to before. It's still a bit messy but it's okay since whenever I visit it's really busy there. Small suggestion is to maybe wipe down the tables a bit more often since they're always like sticky (:. Stopped by with my friend yesterday for a snack after watching a movie. We the chocolate smoothie, takoyaki and the popcorn chicken. The chocolate smoothie was just okay, it reminds me of the mocha freeze at Costco. The takoyaki kinda tasted weird, not sure why the put herbs on it. It's one of my favorite snacks and I don't recall it being served with herbs before, it could definitely use more takoyaki sauce and mayo since it was a bit dry. My friend ended up putting chili powder on the popcorn chicken so it was spicy as hell but without it, it would have tasted good. I wish I got the peppermint milk tea instead. We've been getting T4 for years now at other locations and usually had okay experiences but then we discovered this location and the customer service is UNMATCHED. The staff is super sweet and nice and even when they're super busy (which they usually are) they don't rush or ignore you. They make sure you get exactly what you're looking for and make conversation! Love this T4, we've definitely found our favorite location which is so close to our home! Downtown Tracy always has the gems. T4--- I LOVE YOU. I'm pretty positive this is my favorite boba joint. You get to choose how much ice and sweetness you want in your drink. I love being able to have options. I mean, who doesn't, right? Man.. This place is the kick it spot for the high schoolers. Do not come here around 2pm-4pm because it will be packed. Especially during the week. That's a for sure thing. It does get loud. Irritating loud. Loud to the point where the staff is using a microphone to call orders. Also, I damn near had to yell just so my cashier was able to hear me. The drinks are amazing though. I love it. Never had a messed up drink. Food is good! They recently opened a T4 in my area and wow. I love the fact that you can select sweetness and ice levels. Not only that but the bubble tea and food itself are amazing. Me and my friends went to T4 because it was near us and we ordered almost the whole menu. It was absolutely delicious. The interior design had a sort of modern/aesthetic vibe to it which made me happy. The inside also had a fan in it and a table with a sofa to relax on while drinking your tea or eating your food. There were also a lot of different pearls to choose from and each was unique, chewy, and flavorful. The menu consisted of a whole lot of options (bubble tea, milkshakes, teas). I've been going to T4 since their opening and the prices have been overwhelming as they have bumped prices. Recently I went to T4 and I ordered for two elegant rose tea drinks. I asked for the aloe to be replaced with rainbow jelly in one drink and the other to be left as is. They forgot to put in my aloe. It's my second time coming here. The staff is really nice and friendly. I'm so glad that they're open fairly late to get my fix! It was quiet during work days in Tracy but I hope their business is picked in the weekends since the wheather is getting warmer now in Tracy. Love this place! I've been to several T4s and this location makes their drinks yummy and they don't skimp on the toppings. Their bobas are soft and sweet with just the right texture. Been here quite a few times and it's a great place for milk tea & smoothies. There's so many options and ways to customize the sweetness and toppings of your drink. A bit pricier than a Quickly's, but I feel like the quality is better. The Milk Tea with Coffee Jelly, French Pudding Milk Tea, and Matcha with Fresh Milk are some of my favorites! But sometimes the milk tea's can be a hit-and-miss depending on who makes it a guess. For example I've ordered the Matcha several times, but one or two times I've had and it tasted two powdery. Also the food is okay-ish for a Boba place. The popcorn chicken is my favorite. Overall, the people here are super nice and the milk tea is yummy! -- Update: I also forgot to mention that the afternoons is when they seem to be be busiest and extremely understaffed. I went in today and there were only 2 working--one doing the cashier/drinks, the other making the food. I went to Tracy to visit my family but I was craving Wintermelon milk tea, so I went on yelp and search some boba places close to my sister's house and I found T4. My sister and I arrived, we found parking right away and it wasn't busy. The cashier was really nice and it took only about less than 10 minutes for our drinks to be ready. My sister love the Matcha Milk tea and especially my wintermelon, it has the same taste as I expected it to be like the T4 in Milpitas. I will definitely come back whenever I visit Tracy. read more
