Rose tea & "basil" popcorn chicken
Natasha K.

Ordered via DoorDash and it came quickly. Yea was yummy, but the "basil" popcorn chicken was bland. I got extra seasonings that they give you on the side, but still needed actual sodium. Also, was only one small dingy string of basil. I want my popcorn chicken to have a lot more pieces of basil, it's one of my favorite parts.

This place needs to be rated higher. Out of all the Boba places in Oakland, I've never had the most frequency of stopping by and getting a Thai Tea than here. This place is amazing, and I couldn't keep track of how many times I've been here. I've been served by the Same 3 baristas and they've always nailed specifically how I like my Thai Tea made. Theres also a good amount of seats available if you want to dine it. Amazing place, amazing everything.

Only came here for their popcorn chicken. Easy ordering experience through the kiosk on site. This spot is honestly loads better than the T4 in Alameda. I didn't feel like they skimped on the amount of chicken here. Have to say T4 is still one of my favorite spots for popcorn chicken!

Sooooo good!

During a hectic day at the office, I decided to door dash myself some boba tea. My order arrived quickly and it was just what I needed. I decided to try the Brown Sugar Latte with Pearls. I was a little hesitant because the sweetness could only be ordered as "standard", but it was actually perfect! Not too sweet, and not bland at all. I was also happy that I could order soy milk to be included, as I can't have too much dairy. This drink was good until the last drop - I even made sure to eat every single pearl lol! They also have snacks and I'm interested to try those all well - everything from cheese sticks to fried chicken and fries. Once I do, I was def update my review. In all, 5 stars - if you haven't tried T4, I suggest you do!

Okinawa Milk Tea
Anh T.

On a weekday afternoon, there were a few people waiting in line in this T4 location that could seat around a dozen people. Similar to the other locations, this location had its signature white and blue interior decorations. I ordered their Okinawa Milk Tea at half sweetness and less ice with boba, while my friend got their Mango Royal Tea. The Okinawa Milk Tea was a bit too sweet for my taste, but I enjoyed the texture of the boba. Their Mango Royal Tea was tasty & enjoyed by both me and my friend. I haven't been able to try one of the T4 locations in a while, but it is still of similar quality since last I tried!

Strawberry Matcha Latte 草莓抹茶拿铁 and coconut pudding

Nice environment, and staff are super friendly. Coconut pudding is my favorite . When I visit Oakland Chinatown, I would like to stop by and order some food.

I recently visited this local boba place, and I'd describe my experience as a mixed bag. I've come here a couple of times before and each time I've found the boba flavors to be quite indistinguishable from one another. Undoubtedly, the unique charm of this place lies in the variety, but unfortunately, they all seemed to be heavy on the syrup which makes it difficult to appreciate the nuances of the individual flavors. From a taste perspective, it is quite hit-and-miss--some days I've had good boba and on others, I have been left a little disappointed. It's not that the boba is bad, but it falls short of being great. That said, I believe they could do a better job at delivering a more flavorful and distinguished boba experience. The place itself is warm and inviting enough to make a late-night run for some boba. It's not extraordinary, but it does have that cozy atmosphere I enjoy when I'm out for a casual drink. The ambiance manages to make those relishing sips of boba just a tad more enjoyable. The service was passable but there's room for improvement there. Despite everything, I'll probably be back at some point, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit. This place is more like a fallback option for when those late night boba cravings kick in and Shooting Star is closed/too full.

Drink was very refreshing, foods were yummy. They were kinda busy, and they were efficient. I like there are many seat, I could chill in the store.

T4 Oakland is a go-to spot for delicious popcorn chicken and tasty milk tea. The flavors are great, and the prices are reasonable. I really appreciate how customizable the drinks are--you can adjust sweetness, ice levels, and toppings to your liking. Highly recommended if you're craving a solid boba and snack combo! Service was efficient. The inside has multiple tables and they are clean.

Very yummy side dishes and so many delicious drinks to choose from. The service was great and the people were super friendly and welcoming. The Ambiance is cute little shop with a "Breakfast at Tiffany's " kind of theme.

Basil Popcorn Chicken 鹽酥雞

Food was good. Boba was a little soft. Clean and not too busy after lunch. The ordering machine was a little weird but functional.

Roasted oolong boba
Victor C.

Average tasting boba. I had a roasted oolong 50% sweet 100% ice. Super reasonably priced! Under $4.50 for a regular size. There was a good taste in my drink and the boba was plentiful at the bottom. Would go again!

The last time I had a beverage from an I-Tea was over 10 years ago in Alameda. My first time here, and I am not used to ordering a beverage using the self serving kiosk. I couldn't find the peach fruit tea, so I selected the watermelon passion fruit tea with no sugar and no ice. This I-Tea has no tables and chairs. It is order beverages to go. That is fine with me. The courtyard in the Pacific Renaissance Plaza was the perfect place to sit and relax. I noticed some items on display. They were coconut milk with boba and fresh fruit. Curiosity got the best of me, so I ordered one. Service was a tad slow since there were only two employees working at the time. A return visit is a must. I saw something I want to try - the royal avocado delight. I haven't had an avocado smoothie in over 10 years.

After ordering at kiosks, it took about 20 minutes for our drinks. Good things come to those who wait! We ordered: Bubble Milk Tea, light sweetness, less ice Dong Ding Milk Tea, perfect sweetness, less ice Both teas had really good tea flavor. Bubble Milk Tea being more of a traditional black tea and Dong Ding being closer to a green tea. The Bubble Milk Tea had more cream, not sure if this was on purpose. For sweetness, light sweetness was good for me with boba. Perfect sweetness would be good without boba. Overall, the tea was fantastic. 90th+ percentile, but also on the pricier side. Each tea comes with a disposable cup carrier. The space is also really nice place to hang out - modern, spacious, and with a couple of interesting tea-related things to look at including a running video of tea harvesting and processing. As we were looking around, we noticed they have free tea tastings, but reservations look like they book out at least a few days in advance. Really impressed with this shop and will make a point to visit next time we're in the area.

Could it be due to the City of Oakland charging for parking on Sundays? The menu is like picture book of their tempting desserts. I ordered something simple, the E02- mixed fruit, chia w/ ice cream, and coconut sauce. Only one person was working behind the counter, so it took them 5-8 mins to serve my order. But my order was worth the wait, because it was fresh, cold and refreshing. Why 4-stars? The interior seems old and outdated. There were only 4-5 booths along the wall. The old Yelp photos show small tables down the center of the dining room. Those were probably removed due to social distancing. The largest table is a booth that seats up to six. It seems like this place should have a bar at the counter. Street parking.....meters are active on Sunday. Parking garage available
