While passing through Hayward & wanting a boba tea, T4 was one of the suggested places. I've gone to the one in San Leandro but not to this store. It was quite spacious, so I could see people studying or hanging out at this location. Service was done in person so bc it wasn't busy I was able to just tell the cashier my order. Unfortunately instead of her hearing I wanted the Rose Tea, she gave me the Roasted Oolong tea. I didn't bother to go back to correct it but next time would probably just order it from the kiosk. Order: Roasted Oolong Tea w/boba-fragrant oolong tea with 50% sugar & no ice was the right amount of sweetness, but I would rather have had the Rose Tea. Despite this order mishap, the service is great. I was even shown where to park when I come back next time. Just go across the street & you don't need to worry about a time limit. I thought this was very helpful info. So I'll be back to visit soon.
The roasted oolong milk tea is delicious and I added watermelon seeds! It's not too sweet so it's perfect! The Thai tea was good but the tea isn't too strong of taste. The service is pretty quick since there's a self serve kiosk.
Great location in downtown Hayward and open late, which is always a plus. The staff was friendly and super helpful, and the place was clean inside. They even have games you can play while you're there, which is a fun touch. I ordered the chocolate milkshake with 50% sweetness and almond milk--so good. Highly recommend!
Quickly / T4 not sure of the branding. Either way they make a delicious Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea, added Oreo for personal preference
I can't find rose milk tea in other places so I was over the moon when I saw that there was a T4 while I was walking. There was one in Castro Valley that closed a while ago. Since then I moved and I always kept my eye on finding rose milk tea but didn't have much luck. It was good I'm no expert on bobba tea but I found the flavor that I was looking for so that's great! I got 50% sweetness and it was perfect sweetness for me, not too sweet.
Ordered on DoorDash for me and some coworkers. Loved my drink order Taro Milk Tea w/ sea salt cream. My coworkers were happy with their drink orders as well. Popcorn chicken is good, I asked for a side of chili powder which wasn't given. I know when you go in person you put your own chili powder, but they should have a better system for people who order on DoorDash.
T4 is always my go to place when I want to get boba drinks. The staffs are nice and service is always great. Love the variety of drinks and food.
Service was amazing and they were so patient with me! Nice and spacious and it smelled amazing. I tried a new tea and the popcorn chicken! So glad I found a place that I can relax in. I'll definitely be back!
I decided to stop by to get a hot drink since it was cold outside. I didn't have to wait long after I placed my order since there were only a few people inside. My go-to order is The Earl Grey Milk Tea with Agar Pearl 50% sweet. The agar was super melted when the drink was hot, but once the drink started to cool down, the pearl was the perfect texture (super chewy). I have ordered this drink in the past, and from my memory, it was always chewy even when the drink was hot. Guess this means I will have to come back again to give this drink a try and do 0% sweet.
I stopped here on my way to the movies next door and it did not disappoint! I ordered popcorn chicken and it was cooked perfectly plus they had Sriracha sauce! The caramel milk tea tastes authentic and not powdery. It is also very spacious with 9 tables inside and restrooms available for customers. The employees are very kind and provide quick service. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in the area!
Ordered fried lobster ball, egg puff, popcorn chicken, takoyaki, fried squid, and taro milktea with honeydew popping boba for delivery. Decent snacks and drinks, nothing to rave about. Popcorn chicken didn't come with spicy powder. Tip: heat the egg puffs in the toaster oven to make them crispy.
It's been a few years since I've had T4. Not into it like I used to be. Walked in with my six year old niece because she was thirsty and wanted the Oreo drink and the strawberry lemonade for me. I returned 30 minutes later with my mom, my sister, and my seven month old niece past out in my arms because they were getting their nails done earlier. My niece started making moves on the new drinks lol. It wasn't busy Sunday afternoon which made the service fast.
T4 has always been one of my favorite boba places to go. We usually always order the same thing each time we go because we know what we like. I usually like to call in before I go, because their online ordering system is a little slow. I think ordering via phone or in person is faster. The staff is pretty friendly and their drinks always hit the spot. I always have to get the basil popcorn chicken when I go. They have the best popcorn chicken! I don't know what they put in there, but I know there are a lot of spices! My go-to milk tea is always the wintermelon, and my husband and son always get their favorites: pineapple slush and strawberry milkshake -- all with boba! I like that all the T4 drinks are consistent every location I go to! I also think the location is great...a little of a drive for me, but worth it.

I recently went to this T4 location before the movies and I had a pretty bad experience. The girl that took my order was so rude! She asked me if I wanted any topping in my drink and SAID no then she rudely said you don't want BOBA ?? I said no again and you can tell she was annoyed. If you are going to work in a place that COSTUMER SERVICES is key don't give attitude to customers.When I got my drink and said thank you have a good day she JUST LOOKS AT ME! I would understand if she ignored me because it was busy BUT THERE WAS only 5 people in the store and THERE WAS THREE EMPLOYEES! If you don't enjoy your job don't TAKE IT OUT ON CUSTOMERS please and thank you! ALSO I didn't have a chance to get the girls name but she work on 7/2/19 (night shift) she was white with short hair. I hope the next time I come here the manger has talk to the employees or retrain then on how to treat customers. read more

Clean, modern, great service! Lots of snacks to choose from including protein options like basil popcorn chicken and fried tofu. On the way to Marina Park, my friend, her nephew, and I had a hankering for tea & snacks to enjoy. Downtown Hayward was kinda on the way and I found a newly opened T4. Bright white and inviting high ceiling establishment. Many customers filled the 4 tops on Saturday afternoon. The line moved quickly and our cashier was social as can be with a "can do"attitude. I ordered a honey peach royal tea with grass jelly (no milk drink this time to avoid irritating my throat). Definitely tasting the honey notes. I would've gotten a French pudding milk tea with grass jelly otherwise. Good portions for snacks! Similar to the Milpitas location, they don't add enough basil in the popcorn chicken. I only found two! Fried tofu texture is like agedashi, lightly coated and fried. Panda milk tea looks like regular milk tea with a mix of white and traditional boba. My friends and I came here, because there was no other dessert places around, but I love Boba anyway, so this was perfect. Not small or big place, just right. Lots of space/seating. They have the menu on the wall, so you can easily see what you want to order. Basically, it's just a random Boba place on B St. across from Bijou. read more
Walking down B Street from my friend's house, I was surprised to see a T4. I told my friend about it and next thing you know we're there the next time I visited. We walked in on a Saturday afternoon and there was no line. We perused the menu on the wall and though I am used to iTea and other boba places, I still had no idea what I wanted. I ended up ordering the Okinawa Milk Tea with 30% ice. Since it is made with brown sugar, there is not a sweetness level to choose from. I highly enjoyed my tea and would order it again. My friend ordered an Elegant Rose Tea which also did not have a choice of topping or sweetness level. After having a sip, I enjoyed the aloe at the bottom but the drink itself was too sweet for either of us. My friend said she'd order my drink next time. The restaurant is clean. The condiments and napkin are above the trash can which is a little odd. There's board games available and we saw a few people playing them. The vibe was younger people between teens to 30s. read more

Hot mess of a place. Boba added to drink drowning in honey. Crusty old hand written signs at register, bathroom, napkin rack,etc. Nice amount of seating available. Nice skylight. Nice selection of drinks Several teas in jars on display. Very good avacado smoothie. read more

Out of the hundreds of boba tea places in the Bay, this is one of them. Seriously though, this place is just fine. Don't bother driving past other boba shops to get here unless you have a specific reason, bit there's nothing wrong with it. I actually do have a specific reason. These guys are the only place in the area that I've found have egg puffs. I dont get egg puffs often, but when I'm in the mood for them, it's a great snack and I wish more places had them. We tried the brown sugar boba, strawberry smoothie, egg puffs, and basil popcorn chicken. No problems with anything. All tasty enough and no issues. read more

I feel a little weird walking into this place and ~90% of the patrons are young enough to be my grandchildren. Oh well. The search for wonderful flavors & tastes knows no age boundaries! My unwavering drink of choice: A Large Matcha Latte w/small Boba, 30% ice.Rich, flavorful, frothy & creamy, and slightly sweet. Peete's has nothing on T4. I have tried making this several times at home to no avail. Just much easier to walk in, order it, and pay. Then enjoy. The T4 staff are wonderful. They are efficient, polite, and well mannered. They even announce my drink order w/it's exact specifications even before I arrive up to the front counter to order. Surprise b/c I come in maybe only 1x/month enjoy this guilty pleasure. 3.5 rating but rounded up. i had to dock a star because of their customer service. i've been to T4 ever since it opened in my area, and over time i have witnessed its customer service go down. the person who took our order was the only person working (taking orders and making the drinks), so major props to him. but he seemed very indifferent and cold when taking my order. he didn't ask me for my sugar or ice levels, and i forgot to add in my own preferences, so the drinks were alright, but that is also partly my fault. we arrived at around 4pm and were the first in line out of the wave that came after us but got our order last... maybe the chicken just took a lot longer to make? i accidentally misheard the number that he called out, and he seemed a bit rude when i approached him. he said "no" very sternly and lowkey shoo'ed me away... which made this whole experience a bit off putting. :/ now for our order: - jasmine MT w/ grass jelly: (4/5) the grass jelly was a good consistency. the drink was very smooth overall, but was a bit watered down. - royal honey peach tea w/ boba: (4/5) boba was too squishy, but the flavor was good. there was a good balance of tea taste with a fruity twist, but you couldn't tell it was a peach tea. - basil popcorn chicken: (4.75/5) great flavor and very juicy chicken!! there were many pieces and they were large! this definitely satisfied my cravings, but just lacked a bit of basil flavor (however if you don't enjoy garlic, i would not recommend this for you). i was pleasantly pleased with their reasonable prices. i'll come back next time for a quick and cheaper drink if i want something lighter. read more
Finally a boba place in downtown Hayward, but soooo sad it's this. The service is great. The cashiers are friendly and willing to answer any questions. The drinks are okay, at best. When you ask for less sugar, there is very little consistency. I've gotten something with 80% sweetness and it's tasted less sweet than when I got it as 50% sweetness. It's a bummer. The popcorn chicken has an interesting taste. It doesn't taste like the popcorn chicken you usually get. It almost tastes sour. Weird. We will most likely continue to come back to this T4 location simply due to proximity to our house. The one drink that has been consistently good here is the Honey Peach Smoothie. read more

A MUST TRY: wintermelon with salted cream and Boba. I try and get a different drink every time I come here because they have so many options, and this was a great choice! Extremely flavorful and the employees are very mindful of your sweetness and ice level. They are not stingy with the Boba or any other toppings you'd like to add, I always get a big scoop full. read more
SERVICE: Great! The crew is well informed re the products and friendly. TASTE: I had matcha latter with grass jelly , no ice and no sugar. Taste a little bit sweet still but overall taste is good. The matcha and milk ratio is perfect. Think the matcha latte and chicken popcorn of I-tea are better. PRICE and SERVING: okay price vis-a-vis the serving esp during happy hour. TIP: go during happy hours for flat rate regular drinks. Happy hour is usually one hour before the closing hours read more

REVIEWER # 5 T4! Congrats on your opening...but...I am so disappointed in you! I came during grand opening because I heard that all drinks were $2.00. I was happy to be able to see another boba spot in the neighborhood. However, that all changed when I actually walked in to the T4 and seen how chaotic it was! I know they just opened less than a week ago, so I will take that into consideration when writing this....Okay, let's go: PROS: -Walking in was like a kids playhouse! People everywhere! The word got out quickly! -There were good amounts of seating and I also enjoyed the board games that people had the option of playing as they enjoyed their drink. -Service was great! The staff were working there butts off making those drinks. -Menu is on the wall and is very easy to understand. They also have a visual on the different toppings that they offer! So many options! I love having choices! CONS: -The lines are so confusing! I walked in and was told that there were two separate lines. One line was to order and another to pick up your food. There should be footprints to guide customers because I was standing in line for 45 minutes and everyone was getting their food but me! -Speaking of 45 minutes, why is the wait so long!! OMG! I ordered one boba drink and some flour buns. Okay, literally...It took 45 minutes to get my drink and food and once I got the flour buns they were missing the condense milk that comes with it. The young guy at the counter said he would get me condensed milk ....and never returned! -The pickup line was so chaotic that people was angry and frustrated. I kind of felt bad because there were young teens that worked at the Cinemax and was coming to try out the place and had to take up their whole 15 minutes break to order and wait and had to leave without their boba. (Insert: emoji sad face). -They need a better pickup system. It was so disappointing to see drinks that were done being made and numbers were not even being called. The drinks and food just sit on the counter and the customers have to look for their food. Yikes! Feedback: Buy a mic and have one staff work on calling numbers out and freeing up some counter space so food is just not being left to get cold or snatched up! T4, I understand that you are still working out your kinks but I have to be honest and say, that it doesn't look like it was much planning for the grand opening and there are definitely some things that you can work out. read more

The hubs and I decided to check this place out to get something refreshing on a hot Memorial day. We ordered the Lychee Smoothie and the Watermelon Smoothie (which is currently their Summer special). Even though they call them smoothies, it's basically a slushie - fruit flavored blended ice. The Lychee was much sweeter than the Watermelon. The Watermelon tasted like they used real fresh watermelon. Both were delicious. It was very crowded and took more than 30 minutes for our 2 drinks. There was only one girl making the drinks. I think they need to hire more staff. They also offer a frequent visitor card. Buy 9 drinks and get the 10th for free! Make sure u ask for one if they don't offer it. I would definitely come back here to try their other offerings. Lots of people were ordering their popcorn chicken and fried tofu. A little boy at the table next to us commented that the chicken was too spicy for him. I like spice and can't wait to come back to try it! read more

Right now, T4 is having their soft opening now and their regular sized drinks are discounted (excluding toppings). I came here around 5:40 p.m. Inside, it was brightly lit, clean, and had plenty of seating (good for groups). They have a unisex single stall bathroom in the back, past the register. The bathroom was clean but has no mirror for some reason. I tried their classic rose milk tea which is one of their popular drinks indicated by the star symbol on the menu. You can adjust the level of sweetness and the amount of ice in your drink. You can also add toppings like boba or jelly. The drinks come in regular size (about 16 oz) and large. They also have hot snacks for you munch on (I saw someone order what looked like onion rings) if you like. My tea was made with 50% sweetness and 30% ice (because I don't like my drinks super cold and watery). My regular sized drink was under $3 which is a pretty good deal. The girl behind the counter was helpful and polite. The drink was made pretty quickly and they were already calling my number a couple minutes later. They had straws and to go drink sized bags on the counter. I took my drink to go. I was really impressed by how tasty the rose milk tea was! I can see why it is popular. I would definitely recommend it if you are a fan of anything rose flavored (like I am). I will come back for another one and maybe try out some of their other favorites. read more
Came in at 1022pm, they close at 1100pm... got to the counter and put my order for 5 wintermelon tea... first thing young girl with blond hair at counter does is turn around to the dude making drinks wearing glasses with hair in small pony tail "there is a lot of drinks" he ask how much and she tells him 5... (its literally the same drinnks with no topping... ) so after i finish my order she turns to him and says "oh its not bad, its all the same thing" uhh really! Right in front of the customer???? Whatevas rude much?!? Teach ur workers some damn manners and proper customer service!!! 2 star cus i love the egg puffs and the drink was good!! read more

Given that i've been to the T4 in San Leandro, San Ramon, i have to say this one definitely has the best service, quick, friendly, AND clean. I always order different drinks in a rotational order, (ex rose milk tea one week, matcha milk tea the next, etc) I don't think i've ever been disappointed in the drinks here, even when I order at 50% sweetness because I get what I order. Boba is always fresh/soft with a bit of chewiness. Their other toppings are also pretty good, like the grass jelly or pudding for those that don't like boba. Street parking can kind of be difficult around here, especially if you have a bigger car, but there's a parking garage nearby that you can park at for free! Downtown hayward looks like it's starting to come up, i'll probably be back to try other establishments as well as this one again. read more

Hayward FINALLY has a good boba tea spot. First off let me say that I'm not the biggest tea fan but T4 has a killer Thai Milk Tea. What I like about this tea place is that they freshly brew all of the teas to order and the teas don't have the powder taste that other tea places have. My girlfriend got the Earl Grey Milk tea and that was really good as well. When I ordered my Thai tea I ordered it regular on the sweetness scale and it good but it needed to be sweeter. I asked the staff if they can make it sweeter and without hesitation they fixed my drink with a smile. (I never had such amazing service like that at a tea place). The staff here is super friendly and always have a smile on there face. When you do order your drinks I highly recommend getting your drink extra sweet because sweeter is always better. What else is cool about this place is that they have a stamp card. After you buy 9 drinks your 10th is free. I love places like this. They also have board games and cards so you can chill and relax with friends and family. Great place to bring your friends and family. I can't wait for my next tea craving because I will definitely be coming here! read more
First time here! Winter Melon milk tea with boba was BOMBBBBB! The puff was super delicious!! After an hour the puff was still soft and did not harden. The food and drinks were on point but the service we received from the girl taking our order was not. We waited a long time for the puff roll which was no problem but when we asked how much longer it's going to take she literally did not respond, just rolled her eyes and went to the back....... like .... hello??? read more

I love this spot!!!! Open late and always friendly even within the last ten minutes of closing! Good milk tea and never disappoints. You have to snag a parking spot usually but I always come at night so it's not really an issue for me, my fiancé and I love T4. Great pricing and quality! Staff is really friendly and helpful. read more
