The interior is super cute! Totally beautiful! But unfortunately, it's not in a great location. The parking lot and buildings look pretty run-down and old. Honestly, I wouldn't have gone here if I weren't trying to find a new boba place. But I found this one on the (toogoodtogo) app and thought why not? To be honest, I probably wouldn't return because I didn't like the taste of the milk green tea I received. Not only did the flavor seem weird but I ended up going home and brewing more green tea to try to salvage the flavor. Nothing worked to make it taste better. Also, when I arrived, the drinks weren't ready. The server went to the back and quickly made them. I think they ran out of some surprise items because it was only 2/3 full and had a lot of ice. So even though I got two drinks, it was basically like getting one. I know the (togoodtogo) app deal is a surprise bag, so you don't know what you'll get, but I really wasn't impressed with mine. The lady in front of me had the same deal and received a beautiful-looking dessert and fruit tea that were filled to the top and sealed properly. Although the ambience is cutesy and girly, the drinks and desserts are a little disappointing. The drinks are sort of bland and the desserts are also a little bland. Nothing note worthy and memorable. Staff is nice and quiet, very polite. Small and tiny space; cutesy decor for photos, drinks and food are not very good. Not likely to return. The service was kind and attentive, and the ambiance was clean, modern, and inviting--perfect for grabbing a drink and unwinding for a bit. Reservation was easy to make. I had to reach out multiple times to confirm with the manager though... I never got the email to make my choices so I called the cafe then emailed her. It averages to about 60pp after tax and tip. What you see in the photo is one platter, you get two of those in an assortment of savory pastry desserts that you can choose from. Head over to their website to get situated but bear in mind that you'll need to peruse the menu beforehand. They have a normal adult menu in addition to a kids menu with smaller portions, more kid-approved items, and caffeine free drinks at a lower price. My kids are huge foodies (no surprise) so we opted for the normal menu items for them but any item can be purchased a la carte so if there's something you'd like to pair with your set, just make sure to order ahead of time. Each adult set comes with your selection of three items with some requiring an additional cost. Light enough to snack on but hearty enough to fill you up. Chocolate croissant - an option for "savory" despite it being a sweet in my opinion. The first batch that was served was a bit undercooked on the inside but it looked beautiful from the outside. They took them back to reheat and actually gave us a fresh batch while we waited. In addition to the three savory items, we also enjoyed the scones and sweets including macarons, tarts, cakes, and cheesecakes. Truly an amazing time for tea! Throughout the meal, we would empty our pots and ask for refills of tea. After we had our fill, we hung around a bit and took more photos. The staff were great and welcoming. Overall, K On The Go is no longer just a place to grab and go; with its leisure tea time and snacks, you'll be spending an afternoon here sipping and nibbling away. When they mean "K on the go," they truly mean on the go. We reserved high tea at this location and had a very disappointing experience. When we first arrived, we stood around waiting for someone to acknowledge us because the front desk was empty. We later discovered that the employee was sitting outside the café and did not come inside for over five minutes. Once seated, several of our teacups were chipped or broken. We then waited another 15 minutes without any service and had to flag someone down just to get water, which took an additional five minutes. Our pastries arrived about 30 minutes later, but our tea still had not been served. To make matters worse, one of the sandwiches had a bug in it. After bringing it to the staff's attention, it took another 15 minutes for a replacement to arrive, and there was very little apology or urgency shown regarding the situation. When we asked about the tea, we were told it was "steeping," so we waited patiently. Eventually, after we had already finished the savory pastries, we asked again and were then asked what tea we had ordered, even though all of the information was included in our reservation email. This made it seem like the order had been forgotten entirely. Throughout the experience, we constantly had to flag staff down for basic service. It felt as though we were inconveniencing them simply by being there, despite having made a reservation in advance. Every time we inquired about something, the response was simply, "We're busy." Overall, the service was inattentive and disorganized, and the food quality issue only made the experience worse. I like this place, I have had pleasant experiences with the servers. The decor is a little different from most boba places, kinda gives off Bridgerton/Tea Time vibes. I will say that the prices have gone up from when they first opened though :( but you do get a lot! I think the smallest size is 16 or 20oz? So understandable! First time here. Cute shop, BUT I wish I did not add boba to my drink. Ordered a fruit tea and a strawberry smoothie, each with boba, and both with 60% sweetness. At first, I thought, they don't give much boba. Then I drank it, and am so glad they didn't give me much. It was the mushiest boba ever! Maybe it's the end of the day and it's been sitting there the whole day, but if that's the case, they shouldn't even sell it. As for the sweetness, 60% is fairly accurate as the ice melts. This is another location of K On The Go at Union City. The place is much smaller compared to the one from Milpitas, but they do serve the same items as well as the Tea Party one. Not much of the difference in terms of atmosphere but it's still a good place to hangout. About the Dalgona Coffee, I like how there's three different textures each are probably ingredients. Obviously, when you mix it, that goes away. When I asked the staff about the drink, that doesn't sound much different from other coffees but in a way, it's not exactly the same or similar as the others. read more

Absolutely love K On The Go. I've been a regular since they've opened. Their drinks always hit. As someone who's lactose intolerant, I really appreciate how many dairy free options they have. My go to drinks are the fruit teas and slushies which are super refreshing. I also love their taro milk tea and Thai green milk tea. You can really taste the tea itself. Their seasonal drinks are always something fun to try too. Also, their boba is so soft and chewy. Their matcha quality is insane. They're known for their Vietnamese coffee but unfortunately I can't try it. Beyond drinks, the food is underrated. The banh mi is solid and satisfying and the macarons are such a cute treat to grab with a drink. The decor is whimsical and cozy. I'm excited to try one of their tea parties someday. UPDATE: I contacted the business privately via email on 12/16 to try to resolve this directly and did not receive a response Calling a paying customer a liar instead of addressing a legitimate concern is unprofessional. This DoorDash order included multiple drinks and was placed because my coworkers had recommended this location based on prior positive experiences. We consumed the drinks together at our workplace, which made the issues immediately apparent to more than one person. One mango strawberry slushie was excessively icy and poorly blended, and another drink contained a piece of paper inside the cup. After drinking the puff cream milk tea I felt nauseous and unwell shortly afterward. I have no food allergies. I work in healthcare and do not make claims like this lightly. If this had been a simple mistake, an apology or acknowledgment would have been appropriate. Instead, choosing to publicly call a customer a liar rather than address documented concerns raises serious questions about professionalism and accountability. I also find it important to clarify that I have been to this location previously. On a few occasions, I noticed ants near the napkin area. I chose not to mention it at the time because this is a mom-and-pop business, and I genuinely try to support local businesses rather than publicly criticize them. Unfortunately, this response and how the situation was handled leaves me wishing I had spoken up sooner. What is especially uncomfortable is that, rather than resolving the issue appropriately, the business chose to look up and view my personal social media accounts. That behavior feels invasive and further reinforces the lack of professional boundaries shown in this situation. I have never had these issues at the Milpitas location. I've been meaning to try this place for a while! I want to start off by saying my Banh Mi was super good. I was surprised, considering that they don't specialize in banh mis here by any means, but the bread was super fresh and all the elements of the classic banh mi came together super well. Far better than banh mis I've had from other chains like Lee's tbh! For our drink, we ordered a strawberry matcha latte, and unfortunately didn't like it. The matcha flavor was weak, and it tasted more like strawberry milk than anything. It was also a large portion (lots of milk), and I would have rather had a smaller drink with a stronger matcha concentration. Of course, the inside decor is super cute as you can probably see from the pictures. It's pretty small inside, but when we went 30 min before closing, there was only one other party sitting there, and they were able to serve us quickly so that we finished by closing time. This is a cute little cafe with a very cool vibe. It has lovely floral decor and comfortable chairs and couches to hang out on. This location is very close to a middle school, so I've seen plenty of teenagers hanging out here--playing cards, chit-chatting, and having a really good time. The place gives off a proper "girl tea party" vibe. Loved it! It's so comforting to see teenagers not glued to their devices but actually communicating like in the good old days. I ordered a banana matcha at 60% sweetness which usually would have been good for me at other places but here it just lacked matcha and banana flavor. Matcha was too milky and the banana cream had a subtle hint of banana. The cream was also very light and not as thick as I expected. After mixing the cream top with the matcha, it tasted just like banana milk with a tiny amount of tea. My drink was $8.50 so definitely on the pricier end. I appreciate my drink coming out immediately. It was ready as soon as I sat down after placing my order. Store itself is small and packed when I came in but very cute. Initially came here for a yelp elite event and was impressed by the quality of the tea and small bites so decided to book a tea party in honor of a friend's birthday. Responses were quick and informative, and each guest got to choose items from a savory menu (vegetarian options available) along with 2 hot tea flavors (unlimited refill) for the table to share. There are also assorted desserts displayed for each guest for their own "set," which was really aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate. When I had let them know we were celebrating a birthday, they made sure to decorate one of the displays with some birthday decor, a sweet and appreciated touch. We arrived to the tea party and there was plenty of parking still available in the shared but spacious lot next to the shop. There were a couple of other parties going on, but we felt like we had plenty of room and it wasn't too noisy. The food and tea were delicious, and the service was very accommodating as we ended up staying after we had finished eating to chat for a couple hours. Really appreciate the many refills on the tea! And the small bites were delicious. Overall, the tea experience here is pleasant, well-managed, and very affordable for what you get. I had such a lovely high tea experience here. The space is absolutely stunning and so cozy. Their high tea includes a variety of desserts, savory bites, and hot tea. I tried their rose and berries flavor which was yummy (if you like floral tastes you'll like this)! They recently upgraded their matcha. It was so smooth and has an umami taste. Highly recommend their coconut fresh matcha, the creamy matcha cream on top paired perfectly with the fresh coconut flavor. Their Vietnamese coffees are an absolute must try. Loved their Vietnamese egg coffee because it came with a creme brûlée top which made it so creamy. The staff said they do not have the girl macaron because everything was broken from their freezing process. I was given an opion for a character boy macaron, panda and lantern. I picked 2-pandas, in replacement of the 2-girl macarons. When I got to the cafe to pick up, I was informed only 1 panda was good as the others had broken ears, so I took 1 panda, 1 lantern and 6 heart macarons. I was also expecting a nice gift box which did not happen, I attached a picture here of the white big box (big for the macarons) where the macarons were placed. The box was not even firm enough to close properly so I dont know how they define "nice gift box" here. I was talking to one of the owners and she said that they are in the works of a Matcha Thai Tea, which I cannot wait to come back and try it.
