It's a bit of a drive from Sacramento due to the traffic because of the construction. It was worth the drive to try something new. I've never had this type of Taiwanese shaved ice before. At least I think it's Taiwanese. It was described as frozen milk shaved like shaved ice. It's very fluffy and not chunky like regularly snow cones you get at fairs and festivals. This shaved ices don't compare. I loved the texture of the shaved ice in our Mango Bingsoo(Regular). The shaved ice was covered with mangos and dressed with sweetened condensed milk. I wish there was a larger portion of the condensed milk to pour on top of the plain ice when you run out of mangos. The proportions mango to shaved ice was pretty spot on, though you could always use another layer or two of mangos. I just can't get enough mangos. Price- This was pretty pricy and I would say it's a special occasion type of place. In addition i Size- The regular was the perfect size to share with a friend. For two of us the large would have been too much. Restrooms- They have one unisex bathroom in back. Thankfully you don't need a code to go in. It was clean and well supplied. Entertainment- They have a bookshelf of games to entertain you and your friends as you enjoy your sweet treat. Parking- There is plenty of parking as they share a private lot with the shopping center. It's nothing like downtown Davis where parking is scarce and there is a time limit. Menu- they have a large menu, mostly of drinks. They have a smaller menu of desserts. They had several flavors of Bingsoo(Regular) including a seasonal peach, mango, and our friends got the one with red beans and rice cakes. I had a taste and it was really good also. Would I go back? Yes, for a special occasion.

It's green matcha foam on top, then this bright blue liquid and white/milk bottom. Once you mix it, it becomes a turquois color. It also taste really good. Refreshing coconut milk/water, subtle sweetness (70% sugar) and strong matcha. When you get to the bottom, you get the bits of coconut. I don't live near Davis but I would definitely come again the next time I am in the area.

This "Molly Tea" is not the same as the Bay Area's (no store listed in Davis on the official Molly Tea website) and is also known as "jasmine tea house" on Google Maps which confused me. Walking in there was a very unpleasant smell, almost like bleach/chlorine mixed with jasmine tea fragrance. (Not great!) We sat outside. However the drinks were not bad. Not as "presentable" as the authentic Molly Tea (no fancy straw or seal), but the osmanthus oolong milk tea was on par taste wise. Overall, it's a good "knock off molly tea" and satisfied our boba craving. It's good enough for Davis but def lacks the polish of real Molly Tea's.

I then got my order and it had the wrong cream topper which wasn't a huge deal and when I told the staff member that it was supposed to be a different topper she offered to dig her hand in the drink and replace it. When I obviously asked for the drink to be remade l, she rolled her eyes. I have worked in food service and I'm a student so nothing is ever that big a deal it just seems like maybe a rough day for that staff was affecting her attitude. Chicken Cutlet with meat sauce over rice: if we are getting at least two items, this is for sure one of them. Excellent flavor on the peppery batter on the juicy chicken and the meat sauce and pickled veggies are an excellent combination. 3. Zha Jiang Mien: First time trying it. Two of us liked it. May get, again, next time. We usually prefer the blacker Korean style sauce, but this was pretty good, too. 4. Beef roll: think thinly sliced beef with fresh veggies rolled up in an onion pancake.
