All they did was tell us what we could NOT do, which was no help at all. We'd called Verizon ahead of time, since we'd been this route before. Our Jetpack had failed AGAIN due to the swelled lipo battery, a common problem. As expected, we spent more than an hour on the phone to resolve the issue they could handled in less than 30 minutes, if they had been willing to do their jobs. We were taken better care of last year in a San Antonio Verizon store, where the employee knew it was just a matter of submitting an insurance claim and sending us off with a new Jetpack. She took care of the problem. There is definitely something wrong with the management here at the York store!

When the service rep tells you, you're good to go ask for a receipt. Otherwise you will get stuck in the hell of being charged for a product that you returned and no one has record of. This is when you really get screwed at T-Mobile making up $600+ charges per month. My mom paid the cell phone and all of the equipment off. They are still trying to solicit $600/month out of her. The funny part is the bill wasn't $600/month when the account was active. The store rep in Mechanicsburg told her she has no balance but yet that doesn't stop them from billing her. Today we are at another T-Mobile store trying to get the pin # to unlock the phone my mom paid off over 6 months ago. So if spending 6hrs/day 6 separate times and paying $600/month sounds great to you then rush in and sign up with this company. We are contacting the attorney general's office and then our attorney. We declined a protection plan for a phone, found out when we got home she added it anyway, we didn't want the internet service but she somehow forced that down our throats. Then she even went to go add a home protection plan on my mom's account when upgrading my phone! She didn't even tell us about that one just went ahead and signed us up for herself and signed for my mom! not to mention she told us that since i had the next up thing i can upgrade my phone for $2 a month, AFTER we signed and charged our card she then told us it would be $55 a month for the new phone. Never said why there was suddenly a $53 difference. We were given the wrong receipt so we don't know what she was tapping our card for- which she tapped it multiple times and never really specified what for even after we asked. When we were doing my phone i had one payment of $35, we said that's fine we'd pay it, she tapped the card. after that charge she said there was a $90 charge we needed to pay and that by tapping the card it would be the card used for autopay on the account. i am on my parents account who do not use autopay, we told her no we don't want autopay. she then said "it'll just be autopay if you don't pay your bill"... logged into the acc and she still set up autopay! THANK YOU! this whole time she was holding our card up in the air like it was being held hostage or something so im sure the other customers in the store could see my card info if they were looking. so now we are trying to fix the mess that she made because she went tap happy with the card and added whatever tf she wanted to. she also promised us a $100 gift card in the mail so let's hope that turns up. i don't recommend Kemily but im sure the other people are better!... hopefully.

They did, they had 1! In the exact color I wanted. I was pretty excited given everyone else was sold out. I went in a couple hours later and sat down with David Hernandez (on my sales receipt). He started ringing up the phone but midway through stopped and told me he can't sell this phone without a case and screen protector. I thought I didn't hear him right so I asked him to repeat and he then told me that he will not be selling this phone without some sort of accessory. He starts pushing cables and cases and warranty plans, the whole gamut. I told him I wasn't interested in any of that , I just wanted the phone. He then proceeds to tell me that he is refusing to sell this to me (which his manager backed him up on) unless I bought a case or something with it. We went back and forth for a few minutes until I said screw it. I wanted the phone and I knew it was the only one. If I wasn't so impatient, I wouldn't have purchased. The whole transaction was disingenuous as a "customer service" experience. I honestly couldn't believe they refused to sell me, a regular customer to this store, a phone because they feel they need to hit a quota of accessory sales. The kicker is my wife also was purchasing an iPhone 15 and needed a case, charging cable for the car, etc because she's going from an older style iPhone with lightning connector. The unethical treatment of customers at this location is abhorrent. If they did it to me, I'm sure they've done it to less fortunate customers as well. Secondarily to this, the new phone was set up under my wife's number and not mine which forced me to be there for an hour longer than necessary, interrupted my wife's service, and made me have to go through a multitude of transactions for something that should have been very simple. Honestly, I don't even know if everything was done correctly and am verifying it with Verizon to make sure. At the end of the day, I know mistakes are part of human nature and this could have been an easily overlooked issue, but the sheer disrespectful and unethical treatment and selling tactics used for a lousy accessory is what I'm the most upset over. For this, I highly recommend going ANYWHERE else other than this cellular sales Verizon location.
