Okay so Battery Plus was bought out and under new ownership! Went in for a Key Fob battery. Ended up getting a lifetime warranty! What ticked me off after I had them put a battery in my key fob the sales associate just signed me up for the lifetime warranty program! Didn't ask, didn't present the option ahead of time! I work retail and actually I worked at Battery Plus under different owners! So this method of selling a lifetime warranty is BS! Not sure if I'll be returning to this location again! I don't like sleezy sales selling me something that wasn't offered or explained! Owners you should discuss the sales methods to your associates! The old owners were all about customer service! Strongly suggest avoiding this business for all repairs. I asked for a screen replacement on a Pixel phone. I also asked if they used OEM parts, to which they said yes. They replaced the screen, and brought it to me to validate. The edges of the screen were squishy. (easy sign of improper adhesive application) They took it back to the bench, opened it again, and added adhesive. The manager brought me the phone a second time to validate. The digitizer (touchscreen) no longer worked at all. They returned it to the bench a third time. Opened it, re-seated the primary ribbon cable (it was not seated properly), and put it back together. (Hint: that's 3 times assembling the phone with the same adhesive that's single-use.) They brought me the phone again. The upper edge of the screen no longer seated into the casing properly. I asked to verify the screen was a new OEM screen. The manager found the package for the screen, and it was a refurbished third-party screen, confirming they lied about the parts they use. The manager also confirmed they did not use OEM adhesive to attach the screen, they used strips of 3M tape. I asked for my broken screen back with my repaired phone, and the manager refused to provide it. At this point, I realized they had no trained technicians in the shop, including the manager. I had to disassemble the device myself at home. The adhesive applied by Batteries Plus technicians was a disaster - bunched, uneven, rolled up, and missing completely from the corners. The adhesive must be a perfect seal, or the device will gradually fill with moisture and particles. The technician had also damaged the "new" refurbished screen they installed, bent 2 of the metal edge clips flat, and broken the seal between the digitizer and the display on the top edge (which is why it wouldn't seat in the casing). I had to repair the device from scratch myself, purchasing a new OEM replacement display from Google, as well as OEM adhesive. This is not a shop of trained technicians, it is a shop of amateurs managed by liars. Caveat emptor. read more

OUTSTANDING - UNPRECEDENTED - The adhesive holding the back cover to my Samsung S 20 failed. No "service" needed, just adhesive. One place near by wanted $60 to reattach the back. I called BP adn spoke to will. I described the issue. He replied bring it on by...we probably won't even charge you. I brought it by. I enjoyed a brief conversation with a young lady employee while Will did the job. As we were talking, Will returned, handed me the phone and said "have a nice day." this is the second time that I have gone to the store for a phone screen repair. Huge shout out to Hannah and Ariel for their outstanding customer service. I arrived at 11 AM, and they told me it would be approximately an hour and a half to two hours. They actually called me after only 45 minutes and told me the phone was done. Took my 9 month old iPad-9 to have the broken screen replaced. Both customer service and repair quality were lacking. They replace the screen within 3 days, but in the process broke the 'Home' button. Over the next 4 weeks, I visited the store several times for status, and was always told 'we will call you' but never received any calls or outreach from the store about my device. They charged me over $200, but the fingerprint recognition could not be repaired, and the device repeatedly turns itself off after about each 3 minutes of use. These problems were definitely not present when I took the device to be repaired. Should have just bought a new iPad, which is what I ended up doing anyway. read more

Surprisingly, this place is by far the least expensive place for most quality bulbs. Yes you can get the Dollar Tree LED bulbs but they don't last very long. Fluorescent bulbs are way cheaper here than Walmart and you can save 10% if your order online or are a veteran. Nice and easy process for picking up online orders. The staff actually know how to find what you need which is helpful these days. Highly recommend for home and business needs. read more

I needed to get an oddly specific bulb for a salt lamp. I had the package from a previous time I had purchased said item. The guys searched high and low for it, as their computer said that they had an ample supply on hand. Unfortunately, they could not find any in the store. One of the young men called their corporate office to explain the entire situation. The person said that it definitely was in stock at the store. Three gentlemen once again searched high and low for it. Once again, no luck. As the clerk was about to end the call, he asked if there was a suitable substitute item in stock. Customer service was able to inform them on a substitution. The young clerk got the bulb for me. Got it home to test it out--perfect Long story short, these young men went far above and beyond for me. They easily could have dismissed me and said that they didn't have the item. However, they made me feel like royalty for a seven dollar replacement item while a stream of steady customers came in the store. read more

I'm totally disgusted with my experience at this store. I purchased a new battery for my phone because the charge wasn't lasting as long as it should. After Batteries Plus installed the battery and handed the phone back they managed to tell me the phone for ever more would display "non OEM battery ". Overnight I charged the phone. The next day my phone was drained by midday. At this point I decided to just trade my phone in for a new one. I went back to Batteries Plus and asked for my old battery back. After a lot of pushback they finally did a halfhearted look in a box. Then I was told the battery was already recycled (less than 24 hours after I purchased it). I asked for my money back and was refused. I asked to speak to the manager. I was given a piece of paper with the managers number on it. The parting words from the clerk were "shit happens". The manager never answered my call. I know they had a heads up from the clerk. I called the 800 number for Batteries Plus. The agent was very understanding and promised to contact this local franchise and then call me back. It never happened. Now I am stuck with a phone that Verizon will never accept on a trade in because it has a non OEM battery. I paid Batteries Plus $75 for a useless battery and then $85 for an Apple battery from an authorized dealer so I could trade my phone in. This store only told me about the OEM notification problem after they had installed their non OEM battery. Poor service up front. Highly unprofessional service afterwards. Never again. read more

Paid over $300 dollars for a new key cutting and programming, waited for over 45 minutes before the woman in charge who was apparently training a new employee throughout the entire process told us she was unable to do it and couldn't give us any other information or help. They were going to let us walk out having paid over $300 for a key fob that after almost an HOUR of waiting would not start the car. The three young men working the store, on May 15, 2022, were absolutely amazing! One young man- I don't know his name- went above and beyond to assist me with a head light bulb change. When doing so, he noticed excessive corrosion on my battery and took care of it for me. I highly recommend this store. Went to Batteries & Bulbs looking to get a much needed 2nd key made for our 2012 Toyota. My son and I were greeted by 2 nice polite young gentlemen and received great costumer service. Jarred spent over 2 hours cutting and reprogramming the spare key. He didn't give up and reached out to his manager for assistance. Key worked ignition but not the door. Since they were getting close to closing, he told me come back if it doesn't work after using it in door over the next week. I called back 2 weeks later and was told to come back. Had a very difficult car battery to replace. First off, got a pretty good price on the battery. Secondly and much more importantly, Patrick was intent on making sure the replacement was done correctly. It was freezing outside and Patrick continued to work hard to get the previous battery out. It was very difficult but in the end, it happened. I was and am very appreciative. Patrick absolutely went above and beyond. This experience absolutely makes me think about Batteries Plus Bulbs FIRST the next time I need something. Fantastic! read more

LOVE this place! I was nervous to repair my phone (especially since companies make you afraid to) but Shane, Tristian, and Jordan were so helpful and knew exactly what they were doing. I wasn't even expecting my phone to be done so fast especially because I needed a new screen AND battery (on iPhone 6S),, but it only took an hour! I also wasn't expecting to get my phone fixed the same day, I thought I'd have to schedule a day or so in advance but I scheduled it same day for like a few hours after I went online (ALSO got that $10 coupon which was nice.) I'm definitely gonna come back to these guys if I break anything else, they're knowledgeable, super fast, and give amazing customer service. Thank you again guys! NEVER entrust Batteries & Bulbs with the repair of a cracked iPhone screen. While there are signs all over the store promoting their ability to repair damaged screens, they are unable to perform the repair in the time frame indicated and their technicians are substandard. This is obviously a secondary business for them and they treat it as such. Not only did the rep not even look at the phone for the hours that they had it, but when she final did attempt to replace the screen she further damaged the phone. No management was available in the store or by phone and the store personnel are sorely lacking in all aspects of customer service. read more

I am appalled at the customer service I received at this establishment. I purchased a $12 light socket and installed it that evening. I didn't like the way it worked and quite honestly wasn't even sure worked as it should. I returned it 2 days later in the same packaging - granted the packaging had been opened since you had to open it to try the product! I was told point blank that I could not return it for a refund because it had been opened. I could exchange it but not get a refund. They actually made me feel like I was a criminal for wanting to return the item. I checked the company website and no where does it say you can not get a refund on a product! I called customer service at there corporate office and has been no resolution there as well. I will be reporting to the BBB. I actually occasionally buy battery back up replacements through them under my companies business. That will never happen again and warning anyone else about this poor excuse for a Retailer. I came in for a free battery test and found that my battery was nearly dead (as suspected) so Caleb showed me my options for a replacement and he replaced my battery free of charge.
