I took it to a couple of Apple-authorized places in Camp Hill and York, and they said they could no longer get the batteries from Apple. So I bought a battery on eBay, but those same places said and they wouldn't install an "outside" battery. I brought my phone and new battery into I-Cell Repair, and the guy said "No problem". He installed my new battery while I waited, and he even invited me to watch him do it. It took him less than 20 minutes, and I'm thrilled to once again have a phone that lasts the whole day. This was easily a 5-star experience.

CONSUMERS BEWARE I would avoid dealing with this Verizon…read morelocation. Their sales tactics are less than professional and I dealt with Jordan Hess, the owner. I am a Verizon customer with three phones on our plan and I went into this location to see if I could get a simple phone with just a limited amount of minutes on for our current caregiver to use in case of emergency. There was a new employee working and she didn't know what to suggest. The owner jumped in to offer a phone that was about $140+ and indicated this phone could just use some of the minutes on our plan. I indicated I did not want to pay that much and had thought about just getting a basic phone I could add minutes to as needed, which I thought could be purchased at Radio Shack or other locations. The owner said he may have a phone to offer me for about $30. It was made perfectly clear that I may not need this longer-term. Three months later when we call Verizon to have the phone removed from our plan, as we are now paying $38 a month to have it on the plan and it is no longer used, we were informed that I was put on a two year contract. I could have either purchased the phone for the $140 or so, or taken the two year plan and I was put in the two year plan!! Neither of these did I want. I went into the store to talk to Jordan Hess, the owner, and he was not in and was told he was very busy opening up other locations. I asked that he call me so I could discuss this. Three weeks went by and I received no call. I called the store and was told they would definitely have him call. A few days later my husband stopped in the store and the employee told him there was nothing that could be done because we agreed to the two year plan. I signed the paper in the store after Jordan seemed to find the inexpensive phone that would work for me. In fact he likely took the same phone that was $140+ without a two year plan and he gave me the other alternative of about $30 with a two year plan. This was quite a manipulative and misleading sales tactic. If you want honest service I would suggest finding another store that is not owned by Jordan Hess.

Amidst lies in…read moretheir reply to my Google review (proven via the text and call logs attached) they have accused me of being "angry" because they couldn't get to my PC fast enough. The only reason I was "angry" is because he spoke to me like I was an idiot, claimed he did nothing wrong, claimed 60 degrees celsius was normal, and generally avoided accountability. He has also failed to communicate properly, saying he'd get back to me and never texting back, then becoming passive aggressive when I checked in. Additionally, he searched for my new CPU on Amazon, rather than using Newegg or any other dedicated parts search, and ordered a CPU that would be completely incompatible with my system AND the motherboard he had ordered. If I hadn't caught the incompatibility, I might still be without my PC. Again, I had no issue with the fact that a mistake occurred. In fact I would have been gracious had accountability been taken. It was his communication over the phone on Sunday that led me to take matters into my own hands. No matter who discovered the issue, Compucare Technical Services was blatantly unprofessional and frankly frustrating to deal with on multiple occasions. Additionally, he tried to offer me $100 cash when I said I would be changing my review this morning. And the agreement referenced in his reply states that I must allow them opportunity to rectify the issue before issuing a *credit card chargeback,* which has not happened. CTS has yet again contacted me, despite me specifically asking him not to, and continued to berate me as a result of my review of my bad experience.
