Had my computer die on me and I had many personal files on the hard drive that needed transferred to a new external drive. Quoted price was excellent (compared to G Squad) and they had it done the same afternoon! End result was excellent with great friendly service at more than fair price! Stopped by on a road trip to get an iPhone diagnosed and repaired. Josh checked to make sure he had parts in stock before we made our detour. Everything was done in 15 minutes well we walked around downtown. Great service, very friendly and a very fast turn around. read more

My screen of my wife's iPad Pro was completely demolished. I was worried the entire iPad would need replaced as it took a big hit, but Josh reassured me that he was over 95% sure it'd be fixable. A couple days later (quicker than he quoted) the iPad was fixed and looked better than ever. read more

Established in 2016.

We have been repairing cell phones, tablets, computers and other electronics for over fifteen years. After four years of co-owning a repair shop out of town, the need for a local electronics repair shop was realized and Gadget Lab was born. Gadget Lab opened in Camp Hill in 2016 and, after outgrowing our location there, we have since moved to a larger shop in Mechanicsburg. We look forward to helping you with all of your electronics needs for many years to come!

So of course I dropped my phone face down on the ground in the one un carpeted area at work. It didn't sound catastrophic so I wasn't TOO worried, but lo and behold, it was broken and broken in the way that every touch of the screen was a possible painful papercut. I googled phone screen replacements and I can get my own new screen for around 45 dollars. I can get my own tool set for replacing screens for anywhere from 10-30 bucks, I can just watch a 7 minute video and do it myself!!!! Or I can take it to UBREAKITIFIXIT and have it fixed in a couple hours. Sure it cost a penny (over 10000 pennies) but it got fixed, they were nice, they give a 10% military discount and I have a fixed non finger damaging phone. It does feel like each text is a bit more effort, not sure If I need to adjust something or what. Oh yaa, and you can go online and make your apt, and get a pretty accurate estimate relatively painlessly.

Victor assured me he could have it done that day, for a very reasonable price. I took my laptop to him around 11 AM, with the battery. He had it working and called me a little later. The technician answering the telephone was very pleasant. He gave me a choice of times. The initial time was later that same day I called! Another time was given in the event that the technician was unable to make the timeframe I first chose. The technician then later called to ask if he could come early!!! YES! He came out, explained thoroughly what the code mean and what he felt the issue was and fixed it immediately. He also explained another issue the code could mean but thought that it was only the fan issue and not a coolant issue. So he fixed it quickly and ensured I knew to call him should the issue reappear. I was very pleased with the honesty and integrity of the men in this company. They chose to do their business in honesty, not overcharging for service not necessary. Because I am an older woman, many companies seem to try to take advantage and overcharge. NOT THIS COMPANY!!! CALL THEM! I now have a fully functioning refrigerator that has been going strong. The whole cost was less than $100. The technician even gave me information on what to ask for at Home Depot/Lowes to fix the issue of re-hooking up the water line after the water line was moved during a downstairs complete remodel.

Screen was fractured on my Samsung S9 phone after a drop. Called Gadget Lab and spoke with Josh. Came in on a Wednesday to go over screen options. Prepaid for repair. Part was ordered and received Thursday. Dropped phone off Friday at 11am. Estimated 2-3 hours for screen replacement and adhesive cure time. Josh called at 4pm and had my phone repaired and looking brand new by 4:30pm. Very pleasant to deal with and wonderful to have a shop that can fix a wide array of devices and is local. Josh is simply amazing. I had a brand new Moto G5 Plus phone into which SD Card was stuck (as it was inserted the wrong way in the SIM tray). Josh gave me a great price and pulled out the SD Card. On top of that - the SD Card itself works very well. After all this - we noticed that the SIM trey won't go inside the phone. Though the phone was new Motorola (in Carribean I think, not in USA) had refused to honor any warranty as they claimed it was my "fault" for inserting the SD card the wrong way! I took my laptop to Gadget Lab to get a tune up. Although it wasn't very old, it was taking 10 minutes to start up and kept freezing. They were able to quickly diagnose the probable causes and put solutions in place. Now my computer works like it should again! My 1 yr old son knocked my phone out of my hand and the screen shattered when it hit the floor. I found Gadget lab on google. They had the part in stock, and did the repair while I waited with my son in the waiting room. The price was reasonable. Within half an hour my phone was working again. Good gem to find for technology repair. Repaired an iPhone screen while I waited. He also discovered my last repair had actually broke the light sensor that shuts the screen off so your ear doesn't dial numbers while you're talking. Good work, knowledgeable tech and reasonable prices. read more
