We visited this store yesterday afternoon. "Sage" greeted us upon entering and assisted us promptly without delay. He proved to be an exemplary associate and truly knowledgeable as well. He answered questions, presented our t-mobile Tuesday SWAG, and our interaction with this exceptionally professional representative - reminded us why we remain so invested in T-Mobile! His style of customer service is a "level-up" from that which is offered via competitors. There is only ONE T-Mobile. Thank you for always being our "go-to" store location for any phone service, internet need/desire, or support. This store is also well-stocked with plenty of merchandise for sale on display. Terrible experience. I bought a Space Black iPhone 14 pro max here and they shipped me a deep purple. I immediately returned the iPhone after spending an hour with customer service, and they re-ordered the right color for me. Now it turns out the phone won't be delivered for 2 MONTHS?? It was such an easy job to order the right iPhone, and they butchered it. I bought the device specifically for a trip that now I won't have it for. They are a terrible service company when it comes to payment. If you pay early in a schedule arrangement you will be charged double.

There used to be a time - circa 2014 that this place was a great drop in to get questions answered, upgrade phones, add a line, etc. The last 3-4 times I've gone in, I'm usually met by a guy with dreads who is unbelievably rude. It's very clear that my business is not good enough so I've ventured to the Tmobile store at La Cumbre. The team there is ALWAYS FRIENDLY and helpful (don't bother going to Goleta either - their service is just as bad as Paseo). I no longer bother stopping in - I've learned that even if they have an item in stock, I rather have the La Cumbre store order it for me and expedite shipping. Waiting a couple of days is worth the expense of being treated so poorly at the Paseo store. read more

Worst experienced of my life. I never felt so stupid before. Antony the sales associate mislead me into a plan that cost me way more. He offered to pay my balance from att if I transfer my lines to T-Mobile and on top of that another $200 for every phone I upgrade with them. So I did transfer my lines there with an open balance of $1,002.05 form Att. He told me a pre paid card with the balance will come on the mail within 5 weeks. I wasn't interested in upgrade my phone. The deal was good enough. But I asked my kids to come over the store and talk to Antony to put the new chip on their phones. He took advantage and upgrade their phones without my permission. Asked him why and he told me was good deal because on top of the deal that I had before now I will have a $200 for each phone I upgraded. This credit will come on my bills as a credit, a little amount every month until the $400 is credit. Sounds great, isn't it? No way is all a SCAM!!!! So far 6 months has passed and nothing came. My bills is very confusing every month. And I just found out that Antony switched my plan that would give me a $1,002.05 credit into a plan that gives me $400.00. Again worst store I've ever seen. My experience was awful! I rolled up on a very informal business. The boys who worked there where dressed funny in weird looking black and hot pink shirts ... the music playing was embarrassing... "boo'd up"... come on? That's professional? The guy Anthony was a dirt ball, his nails were so gross ... I wanted to say something so bad and then could barley even be next to him! I've never had anyone around me with MORNING BREATH in the late afternoon .. it was so nasty! I went in considering a change in carrier and the customer services was so awful and all I could picture was walking into this place. You walk into ATT or Verizon and your greeted by young and older agents with professional attire and clean demeanor. The music is appropriate and meets the needs of all crowds... what a shame... no wonder it's cheaper ... it's customer service and employees were just as cheap looking. read more

Confirm phone is a lemon. Tell me cannot get new phone 14 days had passed even though I brought in 14 days with same issue earlier in week. Manager, Joe, indicates he simply doesn't care & writes that message in my complaint statement. He literally wrote 'I don't care' in my write up of scenario. Wow. For the first time, I am proud to write a positive review on a T-Mobile store. I came in to upgrade my phone from the 6 to 6s, as well as adding my boyfriend on to my plan. First things first, customer service was absolutely superb.. We were immediately acknowledged by Mark (despite the crowd and high demand of customers), who was super knowledgeable and helpful. Will helped streamline the process, who was patient, kind, and defined the true meaning of customer service. We each just walked out with brand new iPhone 6s, hooked up with case and bundle deals.... I went in today to get a new phone off contract since I'm a prepaid customer and the experience was pretty straightforward and easy. I was helped by Alex who asked me some questions and told me if I pay for my next month's service in advance I could get a discount on the phone. I agreed, he grabbed the new phone out of the back, and I paid. After leaving I remembered I wanted to get insurance for the phone so I went back in to find Alex helping another customer. I was helped by Katie (or Katy, I can't remember the spelling), paid in cash, and left. Overall I'm very happy with the service and experience. read more

When I first walked into the store, I was greeted with a warm welcome! They asked how they could help and I didn't have to wait a second. That's never happened to me before! I've been with AT&T for the last 6 yrs and it took the associates there at least 5 minutes to get to me. At AT&T they all hang out in the back, or in the front and pretend they are doing something. At this T-Mobile store that wasn't the case. Everybody was greeting the customer as soon as they walked in the door. All the employees were hard at work and not one of them was standing by themselves or playing on any of the phones. I'm an old AT&T customer coming over to T-Mobile for the first time. My wife was also with AT&T and we wanted to switch providers to save money and get the unlimited data. They had a great deal that saved us $60/month for both phones, plus my wife got a brand new iPhone 6. We went in to the Paseo store with what seemed like a confusing task and the associate that helped us (Marcos) made the process easy and convenient. It turned out that they didn't have the iPhone my wife wanted in stock, so while it was on order they gave her a loaner phone while she waited for it to show. We had to give her old phone to a friend of our's and they gave us the loaner phone at no charge! Marcos was more than courteous and very eager to help. I had some trouble with AT&T providing the unlock codes and he got right on the phone to solve that problem for me. He called me back when it was done. The customer service here was top notch. I arrived at this retailer at around 6pm, and left at 6:35pm on Thursday 3/29/18, because Katie G. (backwards hat on) decided not to attend to me and my sister. We waited patiently for assistance to buy two phones. As a new customer, I am appalled that I would be treated in this manner; especially because Katie immediately attended to the WHITE PEOPLE seconds after entering the door. I felt discrimination since I am not in fact white or look white and was left standing there. I went to a different retailer where they took my business and they got their commission. I will not be returning to this T-Mobile. I'm glad there are other T-Mobile representatives that have a can do attitude at all times regardless of what their customers look like. read more

Definitely one of the best customer care I've experienced in awhile. Clean overall store and greeted when I walked in (never had that at a T-Mobile before). Came to me right away and asked what my visit was for and even told me how long it would be before I'd be attended. They were able to get me the help I needed and looked for a solution and overall calmed my frustration over a certain product. I went into the T-Mobile store to possibly switch my service from Sprint because I feel like i'm paying a lot for a service that I really don't need, but I would like to give Kudos to the associate Dahrian Blockman who helped me out. Her customer service and contract details knowledge was exceptionally great. There were a few hick-ups in the process of finding out what the cost would be for me to switch over due to the company credit processing department. So due to that issue and my timing coming into the store, it took a total of two days, more than 3 visits to the store to get me numbers that weren't conducive to what I was looking for as far as cost on my over transition. Gabe at this location was so helpful when I brought a senior friend in to have her account better secured after her phone was stolen by someone known to her, and again the next day when having a recent iPhone of mine switched over until hers might be returned. I used to love this store, but since the new T-Mobile leasing programs, I now detest walking near this facility. The staff are kind and very attentive to customer service shopping needs, but only shopping. Returns, billing, leasing, trading-in, switching companies, all used to be really easy, but now its not. The company is now segmented, so investigations have to take place which take over 90 days. Recently my bill was $972.00, because of a leasing mistake. All-in-all, I do not recommend all to stop on by and give this place a try! read more

Wanted to buy a new phone from T-mobile because I have heard very good things. Things changed shortly after I went to this T-mobile store located at Paseo Nuevo a few days ago. I was helped by a younger man named Ken. He was extremely condescending every time I asked a question and he answered so rudely like he didn't even want to be at work. I was SO shocked! Maybe he just doesn't like female customers very much, as I was not rude at all, just interested in buying a new phone. Needless to say, I will definitely not returning nor paying money to T-mobile because I don't support a business that employees such rude people and neither will anyone of my friends after this incident! Would give no stars if I could. Walked in to get a new iPhone 6s. The refused to sell it to me without me buying an accessory (a $40 screen saver). Said it was the policy of THAT store, which is nonsense. I walked out and called customer service who verified you did not have to purchase an accessory. I thought this was a great place when I first signed up because they had cheaper rates than other wireless providers. However, I recently cancelled my account and got an iPhone through a different provider. I had been paying month to month and also making monthly payments on the android I had gotten back in 2011. When I went to the store to cancel I asked what I owed and the girl that helped me said it was only last months service payment of 80something dollars, I asked if I owed anymore money on the phone because I didn't think I had fully paid it off, she said no you don't. So I thought everything was taken care of. Well a couple weeks later I receive a letter that says I owe so I call tmobile to make the payment for the service the last month and the lady over the phone informs me I owe 250 something for an early termination fee! I was never under contract and she tells me I also owe $60 on the phone. I had a feeling I owed on the phone so of course I'm ok with paying that off but I never signed a contract. Luckily this woman on the phone was smarter than the store employees so she put me on hold while she checked into this issue. To my relief she was able to see that with my service plan I was not supposed to be under contract and so she removed that from the final bill. My point is these employees need to be better trained so that they don't mislead their customers! Don't trust what the employees here tell you. Make sure that you keep all of your paperwork. read more

They told us we had to CANCEL our plan on our own, THEN ask for a code to unlock our phone if we want to switch from AT&T to T-mobile. They said it meant we would go without a phone for up to 5 days.
