Gary T. in the computer section was condescending and had an attitude with my friend and I who were…read morebrowsing laptops. I have had another previous negative experience with Gary a few months ago when my friend was attempting to purchase a phone, so when I saw him approaching us today, I was very apprehensive about what our experience would be. To say the least, we were displeased. He initially asked us if we would like any assistance and we politely declined. Once we were looking at a laptop in more detail, he appeared and proceeded to tell us about a laptop that was on sale and asked us if we were interested. We decided to agree to look at the laptop to which he replied that he didn't have it on display, it was only for sale. We politely declined again and stated that we would just continue to look on our own. He then asked what type of laptop we were looking for and then proceeded to read us the specs from the label of the laptop we had just looked at. He started getting frustrated that my friend wasn't sure what she was looking for and started to speak to us in a demeaning manner, stating that he has 40+ years of experience in computers, and that she probably knew nothing about them and that he knows more than us. At this point, we told Gary yet again that we were not sure what we wanted since we literally just happened to stop by to browse laptops for her. We were leaning towards a specific laptop that we had briefly seen online and had almost moved forward with purchasing while we were there, but the customer service we received resulted in us leaving the store without purchasing. I would like to note that all other associates were kind and friendly towards us.

I came to this Target location needing assistance in the Tech department. When I asked for help,…read morethe manager, Samantha, told me to find someone else because she was "busy." I decided to wait nearby for a few minutes before looking for another employee, and during that time I noticed she began yelling at another employee. I then processed to get help from someone else, after spending about five minutes walking around the store trying to find someone to assist me, I decided to returned and ask Samantha again for help with an iPad. She rolled her eyes, did not acknowledge me, and reluctantly proceeded to grab the item from the back. At that point, I decided not to purchase the item, which was valued at over $700, because of the poor customer service experience. This type of behavior is unacceptable, especially from someone in a management position. Customers and employees should be treated with professionalism and respect. I would rather drive to a different Target location and spend my money elsewhere than return to this store. Very disappointed with the customer service at this location.
