Amazing customer service experience, I'm so upset I've been traveling to another store (very difference experience), and had forgotten about the Madison location. When I entered the store, a nice gentlemen (didn't get his name ugh) greeted me immediately and said someone would be with me shortly. Maybe 60 seconds later, Mo came over to greet me and checked me in. Less than five minutes later, Michael (and Mo) came over to begin my service. To my horror and utter embarrassment, I've been riding dirty siding the city...my driver license expired two weeks ago!! Poor Michael kept trying to scan my DL to begin the transaction and it took a minute to figure out what the problem was. Michael went to speak with the manager Bruce, who was immediately apologetic, explaining that (current) government ID validation is a requirement to begin a transaction. The cherry on top: Michael said he would call me in about two weeks to see if my new license had been received and if so, I could tell him the color of phone I wanted and he would hold it while I head back to the store. WORST customer service you can imagine! They don't let you in until they find out what you need and make sure you're the primary account holder. If not - they don't even let you in!!! I called T-Mobil to order new phones today and waited on hold for 2 hours. They couldn't find the phones I needed, so they called the local stores and contacted this store at 4071 Madison ave. and they said come in and they will order my phones. That was a lie when I got there they said they order from the same warehouse as T-Mobile online. So they said they will try and order me phones but I needed all my phones with me to do it. Which was a bait and switch. Because I called prior to going in and they said I didn't need to bring in my phones with me if I was just going to have my phones shipped to me. I believe they were just trying to get me in the store and sell me something I didn't need or want. I will never visit this T-Mobile again. I went there with my son who has ASD and global delay disorder. Due to his developmental delays/sensory issues he has trouble keeping a mask on. I tried to explain this to one of the associate,Bruce, upon being asked to put a mask on my son before entering and they did not care. I got told it was " company policy " when it is within CDC guidelines for special needs to not where a mask of it is going to hinder them. I left and went to the other T-Mobile on Howe and Arden and had no issues with this there. I unfortunately had to go back to this T-Mobile on Madison Avenue to fix a phone issue the same day and did not take my son. I tried to explain again the issue and the same associate was there. I explained how my sons disability falls within the CDC guidelines and I had no issues at another store and Bruce says to me " well they might have let you in but they shouldn't have " I explained how this is discrimination against a four year old with a disability. He didn't seem to care much or show any concern he had offended a valued customer. I have never been treated so poorly at a T-Mobile establishment before today. On another note Sonny at the Howe and Arden store along with his crew working today made us feel very welcomed and did not look at my son any differently than any other child. They even offered to put cartoons on him while I shopped. I understand fully " company policy " but this was unacceptable. We have never had this issue before today anywhere at any store. read more

Full disclosure: I'm not a T mobile subscriber. I got stuck at the Starbucks next to this T-Mobile store when the police shut down the Yolo causeway one Friday morning. My (AT&T) phone ran out of battery and my charger cord was at work. I walked over to the T-Mobile store and asked if they could help me. Without hesitation, the staff went in the back and lent me a USB charger cord. Didn't even want me to leave collateral like a drivers license or credit card! Classy! read more

The sales rep called me "dear" numerous times while completely missing the point of why I was in the store in the first place. The music was so loud you couldn't hear the person in front of you. I've been dealing with an ongoing issue created by the store manager named Dan, from the store location off of Douglas in Roseville. The issue was ongoing for about a whole month until I came in contact with Bruce, who helped resolve this month long issue within 30 minutes! HORRIBLE. Came in just to get an iPad activated that they deactivated incorrectly and was put behind multiple people on their "waiting list" that came in after me. They figured I wasn't a "sale" and passed me over multiple times. Felt as if i was invaluable and more of a problem for them. Ended up leaving walking out receiving ZERO help whatsoever. Well yes the service here is horrendous. But I don't think it's the employees fault even though some look rather new lately. Clearly it's a manager and district manager fault, seeing that could get more people on the floor and have not. The district manager's name is Lisa Audet. Today I waited 30 minutes and not one person was helped except the three that were being helped when I came in. The reps are going way too slow. There's no doubt that the store can run better. Apparently the managers are happy ignoring the customers and cashing their paychecks. Their headquarters is in Washington I'll try to call them today. Perhaps we all can work together to get a decent management team in our neighborhood T Mobile. After reading all the negative reviews on here, I feel very fortunate that I had such a good experience at this TMobile store! I was upgrading my phone and Luis was the one who helped me. He said he just transferred from another store, I think he said Arden, and he was wonderful to deal with! He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and just very personable. I'm a 55 year old woman and alot of times I get treated with annoyance, or ignored, and I was prepared to face that, but that didn't happen at all. We encountered a problem with my phone and he was very diligent in correcting it, which took alot of patience but he got it done. He made sure everything was good to go and was pleased to answer all of my questions. He was amazing!!! Give that guy a raise!!!! I'll definitely be coming back to this store! read more

When asked why we were considering switching to T-Mobile we shared att provided horrible customer service yet when we wanted to switch to T-Mobile they then had us stand there for over and hour without helping us start out new service and continue to grab one new customer after another coming into the store. I have been coming to this location for many years and have always recieved exceptional customer service. Yes, you most likely will need to wait in line but it is worth it. During my last visit, Nick P. helped us and he went above and BEYOND to assist us with all the questions we had. He helped my daughter for 2 hours to make a decsion on which phone to upgrade to. He even set up the phone for her and walked her through how to use it. He was extremely patient (even when I had lost my patience with her).
