Anyway, I love shops like this where you can "treasure hunt" so had to check it out. "Charity Shop Wholesale is a division of Charity Shop LLC. I've been to several other Costco locations around the Bay Area, and unfortunately, the customer service hasn't always been as good. At some locations, employees seem more focused on talking with their coworkers during checkout or while working their shifts, and customers can sometimes feel overlooked. I really appreciate the employees at this location for being welcoming and attentive. It makes a big difference in the overall shopping experience, and this is one of the Costco locations I enjoy coming back to.

The store was very busy, and we waited a long time in line. By the time we finally got to the register, my kids were getting restless. There were some balls near the registers that they started playing with. The employee working at the register facing the front door told my kids not to play with them, and I immediately told them to put the balls away. My kids were still being loud and messing around while we waited to finish checking out. I understand they were being energetic but they are children, and I was handling the situation as their parent. As we were walking out, that same employee from the register facing the door came up to my children and said, "You guys are animals." I absolutely did not appreciate her speaking to my children that way. If she had an issue with their behavior, she could have addressed me, their mother, respectfully. There was absolutely no reason for an adult employee to approach my children as we were leaving just to call them animals. I want to make it very clear that this was NOT our cashier. Our cashier was extremely kind and patient with us, and I really appreciated her. I understand that my children were being loud and playful, but that does not give an employee the right to insult them. Calling someone's children "animals" was completely inappropriate, disrespectful, and unnecessary.

I'm not sure if they have more aisles than the one I regularly go to but one thing is for sure, the aisle are A LOT wide which makes it a much more comfortable shopping experience. The store was IMMACULATE. Unbelievably clean and everything was well stocked and very organized. All of the items were nicely put in it's place vs shoved around everywhere. I did go in the middle of the day on a Monday so maybe that's why it was so empty. I felt like I had the whole store to myself. It is in a shopping plaza with a bunch of other stores. Speaking of parking, this store is in a pretty big shopping center with multiple businesses, so parking is plentiful. This location in particular never seems messy or disorganized-it's almost always easy to find what you're looking for-it's a very clean store. A few things I love about Grocery Outlet. -Everything is almost always cheaper than regular grocery stores. -I find that you can find unique brands at Grocery Outlet that can't be found at regular stores. That's actually probably my favorite thing right there-the unique items-going into Grocery Outlet is truly like a hunting expedition-You truly never know what they will have and it's different every visit.
