So I have been to this particular one twice when I come into town to see the Airshow. It is set up like most and follows the typical layouts you will find in a clockwise direction. It is on the larger sized outlets. While the hunt for unique local items was unsuccessful, as expected, the staff is the typical friendly and on point. It also is well designed as the gas station is far enough away to de-conflict the main parking lot Aside from that as always we have rules we follow The RULES! 1) NEVER EVER go in hungry. That 25 gallons of dill pickle chips is much easier to resist on a full stomach.... true story there. 2) Avoid the free samples. People seem to lose their minds with this stuff. They abandon carts with crying babies, block isles, etc all to get that tiny portion of hummus. I have been shoved aside by someone desperate to get a free piece of cheese. Honestly I have seen more dignity from actual starving people in a disaster zone but I digress. 3) Avoid the weekends like the plague. 4) See #1 5) Go often. Costco uses alot of psychology and the fear of missing out is one of them. Odd items you must have pop up then go never to return. I CAN'T MISS OUT AGGGGGGG 6) Know your codes: At costco any price ending in 0.97 means it has been marked down. Any price that is not a 0.99 or .97 such as say 0.49 means it has a manufacturers discount. and price with an * aka "The Death Star" on it means its done and will not be reordered so stock up. If it ends in a .00 or a 0.88 a manager has reduced the price at that location to clear it out. 7) When in an unfamiliar city head to the Costco. They always stock local items you can't find at yours (like two pounds of single origin Kona coffee for 30.00 at the Kilaua / Kona store etc.) and have cheap gas. (Same on Kauai)

Thank You!!!! I am, however, surprised at the increased prices in merchandise as well as the inconsistency in basic pricing to begin with. It seems that whomever does the pricing of the DONATIONS coming in is going for top dollar when GoodWill is supposed to be a NOT-FOR-PROFIT. I refuse to contribute to someone's extreme paycheck by buying merch donated to begin with. GREED RULES GOODWILL.

Walked in and used this store for the first time. Went to pick up some baseboard my contractor…read moreneeded to finish with the remodel in my house. There were two people behind the counter. I unfortunately had to be "helped" by the man who was younger taller and skinnier. Not sure what his name was. After asking a couple questions, I could already feel his negative demeanor and complacency for his job. By his conversation and reactions toward me, it was apparent this was not going to be customer service focused but instead it felt like he assumed everybody should know what they are asking or talking about before asking him for help. Throughout all of my conversation with him, he kept giving rolling eye looks and when he would answer questions it would be with quick, non-thorough answers. I bought one piece of a certain baseboard which, came to find out, was to long to fit in my highlander. So I asked if he can just cut it in half. I was answered with a quick "sure". I noticed he was using a mitre saw so I asked if he can cut it at a 45. After he apparently did not want to hear me a couple times he answered with. "We don't do that and we don't really sell to public". I was ok with it as it could have been too much to ask, but then one other worker made a smart remark and said to him that "****, you should install it for him to". My opinion is it would have been good customer service to just say we can't as policy but the "smart" comment didn't need to happen. Either way, most of the reviews are correct about the customer service not being there at all, the talking down to, the "quick" answers. And I can add the rude remarks.

I was more surprised that the guy with the terrible attitude and chip on his shoulder was "Matt", the Manager of the store. I guess it's known throughout the floor finishing community that he's a "little grumpy" sometimes. I guess that's one way of putting it, I would just say Rude is a better description. He won't have to worry about us bothering him again, we won't be back.
