Phenomenal place! I stopped in here quickly on the 24th to stock up on a few supplies for my apartment. This location is super clean, super neat, and really inviting. The staff were incredibly helpful and the prices were all very reasonable for what you get. When I went, they had a great deal - an entire baking box for only $24.99. Even though they were out of the box, the staff graciously helped me put together one from the stock they had on hand. My experience here was so incredible that I immediately bought a gift card, too (LOL) for my sister. Tl;dr I only came in here to buy a pyrex cup and walked out having spent $90 from all the incredible deals and wonderful staff. If you're ever in the market for kitchen supplies, you definitely have to come here. Even if you aren't, you should come just for the staff - they're phenomenal. We bought 12 fryers here because it was on sale and kept it in their warehouse for over 9 months until I built my restaurant. I've been a loyal customer for over ten years! but no more, service and hospitality from Nader Monem is nonexistent! I sent a friend to get a case of wine glasses and he charged her double the price while at the same time being rude. This week I called up and was handed over to nader, I wanted to place a $45,000.00 order for my business, all I wanted was someone to come down and help me with the order ... NOPE, he was busy and couldn't do it! How ridiculous, why does this company allow a rude, arrogant, jerk to work there and pass up $45K in business. Never again. So I called up East Bay Restaurant Supply, they had someone from Sacramento in Modesto in 2 hours! placed the order, will have it next week. Economy, learn from the above example! read more

We bought a cheese slicer from here. we live 80 miles away. when we went to use a week or so later it was defective so we called and were informed of the three day policy. No they would not credit our card. No, they would not honor the purchase by sending us another one if we sent this one back. great employees horrible management. Do not buy from this store. Fantastic service. I met Israel when I went in to shop for my new deli/coffee shop. He was very knowledgeable and helped me find everything I needed from refrigeration, panini grills, to small wares. Lots of equipment for any and everything you need. I work for a hospitality group in the down town Sacramento area. Any time I need something this is the place I frequent for anything restaurant supply related. Staff is very knowledgeable, and helpful, never had an issue with service. Only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is when something is out of stock it takes a bit longer than I'd like for things to be re ordered or stocked. However when I do find something I need that they are out of they do get it ordered, just not always as quickly as I'd like. read more

Nice selection. You don't have don't own some damn restaurant. My friend dragged me here; looking for the big red bowls from Ma Jong's. She almost has a full 8 piece setting (friends of friends). But they only had the black and white versions. Still a cool place to get the semi-obscure and everyday needs for your needs. They had the Bee House teapots that I love, but in limited colors. I went in yesterday for an airpot for coffee. They had several to choose from. They ranged in price, but were slightly more than I wanted to pay. One of the employees gave me a discount, which I very much appreciate. It is clean and spacious inside. If I cooked more these days, I would have bought more. Trimark is an open-to-the-public kitchen supply store, geared towards professional kitchens but also with plenty of goodies for the humble homebound chef (*raises hand* Yo.) i came here and purchased a slicer , i tried to assemble it and put it together and it didn't work properly , i then asked them and they told me to bring it back , i went back and spoke to the guy who sold me it and he then said he won't return it even thought when i called they said to bring it back , i asked him to open it and try using it and he wouldn't even do that , another guy then came and tried to work the machine and didn't know how , another person then came and asked what the problem was , i told him i didn't use this because it didn't work and i just wanted a new one because i just purchased this , they refused to take it back , the three of them didn't even know how to use it to even try and see if it wasn't working properly , i drove over and hour to get here because they told me to bring it back ! take your business elsewhere , they don't deserve business after mistreating customers and wasting time ! i've always went to cresco and the service is always fabulous , i shouldn't have even given this place a chance ! if you want better service go to cresco ! waste of time and money ! read more

Love this place. I bought most of my equipment here. They usually take a percentage off of the list price. I still compare prices but they always seem to come in lower. I like Edgar Portillo. He seems to give me a good deal so I will always come back. East Bay, Cresco, Yaffe, 5th st. I have had good experiences with them but Economy goes through the volume. They send me a damaged item that wasn't visible and I used the item and noticed the item was damaged, called the store 6 days later and they referred me to manufacture. This place is so awesome! I am not a restaurant owner but I am definitely an avid cook and I brew beer relatively often. I came in to look for a 32qt pot to brew in. While they have a large variety of pots, they don't have a really consistent POS or signage system. The prices they did list were a little bit too high for me but the quality that they stock is excellent. I will definitely be back to peruse and gawk over their awesome selection soon. read more

This is a rave about their customer service. I bought four bar stools which were special ordered and arrived in just two days. I needed to assemble them but when I opened the box I discovered there were no instructions. It wasn't rocket science to figure it out but the swivel part was extremely stiff so I needed some advice. I called TriMark and they contacted the manufacturer for me immediately. However, they weren't satisfied with the feedback so they offered to send two of their employees to my home to assemble the stools for me--no charge and for a relatively small order.
