The cost is insane and the kitchens are shared. As a chef, I prefer a real kitchen with a gas stove, grill and traditional equipment. Personally, I do not want to have equipment that does everything for me. I enjoy filling my own pots, and cooking real burgers, using a grill etc. It reminded me of an "air fryer" kitchen. High tech German Equipment that is designed for "lazy cooks". I understand precision cooking. But typically if you are a good cook, you use your skills to achieve this. Additionally, I spent over $200 to prepare the owner food as he said he needed to try my food first. I am not running my business yet and that really hurt my wallet. Naturally, I wanted to provide them with exceptional food. They were blown away by my recipes and they were polite. However, I was not comfortable with the idea of being rushed into signing a contract and paying a $500 membership fee. $3500 a month for only 100 hours of kitchen time with multiple people. Additionally, I was not offered any form of monetary assistance or even food to prepare for them. This is one of the very few kitchens recommended by the Health Department in Sacramento and unfortunately they are not in business to help entrepreneurs get started. Eddy is in business to make a lump sum profit. Speaking of Health Department, he stated multiple times that he had connections in the health department and could guarantee getting my permits pushed through. I did not understand why he thought I needed that. He implied there was a lot of hoops to get over. I suppose that was his pitch to try to get me to sign up. The location is tucked away far from visibility in an office complex. They encourage you to use delivery apps and they do not offer commissary services for equipment. After a long and unsuccessful search in this area I found a true blue 24 hour kitchen in Livermore run by Michelle called New Tradition Artisan Kitchen. She blew me away with her customer service. She is working with me and the rates are the most reasonable I have found. The rates and accommodations make up for the trip there and back.

Eddy from Fantastic Kitchen is very helpful and professional! His state-of-the-art kitchen is clean and perfectly suited for preparing meals for my busines and hosting cooking classes. The rates are reasonable and the kitchen is a dream for catering companies like mine. I highly recommend this kitchen!

They have their own little parking lot and the store is so cute. It's filled with curated items ranging from gifts to homegoods, decorations, and edible items. You'll also find a lot of local businesses highlighted. They change stock throughout the year and bring in seasonal items for the holidays. It's a great spot for gifts or any items you may need for a themed party, dinner party, or to perfect your own home decor. On top of the shopping, they also host local events like pop-ups and classes. You can check online or in store to see what's coming up. Every time I've stopped in the staff has been friendly and welcoming and there's always something different to look at. They also have great prices on items, I've been able to find gifts in many price ranges and have been surprised by some of the gems I've found for a great deal.

Whether you need something for yourself or are looking for a gift for a birthday or special occasion, you can't go wrong with something from The Kitchen Table. As an avid baker, I love that I can come pick up high-quality ingredients, like Mexican Vanilla, that really make my recipes pop. They sell everything from candles and soap, to cocktail shakers and cards. They always offer a ton of great seasonal decor and I always end up spending way too much money in the store. Not only are they a small local business, but they pride themselves on carrying products from other small local businesses. Huge fan, keep up the great work!

The sales were very exciting. First there was a storewide 20% off sale. And then some of the individual pieces had some pretty impressive reductions. However, remember this is an outlet store. I found some of the most heavily discounted equipment had cosmetic flaws. On the other hand, I went to the Le Creuset store two decades ago and got myself a Dutch oven which had a cosmetic flaw, and that thing has been working great the whole time. But before you go to town, check to see if the warranty is in effect. It's kind of pity that my kitchen is so well stocked with equipment. Between the discounts and the excellent selection, I would been in deep trouble with this store several decades ago. While it's easy to focus on the knives and the cookware there is a lot more to the store. They carry an incredible number of small kitchen accessories that can solve common problems. The expert and friendly sales person showed me a really nice magnetic bar, which can be used to mount knives in otherwise wasted spaces in the kitchen. Unfortunately, for the sales person, I already had one of these. But I can definitely testify that this is an incredibly useful device. Some people complain that magnetic bars ruin your knives. But you have to know the trick to using them. Basically you have to kind of peel the knife off the magnetic bar and this prevents scratching and other minor damage. Also, if your knives are looking scratched, there is a whetstone with an incredibly fine grit that will put a mirror polish on your knives. Scratches are not the disaster you think they are. So stop feeling bad about all your kitchen problems and go to this store which has more solutions than you realize. Remember to bring your knives if you need them sharpened.

Who doesn't love a good factory outlet?!…read more The factory outlet stores in Vacaville is the shopping center that is one of if not the largest between Sacramento and San Francisco. It absolutely is filled with many of the better upscale shopping choices, as well as, many of the stores that you'll see at some of the smaller outlets. I decided to pop into Zwilling to check out their weekend sale. If you have a Dutch oven obsession, this is absolutely your place to shop. Yes, it's pricey, but it's all about quality right?! The store is relatively small, and they seem to have a smattering of everything that the company carries or at least most things. If it wasn't for the fact that I had other places to go and things to do, I could've spent so much more time here. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. They don't hover, but definitely make themselves available for questions and help. And if they don't have an answer, they will immediately ask more senior employee to help them out. The store is neat and tidy, and if you love cooking on any level, this absolutely is a store that you should explore! From the Dutch ovens, to the knives, if you're looking for quality and perhaps even a deal, you will get both here!

I've noticed that the glaze on two of them is breaking down, exposing the raw ceramic underneath--I can provide pictures. I tried emailing Jars directly but received no response. Do you or they offer some sort of guarantee on the product? I am thinking the bowls are not safe to eat from anymore. Thanks! Cristina Hi Cristina, We are very sorry to hear about the glaze issue. We have sold thousands of Jars bowls and plates over 20 years and have not heard similar reports. There may be an unusually harsh combination of dishwasher chemicals and hard water, I cannot say. If this had happened in the first year of use we certainly would alert Jars and they might issue a replacement, but unfortunately after five years there is really nothing we can do. Best regards, Ray Terrestra.com Hello Ray, I understand that the bowls are not new but I would appreciate that you share the images with Jar--the deterioration of the glaze is occurring in all three of the bowls that I have in "Jade" but the ones I have in "Neige" show no signs of deterioration. This indicates to me that there is a difference in the glaze and it is not a problem or fluke on my end. I do use these bowls a lot but there is no indication that they are not for everyday use. It is disappointing because they are not cheap. Thank you, Cristina And then....nothing. I waited 10 days or so and sent another follow-up email. And again, nothing.

To be honest, Le Creuset doesn't really have a lot of whole new exciting products. On the other…read morehand their classic lineup is exciting. So I headed in to take a look at all the pieces I didn't have. 25 years ago, I would've crumbled and purchased everything. Now I've grown up a lot and learned how to use straight up cast-iron. since I can make my own nonstick coating, Le Creuset suddenly looks expensive and kind of over the top. The one great thing about that enamel cast-iron, it resistant to acidic foods which means you can cook just about anything you want in the Le Creuset without switching to stainless steel or any other material. Since Le Creuset shouldn't be heated past medium, you still have to switch to stainless steel if you want high heat. Nevertheless, if you're making a stew, a Dutch oven from this company rules. So I took a close look at the Dutch ovens. They have quite the lineup. There were the adorable little ones which look cute but cook hardly any food. there were the more medium size ones, but since I already have one, I don't need the one that's one size down or one size up. Which leads to the 8 to 9 quart Dutch oven. Honestly as a single person 8 to 9 quarts is pretty impractical. Also, where would I store it. Nevertheless, I drooled. I was quite amused to see the big signs announcing the fresh new colors. They just don't have very many marketing gimmicks that they can apply to classic cookware. The one really nice thing about the store is the full lineup of cookware that this company makes. There aren't a lot of places that have anywhere near the stock that this store has. It's a great place to check out some of the harder to find items. Just make sure to ask about cosmetic defects. I purchased my pot from an outlet store 20 years ago. The staff person was very meticulous and showed me the exact cosmetic defect in the pot I purchased. She also warned me that the outlet products were not covered by the usual warranty. I purchased the pot and the cosmetic defect was indeed cosmetic. The pot cooked great. Luckily I've never needed the warranty. So make sure you ask.

They have a much larger selection than the Gilroy outlet and were slightly more organized than the Pleasanton location with a bit more variety as well. If you're looking for pink items, like the Pleasanton location they carry the Satin pink pans, as well as pieces in the olive branch collection. Of the three, if you're looking to purchase Le Creuset, I would go from the North down, Vacaville, Pleasanton, then Gilroy if you really want to make the drive to the third, although between the first two in my opinion you could easily skip it. The service was friendly and helpful and I was able to pick up some pastel pinch bowls and a couple tasting cups in Provence - so all in all it was a great trip and I would absolutely return!
