James met with us multiple times and was super thorough going over all the info for literally every brand and type of range. James was able to get this range at the best price compared to any other appliance stores. Masters Wholesale supplied Bosch appliances to our condo/cohousing community when it was built a year ago. My built-in Bosch microwave oven regularly blows the circuit breaker for no reason and it'sthe only applianceon the circuit. I have had the circuit breaker replaced but it still trips the circuit breaker. I have emailed Masters to ask for a replacement microwave but they have not responded. My Masters-supplied stove was so bad that I had to replace it at my own expense. Don't waste your hard-earned dollars here. read more

My dryer broke and I needed to replace it relatively quickly. I spent a some time looking at washers at Home Depot and Lowes but quickly found Masters had a great selection and lower prices. This company has the worst customer service I've encountered in years. I get that policies exist for a reason, but there's no flexibility or basic respect when they are the ones who order the wrong products and make the errors. Everything feels like a fight. Lana, in particular, made the whole experience unbearable. If I could give zero stars, I would. The customer service here is a total nightmare. Their policies are designed to make sure the customer always loses. They ordered the wrong product and took no accountability in the situation and stood behind their archaic policy not to return special orders. I buy for an apartment complex and have ordered approx. 20+ refrigerators and dozens of stoves and dishwashers. First- they have the absolute best delivery guys. Breece and Jacob ( I believe that is his name) are the 2 best delivery guys I have ever had in 18 years! They are professional, great with residents, helpful, friendly, efficient, and cooperative. They always have a friendly and positive attitude. I can't say enough good things about these 2 guys. They are the best! Second - My sales rep. Marissa is another gem. Helpful, efficient, friendly and professional. She does everything she can to accomodate my delivery needs. Lastly - I am shocked to read negative comments about the customer service. I have not had a single negative experience with customer service. They are friendly, helpful and efficient every single time. After many days of searching for multiple kitchen appliances, my project manager sent me to Masters. Beautiful showroom. They were busy, but a saleslady acknowledged me, so I waited. Then she went to another couple who came in after me. I was about to leave when James Lambert noticed me and asked if he could help. He took me to his desk and began a thorough questioning of what I was looking for; price range; what I didn't want/need, & got to work to show me what was available. What a nice change from big box stores. As he asked me questions, I began to firm up in myself, what I really wanted. That was so helpful. James spent alot of time w/ me & I never felt rushed. I haven't bought appliances in 40 years & alot has changed. Anything he didn't know, he found out. Because I was going thro a contractor, he said he'd beat competitors' prices & also apply contractor's discount. Because my contractor buys at Lowes, I ended up going thro them. But tho the lady there was attentive & worked hard to get me what I needed, it was NOT the enjoyable, comfortable experience I had at Masters. Nor did I feel as confident in what I was buying as I had w/ James. In fact, during my hours at Lowes, I thought over & over how much easier & simpler it would be had I been doing this w/ him. First of all. Here is the person comment who did the flooring the receipt says nothing about a year warranty. Ok. This was a Masters job with the old owner Thomas Borge. I am not sure how they are handling claims before the business was sold. I am with another company and no longer work with Masters. The installer was also paid by Masters for the work so Blue Valley has no responsibility here. I seriously would not recommend doing business with Masters Warehouse. I spent close to $11,000 on a new GE built in refrigerator. It has not worked since it was installed at the end of Nov. and it is now Jan and still does not work. I have escalated to the manager and have been told that is what warranties are for and that I have to deal with GE myself. No help or representation at all. Well, GE has not fixed it yet for a whole list of excuses. Masters refuses to help in any way even though I purchased from them. Do you know of any other business that immediately refuses to help with a product they sold. They dont even return messages or calls. But indeed it's range FCRG3051BS that can be bought for 550-700 that is wrapped up. She is telling that she is not allowed to unwrap the range. Our builder recommended that we talk to Master's about appliances and Master's is one of the approved dealers for Sub-zero. Our meetings at the showroom with the salesperson went exceedingly well - the sales person was really knowledgeable and very patient. This person is no longer working at Master's - but I saw other sales agents with the same diligence. So why the 1* review. Single reason would be their delivery coordination people and in particular a guy called Earl. As long as Earl is working at this company, you should not buy any appliance here. The guy would call every week and say that he wants to schedule delivery even when we told them we not ready. He absolutely insisted that our site be per-inspected when we clearly knew that it was not ready for inspection. The guys who came for inspection were baffled why we scheduled them so early. They looked at the house in the framing stages - didn't even go inside and showed us the house across the street that was nearing completion and told us that we should call them then. And that is what we were telling Earl but he refused to listen. And they have no respect for customer's time - they just give the customer a big window and expect the customer to be there. But this is at a construction site - what is a person supposed to do there for a several hour window? Since I live 10-min away, I told them to call me/text me before they headed to my place - they did not do that. When I scheduled the final delivery, I talked to Earl and he said that a pr-inspection was necessary when it was already done. Seriously! So I was able to convince about that and may be he found that it had been done. I also asked him if their delivery truck could go on gravel and he said yes. When the delivery guys showed up, they said that they cannot go on gravel. But I checked - so why waste my time and delivery/install guys time if they cannot go on gravel. I have to bless the delivery/install people - they made the delivery happen and all the guys were very nice. When it came to final delivery, they mumbled the delivery time in the automated message - no option to repeat the message. So I called them to get a time and they didn't know and they said that they will have Earl call us back. No calls. All said and done this was the most frustrating delivery experience in our new house project. The delivery coordination and the annoying calls from Earl sandbagged all the good work that was done by the sales person and the other delivery people. read more

We ordered 2 Dishwashers from them in Nov of 2021. They took half our money and said they'd take April to come in, which we didn't like, but they sold us the original dishwashers one of which broke. So starting April of 2022, we started calling. And calling. And calling. We got nice people who always promised they'd get back to us but never did. Here it is mid Dec heading into the holidays and no dishwashers, and crickets from this business. Save yourself the hassle and go anywhere else. Home Depot, Lowe's even. And we have corrected the phone number issue with the business, not only once, but again, and a third time. One store did refer me to Masters Wholesale on Mercantile Dr. in Rancho Cordova, where I spoke with Mario Corea. Mario shared his experience at Masters (and at a previous company where he worked in appliance servicing) to guide me toward a couple of recommended makers, and to steer clear of a couple of others. I independently checked with our appliance repairman, whose advice coincided with Mario's. We purchased a range from Masters - whose prices beat prices from online suppliers and box stores both - and are very appreciative of Mario's assistance. Terrible company. Do not buy from them. Purchased a dishwasher and when I called to schedule for a delivery they informed me that it was no longer available. Seems they sold my appliance to someone else then I had to wait months for a new one. When it came time to get it installed, they brought the wrong appliance so I had to wait another couple of weeks. Was called the day prior with a window of 1-430pm, but they decided to show up early, claimed my gate was close (which was NOT) and never left a message, they simply left to go have a long early lunch and left me waiting until 5pm. I called the company and 4:45pm to find out why my dishwasher was not delivered and that is when they told me of their miscommunication. Wow, where to start........ First off our experience in the showroom was excellent so we weren't expecting the extreme unprofessionalism of their customer service team. They were rude about scheduling a walkthrough, then sent a walkthrough time of 12:30-4:30 AM. When I called to indicate that couldn't be right, they were snippy and defensive and said computer glitch, but then we had a hard time validating what time they were actually coming. They ended up showing up 2 hours late, so right during dinner, also no apology. Now I have a text from them indicating the actual refrigerator will be here today, but the message indicated that it was "subject to change". I have called three times and left messages (as, heads up) no one ever actually answers their customer service line, to no avail. I have no idea if someone will show up with the fridge today or not. I guess our work/life schedule doesn't matter........ We gave these guys 11,000 for a custom fridge and since they made the sale we have been treated horribly. Go somewhere else! read more

scam artists masquerading as appliance salespeople. i have been trying to reverse a charge for a cancelled $2.2k order for 11 days now and nothing seems to ever happen. there is an email thread with 7 people on it and not one of them seems to have taken any action. calling them is like calling cockroaches--everyone seems to scatter out of sight. i am disputing it with my CC company but in the meantime, they are running some sketchy kind of operation--pretty sure if i hadn't noticed that the charge hadn't been reversed, they would have just kept the money. We had Masters install a double 27" oven last Friday, and the job went flawlessly (I had to re-schedule due to my own work conflicts). We have Mario and Mike A. out and they went above and beyond. A single star is being overly generous to describe the service provided by this company. In the past, I typically have purchased my appliances from another reliable local small business, however, because their wait list for Miele dishwashers was more than six months, I decided to shop elsewhere. The day I stopped by Masters Wholesale, a nice young women assisted me and told me they had at least four in stock of the Miele models I was seeking. The next day I attempted to contact her but did not receive a response. I went back to the store and spoke with a charming man, James, who let me know that the young lady had quit (for reasons I won't divulge). At that moment, I should have run fo the hills, but instead, I purchased the Miele AND a refrigerator too. When it came time to schedule the installations of both, I was told they didn't have the Miele. Essentially, they had sold my dishwasher to someone else and tried to blame the warehouse. I was told my Miele wouldn't be available until July (this was at the beginning fo the year). At the very least, I scheduled my refrigerator delivery. Unfortunately, this company doesn't give you the window of delivery until 1-day prior - not much time to re-arrange the work schedule. They provided us with a certain timeframe and showed up an hour late - no call, not text, no communication. We both had meetings scheduled during the time they finally showed up (since I re-arranged my work day to accommodate their delivery schedule) therefore, they had to wait. That's what happens when you don't communicate with customers. A few months later, I received a call from someone named Earl, that my dishwasher has arrived and is ready for delivery. Again, I schedule a time for delivery and installation and got the call the day before to let me know my window. From there, I coordinated with work to accommodate the time they allotted (they do not provide options - you get what you get). The installer showed up and told me the wrong dishwasher was loaded on the truck. So no dishwasher on that day. I had to wait for Earl to contact me again for another delivery which was two weeks out. I was provided a day and again waited for my call with the window so I could arrange with work. After most of the day had passed, I finally reached out to James at 3pm to let him know that I needed a delivery time. Shortly after I contacted him, I finally received the call stating the window for delivery was 1:00-4:30pm. At about 4:45pm the following day, I called the office and was told that someone showed up at 11:00am and wrote down that the gate was locked and that they had called me. First of all, the gate was unlocked - how do I know that - because I received an earlier package delivery. Secondly, if they called, why did they not leave a messaget? So, again, no dishwasher was installed. This is the absolute worst company for customer service. They have no regard for our time, our jobs, or clearly our business. How difficult is it to communicate with your customers? Whether they are late, show up outside of the scheduled time, or have issues entering the property. It's a simple text or message. I will never use Masters Wholesale for my future appliances and I will never recommend them to friends, or enemies for that matter. This has to be the worst service I have experienced as a customer and their utter lack of concern for my inconvenience is astounding. read more

Cy did a wonderful job showing us several different bands of stoves. He was very knowledgeable and patient with us as we looked around the showroom. He took his time and we never felt pressured. He is very responsive to questions and has excellent follow up. We decided on the Monogram and couldn't be happier with it. He coordinated delivery and installation with a third party and they also did a great job. After he followed up to make sure we were happy with our stove, and helped us out with an gas hookup problem. We were able to relocate the pipe and the stove fits like a glove. We live in a rural area - no one wanted to touch our stovetop downdraft replacement. I tried Masters Wholesale in Rancho Cordoba and they didn't want to bother with us. He said "we don't make anything off downdrafts." That was after giving me a quote, and every time I called to order they never called back. Instead we went to Valley Oak Appliance Center and Jean and Desi are the bomb. Valley Oak owner Jean was 110% responsive. She thoroughly researched everything. Gave us options. And Desi their technician knows everything about installation and product specs/fit. Valley Oak gets my vote of confidence and I will refer them to anyone in our area read more

Is there any such thing as zero-star rating? Okay, I'll give them one star. Our saga began in early September, 2020. We were moving back into a house that had been a rental for many years. Needless to say, the carpets were in desperate need of replacement. Several years ago, we purchased laminated wood flooring from Masters and our experience was good so we decided to order carpet through them this time. Our shopping experience was good i.e., they were more than willing to sell us flooring. We placed our order and made our deposit. From there, everything went downhill. We were told that the flooring would take approximately two weeks for the carpet to arrive at their warehouse and once it arrived, they would schedule the install. After more than three weeks passed, having not heard anything from Masters, we started making phone calls. After several calls without a response, we finally got a hold of our salesman and he confirmed that the carpet had indeed arrived. He was having "issues" scheduling the install and he could not promise that he could find an installer any time soon. He explained that Master subs out their install jobs and they couldn't find a contractor to install the carpet as they could make more money on other types of installs. Note, they sold us the carpet with an install quote and never discussed any potential issues with the timeline. Long story short, we escalated our concern for lack of response and customer service, and we were finally able to get an install date more than two months after our purchase date! Our only other option, as told to us, was to pay for material and schedule our own install. As we had paid for the install, and they couldn't guarantee the work of another 3rd party installer, we agreed to wait. The day before install, we called Masters to check on the status of the install and we were told the installer was ill and that they would have to check as to when we could get back on the schedule. As a side note, we had removed all the old carpet when they told us the install was to occur shortly after the carpet arrived at their warehouse and we were also paying monthly storage fees for all the items that we couldn't move into the three rooms that were to be carpeted. Let's just say that we were beyond frustrated. Not that we weren't empathetic if the installer was indeed ill, but Masters wouldn't even commit to placing us at the top of the que when the installer was well enough to work. Let's just say that we found an installer and if all goes well, we will have carpet tomorrow. I just hope this review helps at least one person avoid the problems we encountered with Masters. Why are they even selling flooring products if they can't perform? Or, at a minimum, sell the flooring as a stand-alone, without install??? Based on our experience with them, I'm surprised that they are still in business. read more
