we have used Fig's Plumbing several times and they are the very best! We had a "water hammer" concern where air gets into the water line. There is a loud noise every time the sprinkler comes on that shakes the whole house. The repair can be hard to diagnose but Daniel did a fantastic job, and now no noise. I had a leaking corrugated hose under my bathroom sink that needed immediate repair. I called Figs plumbing since their office is very close. Dan was able to come and replace the hose and recommend that the other hoses would most likely fail at some point in the near future. We are always in search of a competent, reliable and reasonably-priced plumber, and it's proven tough to find one that checks all 3 of those boxes... until now. Figs Plumbing has proven themselves worthy of being our go-to for all plumbing needs. Our kitchen faucet started to lose water pressure, so after seeing highly complimentary posts about Figs on our local neighborhood Facebook group, I gave them a call. They came right out and confirmed that our faucet had sediment buildup inside and needed to be replaced. In addition, the water valves under our kitchen sink were very old and also starting to leak, so Figs replaced the valves and installed a shiny new faucet for us and did so efficiently, affordably and made sure to clean everything up afterwards. They even helped repair a leaking bathroom sink and a piece of our under sink cabinet door at no additional cost! In a case of uncanny timing, our old home's tree root-infested sewer line clogged and backed up the same time they were at our house, so they called in another member of their crew to come clean out the line of all roots for us, again efficiently, affordably and with total clean up afterwards (lifesaver!) Could not recommend them any stronger than I am - truly professional and trustworthy, with no hard upsells or pushy tactics. Friday night at 7:30, we heard some gurgling coming from our bathrooms. Sewer water was coming up in our shower and bathtub. We immediately texted Fig's Plumbing, and Michelle responded right away. She sent Daniel over to survey the situation. Since it was dark he said he would send someone out at 6:30 the next day. Andrew arrived at 6:28 a.m. quickly began digging up the yard to find the clean out pipe (which we didn't have). Daniel and his team worked all day to inspect, install, and clean up at the end! So Daniel wouldn't come out for a quote and only wanted pictures - we sent them and he estimated $ 1250 but immediately knocked it down to $1000. During our correspondence, he said he would jackhammer out the toilet flange, replace the tile and reinstall the toilet, but would not put the tile work on the estimate. When I asked for a not to exceed price, he said he wouldn't do it as he didn't know what he was getting into. Turns out the toilet flange was ABS plastic and it cost me $500 to get it fixed. I think this was a little bit high, but the guy came out and gave me a free estimate, and fixed it immediately, replacing the toilet flange with a more secure metal one than previously installed. read more

Make sure you get your estimate in writing from Daniel. Don't trust his words. I learned it the hard way. I trusted him -- scope of work and the price. Because it was an older house he wasn't sure how much it would cost upfront and said he will charge me reasonably by the hour. And gave me a rough estimate. When he showed up at my door he said his wife asked him to increase the rate! He said he wants THREE times the original estimate. Right before starting the job at the doorstep. He didn't even give me a couple of days notice. I was upset and angry with him. And still am. I had already said no to a couple of other plumbers and was waiting to get the plumbing done so the the rest of my crew could continue. Don't trust his words. Get the scope and price from him in writing. He will bully around and change things at the last moment and screw you over. read more

I called them just before the new year for a hydro jet on a recent home purchase. They were super friendly, knowledgeable and reasonable. The owner was super helpful when he came by. It seemed like he was possibly training someone because he was telling him what he was doing and why. In talking to him, he also recommended fixing the shower that was very slow to drain. Most importantly, he was sooo kind to my 4 year old son. He was super excited to watch them work & "help"! Did not work. In our neighborhood, just down the street, we have noticed the Fig's Plumbing truck in the driveway of one of the homes though we'd never met the residents. I looked the business up and read rave reviews. I called and was treated so professionally. The owner, Daniel, was able to come out that evening at a very modest rate of $79. He and Johnny were working tirelessly to not only open a drain access that would not open (they had to saw it off) but they just kept at it till it was really cleared out. Daniel from Figs Plumbing came out today and tried to clear my mainline. After 3 attempts with the snakes and another attempt with the Hydro jetter the line would not clear. He determined that the pipe is defective, possibly collapsed or broken and will need to be dug out to get to the source of repair. I told Daniel I would have a family member help me dig it up and replace the pipe. I asked him how much of what he quoted me I owed him for his many hours of work and he said no charge and to put what I would have paid him towards getting it repaired. Honest man.
