Always leaving confused and paying more than I was originally expecting. I was prepared to walk in, have a long wait with no acknowledgement, just take a seat like the DMV and leave once again confused and frustrated. We stopped in last Friday and walked in to a smiling face eager to help. Offered an extra chair for my husband as he explained our bill, confirmed we continue to have the best plan for our family, and we left. I was almost confused. I went ot store and they said sorry nothing they could do, then called tmobile and after getting to a manager she said thee could get it to $130 so I said OK, but my bill just came in at $172. They lie and do what ever they need to to get you to join and then charge what ever they want. WhT Hppened to your word and good service, honesty... I have had plenty of terrible customer service experiences in my lifetime, but this had to take the cake for the absolute worst to date. My iPhone's charging port has become loose and I wanted to get it repaired. A family member recommended these idiots based on the fact that they (allegedly) helped her out in the past. So I went to this store hoping for some type of assistance/recommendation. When I arrived the fellow that greeted me asked what my issue was after a couple minutes of me waiting and then proceeded to take all of my contact information down. Upon completion of said intake he then told me that a technician would be with me in 15 minutes. A minute after that I received a text message saying that my wait time would be 19 minutes. Fast forward to 25 minutes later and I was finally seen- by the same idiot that greeted me to begin with. This made no sense to me whatsoever, since I had been watching him like a hawk the whole time I was waiting and he had done absolutely nothing. He just hovered around the building and then, after 25 minutes, he told me that HE would see me now. What purpose did me waiting serve if I was going to be seen by the same guy who greeted me, knowing that this guy did nothing while I waited? To compound massive insult on injury, the guy proceeded to tell me that I had "three options." All three so-called-options involved increasing my monthly bill and/or upgrading my phone and none of them involved actually repairing my phone. The guy let me wait for almost a half an hour just to try to upsell me on plans/phone upgrades that I had no interest in to begin with. I was absolutely exasperated and wanted to explode, but I refrained from doing so. And that took a great deal of patience/inner fortitude on my part, because these guys deliberately made me wait on a so-called technician only to try getting me to pay even more to their stupid company every month for the same laughably terrible service. I ultimately ended up leaving and plan on getting my charging port repaired at a mom and pops shop, because I know that if I had left it up to T-Mobile and their inept customer service representatives, they would have referred me to Apple themselves, which would have resulted in an exorbitant bill (probably the cost of a brand new phone). My word of advice: if you need a phone or accessories, don't go into this or any of T-Mobiles other stores- buy online and deny these insufferable pricks even a cent of commission. And if you need repairs just find someone who does them that isn't affiliated with this company or Apple. You'll be doing yourself a monumentally huge favor. read more

Where do I start?? I don't even want to expend any more energy on this company. We had their mobile non-service for about a year. They promised we would get good reception and have no issues where we lived. We had nothing but problems. Lousy service, lousy customer phone service. When I cancelled our accounts, they said we couldn't yet, because our phones were locked! HTH could our phones be locked, when all 5 of our phones were fully paid for when we started with T-Mobile?! T-Mobile couldn't give us an acceptable answer. So get this - we had to pay for an extra month of service at $183 while we waited for T-Mobile to unlock our phones, which they had no business locking in the first place!! And we had already paid for service with another carrier!! To make matters worse, after T-Mobile took TWO WEEKS to remove THEIR OWN locks from the phones we owned outright, they gave us more bad news!! Now Apple had locks on our phones!! WTH??!!! It was gonna take another 10 Days for Apple to release our phones!! Again - our iPhones were purchased at Costco, and completely paid for!! So, guess what?? Another month of service gets charged to us while we wait!! Isn't that lovely??!! T-Mobile didn't stop there though!! No, since I had auto pay set up with them, they charged an additional TWO months at $183/per mo. Just pulled it right outta my bank account. Easy fix, you say? Oh, hell no!! After numerous visits to the T-Mobile store at the Galleria Roseville Mall, dozens of phone calls, including hours on hold..... I eventually got a one-month refund. That's it. They tried to say they sent me a gift card for the other month. Now why would they do that? They even gave me an incorrect address when I asked where they sent it. Why wouldn't they just credit the account they took it from??!! Eventually when I would call to speak to a supervisor to ask why I haven't received my money, they would put me on hold and never come back. Bottom Line: T-MOBILE- You are bottom feeders!! You disguise your shoddy, intentionally unfair and even criminal business practices behind the bright pink you vomit everywhere. I will never do business with you again. I strongly discourage everyone else from dealing with this crooked company. read more

Do not come here. Yesterday, I came an hour before closing time for a phone upgrade and was kindly put on a short waitlist. Ryker put our name down and reason for visit and said he'd be with us and that we'd be welcome to go grab a coffee at the nearby Peet's while we waited. After waiting for over 30 minutes with no notification that we were ready to be serviced, we headed back to the store to multiple employees just waiting around without customers. We were then told by Carlos that since we were now within 30 minutes of closing, they would not be able to assist us with the upgrade. He let us know he'd be there at 10am the following day and could get us in immediately. Come the next morning, we waited for 30 minutes outside the gated the door with no one inside and no one answering their phones. After probably the 5th call, someone answered saying that they wouldn't be opening for another 15 minutes. Given that this is the corporate location, I'd expect my time not to be wasted, especially more than once. Save your time and just go to a different location. read more

I was a T-Mobile customer for 4 years. I was wanting to reduce my bill a little and I called customer service twice for clarification on their different plans, which I qualified for. Needles to say I received inconsistent information each time.. I opted to go into the T-Mobile store on 11/25/22.. it was busy, but I was willing to wait. I even told the manager I wanted to make sure he was involved since I received bad info from their customer service. He said he would be involved. After waiting for an hour, I met with one of the rep's (I wish I had his name and the managers name). As we were discussing my options and I was trying to understand how they promote Netflix for free, but still charge you, I noticed the employee had looked at his watch three different times. Finally I asked if he needed to be somewhere else. He said no and then made a comment that there were other customers waiting. Are you kidding me!!!! I waited just like everyone else and I was respectful and patient. While I was at T-Mobile I saw several employees standing around doing nothing and the manager was bull shitting with people and never followed up with me. I guess once you're a customer you don't count. I realize that I'm a small fish in the pond and won't be missed by T-Mobile. But that day I went into T-Mobile with full intentions on staying a T-Mobile customer. But after how I was treated, no way!!!!. I am into this store, knowing exactly what I wanted and exactly what plan I wanted. I did my research. I would NEVER sign a contract. I have heard so many horror stories, so I have had pay-as-you-go cell service for 14 years and it works fine for me. I walk in and wait a few minutes and an Asian young man asks me what I need. I say: A SIM card. He questions why. I tell him I want a pay-as-you-go plan. He wants to know the reason. WTF? That is none of his business. I tell him I just want the SIM card. I had already purchased a refill card that would cover the fee for my plan. If I did not get the customer service I wanted at this store (I have had bad experiences in the past, not unlike this one today), I could just go home, put the sim in myself and call customer service to get my number transferred. I had my account number and PIN from my old carrier in hand. Like I said---- I knew what I wanted, did my homework, looked at their plans, coverage areas and payment methods and came in to get what I needed. But he continues on, questioning why I want Pay-As-You-Go. I look at him and say: I don't want an upsell, can I just get the SIM card? He then tells me that it's not his fault I "feel" like he's upselling to me. OMG, did you just mansplain to me about my experience? I had very efficiently and exactly communicated what I wanted. And he is grilling me over my choice. Either he is angling to try to get me to buy something else, which is "UPSELLING" OR he thinks because I am not a man, I don't know what I want. Either way, it's sexist. Especially the condescending manner in which he said my "feelings" were the problem. I could not have been more clear about what I wanted to buy. So I told him in very colorful, 4 letter words where he could stick his attitude and sexism, and I went out to the T-Mobile store at the Palladio, and got the best customer service I have ever gotten from a Carrier's store from Nicole out there. Every time I have come into the store on East Bidwell St., Folsom for assistance with my phone and unfortunately, it has been numerous times, I have always received exceptional service. Everyone that I have worked with has been extremely knowledgeable and has been able to service my phone very quickly. They always have plenty of staff to assist the clientele so there is rarely any wait time. The gentlemen I have worked with have treated me with the utmost respect even though I did not purchase my phone from them (I wish I had). They have always jumped right in and fixed my issue. Mathew the manager told my dad he had no balance when we canceled service in October and then today refused to give me the information needed to make a complaint regarding him. When all he needed to do was spend 7 mins contacting the customer service to put in a verification code. He claimed someone would contact me. We'll see! I went to the other Folsom location and Carter and Nikki were wonderful and I timed that it took 7 mins to connect us with Susan in customer service who was also very sweet and took care of the late fee incurred due to Mathews incompetence in telling us there was no bill in October when they're truly was a bill that covered the September month of service. He said "I offered to let you speak to a manager but you just kept asking me questions." I was asking questions because I obviously wasn't understanding his answers. For months now I've attempted to cancel service with this company due to the fact that I changed to a service in which I own stock. I received an acknowledgement stating my account was cancelled. However, I continue to received bills for the service I do not use! I called them again this morning and was on the phone for over an hour and was in the process of being transferred to yet a fifth person when I grew so tired of this that I hung up. A large problem with these companies is that they have their help centers located in Asian countries and you can't understand them. Really bad with customer service. I walked in, no one was available to help, and I finally get my name signed in because an other customer told me about that. The guy tells me the wait is about 30 minutes and they would call me when it is my turn, and if I am outside they would text me. I go out side the store and come back in within 15 minutes, and I see they are serving the new customers who arrived after me, but did not text me. I crawled into this store some weeks back like a refugee seeking shelter from the piece of junk that had become my flip phone. It was me against the phone. Phone 3. Olivia 0. With sharp metal pieces sticking out and stabbing me in the cheek every time I said "hello" and a charger that I had to hold in place for it to do its job -- I would not back down quietly from this. Oh no. I knew what I wanted when I approached the sales clerk: a new phone of equal value for free. I mean, c'mon, it had been just a year since I purchased this phone ... and I had just sold my soul again to TMobile for another 2 years, just so I could change my plan and get some extra minutes removed from my bill. Well, I knew it would be a struggle .. a battle of the wills. And, to a certain, extent, it was. I was not up for a phone replacement/upgrade until January. Figures. In the end, I settled for a phone that was lesser than the one I had, but was only $10 bucks. And, I found out that I had a $50 unlimited calling plan (for being a loyal slave --err I mean customer), which made me want to reach out and touch someone ... wait, that's not TMobile. Also, he gave me a free charger that works Superfabulously. So, all in all, I may have lost some battles, but I feel like I won the war. read more

My experience with T-Mobile has been a nightmare except for today when I went into this store & was greeted right away by a female rep (didn't get her name), dark hair/ freckles. She was on point, helpful & knew exactly what to do. This is the first female rep I've dealt with (all others were male on the phone & in another store location, all not to bright or well trained. We had our phones unlocked which she made sure went smoothly even though we had to call c/s. We were w/Verizon prior & were going back. 1. Verizon has the best cell coverage hands down. 2.
