Unfortunately that's before I was sold on one service, and then slipped a contract for a different service that operates at 1/10 the speed and locked into a 2 year contract. I'm a business owner, not a network engineer. A difference like that needs to be explained before just giving me a bait and switch inside of a contract. When I reached out to try and come to a resolution I was Chastised by my sales person Doug because I contacted the wrong account manager who coincidentally seemed to be the only person willing to help. After that I simply wanted to be let you of the contract I was tricked into agreeing to. Today I was informed that the cancellation cost would be over 4 thousand dollars. I'm absolutely sick to my stomach over the experience, and can't believe its happening from a local company inside of Bend.

Call…read moretech support, wait 45 min on hold before getting a tech support person, work with tech support for 45 min to troubleshoot, tech says nothing more he can do over the phone, so set up service appointment at tech's recommendation, availability more than a week out, schedule appointment for about 10days out, get a 4-hour window when I have to wait at home for their tech (ok, pretty standard), days later receive VM from BendBroadband telling me I need to call their tele-help number to troubleshoot over the phone first or they'll cancel my service appointment. Wha?! I call back, wait on hold for 45 min until a real person answers, make sure they understand I've already spent 45 min troubleshooting over the phone and it's their tech who told me to make a service appointment. Appointment day arrives, I wait at home for tech during the four hour window, 3 1/2 hours in I get a call: we're running an hour late. An hour and a-half later 5 two techs finally arrive. They make some adjustment, say it's all fixed, and in 30 min. they are gone. That's truly noteworthy service. Next-day update: Conducted a speed test of my high-speed BendBroadband service: 0.53 Mbps download, 5.13 Mbps upload.

So, there was a lot of dead in my day... And then I called Michael and Paula at MPS Consulting. And my day was filled with a lot less six feet under. In fact, it was transformed by an excellent service response time, great conversation while the problem was assessed, and the verdict that while my battery in fact had bit the dust, my laptop was salvageable, and I was back in business and working away in less than 2 hours! To top it off, both Michael and Paula are very knowledgable about Apple products, have great service and rates, and will recycle parts as well as assist you in buying your next laptop. I highly recommend next time you need any laptop maintenance or have that "Oh sh*t" moment with your Apple product.

These one star reviews must have not used bend broadband before…read more.. Our BB WiFi was $75 a month and (no exaggeration here) we reset our router every single day, multiple times a day. Two of the rooms in our house didn't even get it, and our place is about 1200 sq ft. Century Link on the other has been OUTSTANDING! We switched to them about 6 months back, haven't had to reset our router even one time, we get the same quality WiFi in every room of the house, and only pay $50. Can't speak to the customer service because we haven't had to call them since installation, but I can say that the service we got that day was awesome. The guy showed up early, got it installed wicked fast, and then we shared pictures of our dogs and he helped me find some cool places to visit on the southern coast for our upcoming road trip. Might have had some issues in the past, but everything seems to be flawless w this company now!

Terrible Service. Internet has been intermittent for 2 weeks…read moreafter a thunderstorm. I have to use my cell phone's Personal Hotspot for internet. And, Century Link will not give a rebate after weeks of no service.
