I went in with my daughter to get her a new phone and the "kid" behind the counter didn't say much, almost like I had to pry the answers out of him. I wasn't offered any deals, he barely talked, and honestly was treated like "why don't you know this" about the phone. Then when the phone came in, I wasn't called but checked my Verizon account to see if it came in. I was helped by a different person and although she was pleasant. The other worker was wearing sweatpant joggers and T-shirts with no Verizon logos. I mean obviously, it was pajama day Thursday at work. I spent a total of FOUR HOURS. stretched across 2 days, going back-and-forth between Apple phone techs, the carrier, back to Apple, back to the carrier..... After a frustrating rant at the two, I was directed to the "Genius Bar" at the Apple Store in River Park Square. Well, thank GOD they did! I was impressed the moment I walked in. I was greeted, my appointment was in the system along with the long case log. They directed me to "Karen" who immediately was able to unlock and wipe the new phone to its factory settings. After some skillful diagnostics, she was able to determine the problem was in the restoration sequence from the old phone. From there she was able to revive the new phone and get it to working status. Yes, I would have to reinstall my apps again, but I don't care. They said they would order a "backup" phone in case this one dies again. But, I think it's going to be fine. Thanks to the team at the Genius Bar - especially Karen, who was patient, efficient and personable. My thanks, also, to the store manager (sorry, I didn't get his name) for his understanding and compassion. The store is bright and lively with plenty of helpful, knowledgeable staff moving about taking care of whoever walks in. If you ever have a need for service on any of your Apple devices, or you're looking for top drawer products and service, this is the place to go.

Then watched this same employee assist a customer who had zero appointment before again standing against the wall for several more minutes just spacing out. Finally, about 20-30 minutes later this same employee appeared to "snap out of it" and finally came over to assist me after I'd been sitting at the Genius Bar for 45 minutes. There was no one else being assisted at the bar and the store was not that busy. Not impressed with the support in this store. However, they did do an excellent job with the necessary repairs I went in to get fixed.

Went in and opened a new account with Verizon on Oct 7 2025. I went in asking for the Samsung…read moreGalaxy S25, specifically for its satellite texting capabilities. I was told by the salesman that they were out of stock, but the did have the S25FE, and it had all of the same capabilities as the standard S25, so I trusted him and said that would be fine. I was not able to test the satellite texting until November 23, and found that it would not work. Just no service and no option to switch to satellite. When I got back home, after about 10 minutes of research, I found that the S25FE does NOT support satellite texting. I got the answer from both Samsung directly and Verizon support after asking them to double check, sharing what Samsung had told me. I went to the same store that I got the phone from to see if there was any way to do an exchange even though it was after 30 days, since they had misrepresented the phones capabilities. I was told that it would work just fine. I did not have my research saved onto my phone, so I left. I went in the next day with the evidence that the phone would in fact NOT satellite text. I was told that there was nothing that they could do because it was past the 30 day exchange. The options that they gave me were to buy out the S25FE (which would be over $600) and then get a new phone, or I could just pay for another line and get a phone with that (but would add $50+ a month on top of the phone that I already have). I have tried to get in touch with both Victra and Verizon and have gotten nothing. Victra won't respond at all and Verizon acts like they haven't seen the complaint before, even though I am continuing through the same request, not starting a new one. They would ask the for the same information (name and whats going on) each time they wanted more information, and wouldn't tell me what information they wanted. They just kept trying to start over and eventually shut the request. This is a textbook example of bait and switch, promising the product would do more than it is capable of, but they will not own up to their mistake. Would not recommend them to my enemy. Was just looking to switch phones for what I asked for and was told I was getting. I was even willing to pay some extra understanding that the S25 costs more. If it weren't for opening a credit card with them, I would switch immediately.

What the absolute eff? I have had issues with this company in the past, but this is an absolute new low.
