I've been with guys since they opened as a small teeny, cubbyhole…read more They are always respectful and friendly, supporting COVID safety, and care more about your needs than making a sale-- if a product would meet my needs, they have told me point blank even if it cost them a good sale. Their advice has served me in good stead over the years which I appreciate. I trust them for my computer and technology needs entirely, and am glad to keep my money local and support these good employees.

I did not drop the phone, expose it to moisture, or misuse it in any way. I simply took it out of my pocket and the display was suddenly unusable--green and black discoloration with severe lines across the screen. For context, the phone was in a protective case and had a screen protector installed at the time. Despite these protections and normal, careful use, the replacement screen still catastrophically failed. A screen replacement should last significantly longer than a few weeks. This kind of failure strongly suggests low-quality parts and/or poor workmanship. I now have a non-functional device after paying for a repair that was supposed to fix the problem, not create a new one. The inconvenience, cost, and time wasted dealing with this issue are unacceptable. I would strongly caution others against using this business if they expect a reliable, durable repair or any reasonable standard of quality control.

The staff was quite belligerent about me having a mask to shop here (which I will avoid doing from now on) as well as my 24-week pregnant daughter, who was advised NOT to wear a mask as well. We will not be back.

Upon returning to the store, I was given a couple options. Option 1. Take it and hold it for an exchange. Option 2. Pay for a new one that they would order in (why do I need to pay to stock store shelves?). And option 3. Hold onto it and return it, then buy another one when it's restocked. We discussed that option 3 would work best for me, since I need it to make face shields to donate do healthcare workers on the front line. However I voiced a concern with the store manager that since it was broken out of the box, broken merchandise would not be accepted as a return some unknown number of weeks down the line. Rhonda, the store manager, was unwilling to provide a written note of acknowledgement on this issue, and proceeded to provide me with a bureaucratical re-reading of the return policy on the receipt. Which, as per staples.com, requires that the product "be returned in saleable condition with the original packaging." Being that this was damaged, that return policy did not apply, and I feel as if Rhonda was attempting to manipulate me into a sale for which no return policy or remediation would exist. Given these circumstances, I had no choice to return the product. Thank you, Rhonda, for your ability to easily deny any accountability, for providing me inaccurate information regarding the Staples return policy, and for delaying a shipment of important medical supplies.

He was visibly mad he had to open the box it seemed. He looked all through it, then threw the package into a box. He was acting like a pissed off child. He then printed off a receipt, and shoved it crossed the counter. I picked it up and said, "Thank you sir". He raised his voice, and said sarcastically "THANK YOU". I stopped. turned and asked, " What is with the attitude?" He did not like that, got irritated and raised his voice again, and said, "I do not have an attitude, I am thanking you, I am thanking you". This man in no way should be representing Staples by being in customer service dealing with the public. He was irritated from the moment I stepped to the counter. Perhaps he was not feeling well, maybe his oxygen level was too low, maybe he is just not good with people. No matter what his problem was, he attitude, manners, and tone of voice and actions were not professional, pleasant and he made it very apparent he was not happy about doing his job! Very poor reflection on Staples!

So, at this point, I get them whenever I get them if I ever do. There is no way to describe how I feel about this and I will gladly pay more to have them printed locally if it cost me more money. At least I will not be supporting a corporate big box store and I will have them in my hands far sooner. This is the last time I will ever use Staples for my printing needs. They have blown it with me.
