A "professional, reliable and trustworthy " moving business would not break the legs off your couches to get them through the door. They also would not scrape up all the walls and steps on both stairways. Instead of removing the handrails, they simply smashed the handrails into the wall to move a refrigerator (only 4 years old, which the broke) a freezer, dressers, and a bed. We had zero issues with mice but with them leaving the doorways open for hours, our house became infested. A professional company would not go through sealed boxes and steal items from them. We've never found out Direct TV equipment and the CD player from the living room. They also should have reliable vehicles that don't break down so the moving truck had to be towed, and the next day, unloaded into another truck. I gave them the only key to one of my storage units and they lost it. They quoted us 2400.00 but 2/3 of the way through the work when confronted about the sealed box that was mysteriously opened and spread out on out bed with missing items, they changed the bill to 3200.00 and quit, leaving us, two disabled people, to find for ourselves. A professional moving company would not slide VCRs don their truck ramp, nor would they throw Christmas wreaths out the back of their truck to hit the ground and destroy them. The professional band of foster kids would not take instruction on where to group items like Christmas decorations which ended up spread throughout the garage. Also, clearly marked items for the house were mixed into the garage, and garage items were placed in the house. So if you wish to have a nightmare moving experience, I highly recommend them.

05/15/2021 Update: We used them again! The team of Frank (he was the foreman for our earlier move…read moretoo--see below), Carlos, Freddy, Elijah H., Eli, and Dylan were absolutely amazing. They were extremely careful with both homes, wrapping the door frames with padding and rolling out protective mats so as not to damage the floors while walking back and forth. We had a pretty complicated move in my opinion. We were moving out of my mothers house into our own house, while subsequently moving my mother's furniture which we had put in a storage unit back into her house. Speedy provided 2 trucks, two of the guys came all the way from tri-cities! Truck/Team 1 worked on emptying my storage unit with my stuff from (kitchen, bathrooms, etc from my previous home) and loading it, Truck 2 worked on emptying my moms storage unit of furniture she had removed from her home to make space for my family. Truck 1 went directly to the new house, while Truck 2 went to my mother's house, and unloaded her furniture and put it where she asked, and then loaded all our stuff and furniture. We had my mom's big (not kid proof) couches moving out of the truck back into my moms house, and my (kid proof) couches being moved into the truck as well as my husbands office, my sewing studio, kids play room, and kids bedroom. (My moms house is big and yeah it held all that stuff!) Then they took Truck 2 over to our new house as Truck 1 was being finished and Truck 1 team then began helping Truck 2 team unload the rest. It was a LOT of work for them. They were exhausted but they all had amazing attitudes and were very careful with our stuff even at the end when they were covered in sweat and it had started to get hot outside. I am one of those people that has a hard time not working and lifting when I see others doing it and they kept telling me to take it easy. I appreciated all their hard work and if we have to move again (which we may) I will hire them a third time! :) 9/8/2020: This was a great team of movers lead by Frank for a very reasonable price. They were all young, energetic, and professional. We had two move locations, storage and our new home. I was coming from California so it was unloading a SEMI truck (independent interstate trucker hired by Magellan), that unfortunately did not have a ramp or a lift gate. I did not realize the truck had none of these things, so the guys had to physically lift everything out of the truck itself instead of use dollys. It was exhausting work, but they did it with a great attitude. They lifted my husbands big MOTORCYCLE out of the back of this truck. A motorcycle. I don't know what other movers would have done that!!!! Anybody else would have gone to get a ramp and charged me hourly for it. Not them, they together lifted the motorcycle out of the truck and set it down. It was amazing. I highly recommend them and will use them for every move!

Every time I called asking for ETA they gave different excuses saying they would arrive soon. No apology, no accountability. - On day of drop off, they promised they would be there between 9-10AM. They showed up at 3:22PM. They stopped taking our calls and even hung up on a few attempts. - No moving truck. They had a detachable trailer hooked up to a pickup. Just a few furniture blankets and that was all the equipment they had. No other items to protect furniture. Many boxes arrived damaged and partially opened. - Actual movers were friendly and worked fast. But they were independent contractors hired for this single move. - They charged upfront for the move which is highly unusual and didn't have any insurance papers to sign until the very end of the move. - Overall they are unprofessional and unprepared to handle the services they advertise. Save your money and do it yourself. That would have been easier than all the problems they caused.

My overall satisfaction with the moving company's timeliness, courtesy, professionalism, and…read moreresponsiveness in all phases of my move from first contact through delivery, to include any follow up, was sub-par. OneRelo Worldwide: Spokane was the sub-sub-sub contracted agent of United Van Lines assigned to handle my move from Spokane to Seattle. Terri , the Relocation Coordinator assigned to military moves, was outstanding. I have nothing unpleasant to say about her communication, availability, and knowledge. I take issue with Jim, the experienced estimator, for not properly assessing my very large, very heavy, granite dining table. He did not deem it necessary to crate, which I believe directly correlated to the multitude of damage the table sustained. He also estimated 1 day for pack-up and load-out. It ended up being 2 full days. Steve and Larry were the 2 gentlemen assigned to pack and load-out my household goods. Steve seemed to be the Team Lead and Larry did his best. Both were pleasant and courteous, but it did strike me how seasoned they were. Everything just seemed to move a little slower than any moving team I've dealt with before. They each, separately, commented on how strange it was that the dining table wasn't getting crated. So they wrapped it in one moving blanket and wrestled it away. Day 1 they arrived at 1030 and departed, rather abruptly, at 3pm. Day 2 they arrived around 8am and stayed until ~4pm. At the end of the second day, they were both so tired/rushed to depart, that they left my loveseat and several other items in a bin, in the building's elevator. I had to call Steve (glad I had his cell #) and ask them to turn around and pick up the rest of my stuff. Prior to delivery, I reached out to Terri to ENSURE that more than 2 older gentlemen were assigned to deliver and unpack. Steve returned and OneRelo did coordinate to have 2 younger guys help move everything. BUT. They had to pay for street parking (local help) and that created their own, self-imposed, 2hr time limit. Steve stayed downstairs at the truck to unload and direct, while the 2 younger guys hustled back and forth. One of the local guys was immensely rude: he'd bring items in, bark "WHERE?!?" and then drop it. He also would not pass me the Item Number, so I had to find that afterwards. Steve released the younger gentlemen after paying them cash, and then proceeded to do the full rebuild & unpack himself. He said he was obligated to unpack boxes, not find a place for everything, so multiple boxes worth of stuff got piled up on the guest bed. He was in such a rush that he stripped furniture screws and even tried to fix the bookshelf backing that got torn off without asking first. Then he was upset that I claimed that damage on delivery. Steve was at our apartment until well past 5pm and we were genuinely concerned for his health - having seen him work right through lunch and barely have anything to drink all day. The services provided at our destination, such as the care, courtesy, attitude of the crew, unloading, and unpacking, were unsatisfactory. This is the first move where items were genuinely lost. 3 bed slats on the guest bed never made it from Spokane. And after excavating the pile o' stuff on the guest bed, I identified that an art piece was also missing (no doubt at the bottom of a wardrobe box that Steve missed in his haste). I will also say that everything was handled with a carelessness that I have never seen before. Very few items were genuinely broken, but most of our items were damaged. The packing and the unpacking were helter-skelter and reckless.

From start to finish, their professionalism and attention to detail were unmatched. They started by coming out to do a personalized estimate, which made us feel confident and prepared for moving day. On the day of the move, the team disassembled, moved, and reassembled all of our furniture with incredible care. They meticulously wrapped and padded every delicate item, including our TVs, decor, and large furniture pieces. We even had an entire home gym, which they efficiently packed, transported, and reassembled without a single issue. Every mover was respectful, courteous, and hardworking, and when the day ran long, the owners themselves came out to lend a hand.. a true sign of strong leadership and commitment to their customers. It's rare to see that kind of dedication anymore, and it really stood out to us. Their pricing was extremely fair, and for the quality and thoroughness of their work, it was worth every penny. They even offered a veteran discount, which was such a thoughtful gesture and greatly appreciated. I would recommend Blue Mountain Movers to anyone looking for a reliable, honest, and detail-oriented moving company. They made what could have been a stressful day completely seamless. If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would!

They increased that amount after the fact and without my consent and then changed the quote to match. They would not admit their mistake and said it was the original quote all along. I'm SO glad I had screen prints and had performed the math myself for the fees, or they would have continued to try and 'convince' me I just didn't understand. I hope this is just a cover for their mistake and not a more nefarious reason for the change of amounts and upping the quote to match. Not ethical and would recommend you double check all quotes and get comparisons. Really put me in a bind since we had to cancel at the last moment. We all make mistakes. The ethics is admitting those mistakes and not pretending they didn't happen or that someone is just 'confused'. I would recommend getting simple quotes instead and dealing with business teams that put ethics over profit. We agreed to cancel and they did refund my fees in the end.
