The Niles, IL location on Dempster St. They tell you they cancelled, yet they just take your card off the acct, dont get any bills so think they actually did their job, but then we get a collections notice. We literally gave the phone back to them and they told us it was cancellled. Collections told us to call the store that we were at, but the girl who answered the phone said they cant help and need to call corp. Did not care about what happened while we were in the store, just wanted to get off the phone. Terrible employees there. read more

Then they lost my account info and locked the SIM snd horrible customer service., so I have a useless phone I can't use from T-Mobile. I called this store a few days and talked to Cassandra. I needed advice about what needed to be done before upgrading a Samsung and an iPhone. She was very patient and friendly and told me what my options were for both phones. After doing that, I called the store to schedule a time to go in to trade the phones in. Unfortunately Cassandra said she was busy that day but that anyone there could help me. I went in and worked with Nick who was also very helpful, friendly, and patient. Long story not so short, I had to call customer service to handle part of the transaction. I left the store and called customer service. After being on the phone and talking to several agents, I went back to the store 15 minutes before they closed and instead of being annoyed, Nick was extremely helpful and efficient. I was promised a warranty replacement phone & received notice indicating replacement was ready for pick-up. on 3/24/22, there was some confusion about activation of replacement & scrubbing deflective phone being replaced I did not have a password for the bad-phone and indicated I would come back the next day with the password. (3/25/22, I returned to store & met Claudia who without any remorse said I was not getting any replacement phone. Claudia Rivera seemed not willing to provide any form of good customer service. Claudia said she was a Manger & she did not approve the transaction. If she really is a Manager, she should act accordingly & be responsible for other store employee actions. Mike at the store said I qualified for a replacement phone. He processed the request Claudia was not apologetic & did not offer any remedy about my bad phone. I was awe-stuck by Claudia's cold & insensitive character. I left the store & and called T-Mobile Customer Service. Talked to Craig who confirmed I was entitled to a replacement phone. Craig called T-Mobile at 5710 Touhy and then instructed me to return to the store to get my replacement. I called store same day, 3/25/22 and was told to come over pick-up replacement phone. I returned, met KaSandra, who identified herself as the Manager. KaSandra could not process the replacement transaction for an unknown reason. KaSandra asked me to come back the next day, 3/26/22, and promised to email me when the error was corrected, The next day, 3/26/22 I received 2 emails from T-Mobile that I did not generate. 1st email indicated I cancelled my replacement order. 2nd email indicated I requested a new replacement order with phone being shipped to my home. I believed the store had obviously made some mistakes and was using my name & email to correct their mistakes. Few minutes later, KaSandra sent me an email indicated the "Support Team" had cancelled my order & made a new replacement order to have phone sent directly to my house. T-Mobile emails indicate I had made the requests to cancel and reorder. ( not as KaSandra described). No one is home during the day & I wanted a replacement phone as soon as possible. KaSandra, in her email, said she returned the phone & was leaving the business. I emailed back & requested phone be delivered to my work. Nick Torres & Claudia Rivera were copied on that email. Not one of the three store employees responded to my simple request for an address change. I crossed my fingers & hoped I could get my phone on Monday 3/28/22. Had no phone at home to call Customer Svc. to change the delivery. I have not had use of a personal phone for over 2- weeks & certainly did not have the replacement phone that was promised because KaSandra returned it the original shipping location. Sunday 3/27/22 I returned to the T-Mobile Store on Touhy for the 4th time in 4-days. Claudia greeted me & I requested in person that delivery address be changed. I mentioned to Claudia the changes were made without my authorization. Claudia corrected me & said that KaSandra would not have done that. Claudia was basically calling me a liar. Another female employee chimed-in & said KaSandra tried to call me about the changes. This made no sense, I indicated KaSandra knew I had no access to a phone & that was the reason for email correspondence. No one offered to help me with an address change for the delivery. Claudia told to change the address once I get the UPS tracking number. This was not possible because T-Mobile restricts changes to the delivery address. In summary, I was lied to several times. Claudia & another male employee provided poor customer service. The man I met on 3/24 started to process my replacement transaction and in the process made some contradictory statements about the replacement phone and scrubbing the defective phone. Rick Torres was present but did not assist in the matter of processing my replacement. it was late in the day and I was frustrated. I said I would return. I wanted to leave the store on 3/24 with replacement phone & a plan to get it running in a functional manner. Did not know Claudia prior to 3/25/22 but she definitely seemed to have some sort of grudge against me. I brought my defective phone to the store about 3-weeks prior to 3/27/22. My account clearly indicates defective phone is not a year old. A replacement should have been provided some time ago. I am a senior citizen. Rules exist against defective contracts, deception & attempts take advantage of a senior citizen. T-Mobile is aware of my age every time they look at my license. I think they broke a few rules. read more

This is the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had. The employees have zero knowledge of the product. I came in several times because my phone was shutting off on its own. Even after they verified the issue, they said there is nothing they can do. One employee suggested a master reset. I said ok. I asked if I will lose my pics and videos, he said NO, it's backed up. I hesitated for a moment, and by then he reset my phone. After the reset, all my pics and videos were deleted and were not backed up anywhere. This idiot lost my son's first two years of his life and I will never get back. I was furious. All they said was sorry. How would you feel if this happened to you?? I will never recommend T-Mobile to anyone tell everyone I know the terrible experience I had with them. I can write about 20 more incidences, but this the worst and should suffice. read more

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. I came in to return my device because I had done the jump upgrade. A guy with glasses on he was tall and heafty. He didn't provide his name to us but he kept walking away from us and he would go and help other customers instead of us. I didn't feel welcomed at all. As he's doing the booting process he comes up to me saying he didn't know how to get a code from the device and to go to another Tmobile store after waiting for so long. When I walk out I notice that he gave me the phone on fast boot recovery mode. I went back and he didn't know how to fix it. I had to do everything myself and show him how to do it correctly. The woman who took care of me was really nice and helpful. She was patient too, I should have got her name (long hair). She helped me get a phone and went over the prices with me. She gave me an honest opinion on which one I should get and she didn't pressure me to buy the phone. We were able to resolve and get the phone that I liked mailed out to me through their online system because they didn't have the color I wanted in stock. It is actually cheaper as far as taxes when getting it shipped; maybe an online purchase. I give her 5 stars. read more

This review is only about this store service, was in area and stoped at this store for a screen protector, I had a 30% off coupon on my phone , girl there asked me if I only had this coupon in my phone only and after I said yes she tells me that this store only except printed coupon , I had an offer from tmobile via text and used it twice at another location, and after that store I stoped by one by my house and they scaned the coupon and gave me the discount . I came in the store because another location messed up my order and AB was so attentive, friendly and they even kept the store open late so that they could finish helping me. We got a new HUAWEI Ascend P6 phone for our daughter as a birthday gift. On her birthday we went to T-mobile store to add a new line and get a SIM card for her. We ended up with broken phone, because store representative pushed sim card's tray inside the phone in opposite direction, which caused physical damage of the slot. We spent more than 3 hours in the store, birthday party has been cancelled, lots of daughter's tears .....Two days later Store manager offered to sell me Samsung Avant 230$ with discount 150S, insisting that it is much better phone, than my Huawei for which I paid 209$. Now I realized that I still need to pay 80$+tax for Samsung and I already paid 209 for Huawei (which goes to trash bin) I compared HUAWEI vs Samsung Avant online and didn't find any option for Samsung which is better than Huawei. Looks like he just lied to me and I was stupid enough to trust. What should I do now, I can't return this Samsung because of 50$ restocking fee. It is hard to believe that much respectful company as T-mobile can treat customers this way.I asked if they can return me money (I have proof of price and delivery) and I leave the phone which they broke for them so they can fix it and sell. The answer was NO! And I am loyal T-mobile customer for more than 7 years, always using their most expensive plans. Staff in the store simply pretend that we do not exist, and Daniel was very arrogant and has not been helpful. read more
