T-mobile is fine, but this Craig Drive storefront is closed and emptied out. Closest store is now in Allen.

We had several visits to date and overall while there were some hiccups they seemed eager to help us. We will report back in a few months if everything went as planned and if they delivered on the promises. Only complaint, every time you enter the store you have to wait. Also the actual contract switchover appointment took 3 hours! That was crazy.

The story is too lengthy to detail here, but I spoke with three different support representatives over three days and received three different explanations as to why this issue was happening. On yesterday, I visited a TM store in a nearby city, but the experience there was subpar at best. Frustrated, I decided to try once more and went to the TM store in Allen, TX, today, 11/14/24. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by David. His calm demeanor and insightful questions put me at ease right away. He checked me in, took time to understand my situation, and started working on it immediately. After a bit, he asked a few more clarifying questions, made a call, and even suggested a few alternative solutions in case the main fix didn't work out. Ultimately, he got it done! David was outstanding! If you ever need to visit a TM store, the Allen location is the place to go if you're looking for a genuine, service-driven experience. Specifically, seek out David--he'll go above and beyond to help you. Thanks, David, you're the best! I also want to mention Robert, the Store Manager. After David successfully unlocked my phone, I asked to speak with Robert. He's just as genuine and welcoming, sharing with me that enhancing the customer experience is their main priority. Thank you, Robert, for leading the way! Ernie

I've had experience with many carriers over the years, and T-Mobile seems to be the least slimy…read more Yeah, they're all scum, but at least T-Mobile tries to break through. Reception in most cities is "adequate" to "great". Occasionally you will find a city that was overrun by another carrier and you have reception issues, but most of the time it's fine. T-Mobile seems to utilize cross-carrier roaming in those more difficult cities. You won't get great data speeds in those cases (as T-Mobile is essentially running as an MNVO), but it still works. In other cities, you will get mind blowing speeds. I'm talking about speeds that theoretically max out your device. I'm happy to say that is more the rule than the exception. With the 5G rollouts, not only are the speeds increasing, but the availability of data in a crowd is increasing too. What I personally like is that my T-Mobile plan has free data and texts when I'm traveling to other countries. With other carriers, that's an extra fee. This is WAY more convenient than getting an unlocked cell phone and finding a local SIM card for data in a foreign country. People at T-Mobile stores are generally well-qualified and trained, and helpful. Occasionally, you will find someone who attempts to add a hidden warranty to a new device sale, but even that is quickly and easily resolved by a call to T-Mobile's great customer service team. I've never had a bad experience with any T-Mobile representative on the phone, which is rare now a days.

Be VERY careful if you go to T-Mobile (Iron Horse)    7000 Independence Parkway, Plano, Texas…read more(store 472D). The salesperson did not tell us (the whole) truth. For $207.87 a month, we were told we could have a different plan, with new phones and watches. When our bills arrived, they were about $100 a month MORE than what we were told. This happened a few months ago - hopefully there have been some personnel changes! This is not really a T-Mobile store but an 'authorized' independent dealer (there's now a notice to that effect on the front door).  The folks on T-Mobile's billing department have done what they can to offset this misrepresentation, but clearly this business is not to be trusted.

My first experience with T-Mobile wasn't the best:…read more Unfortunately, I'm really disappointed with this T-Mobile store. I signed up in October 2024 for a family plan that was supposed to be 5 lines for the price of 3. Since then, I've been overcharged every month because the promotion was never honored -- I've been billed for all 5 lines. When I noticed the issue, I came back to the store. The staff admitted the promo wasn't applied correctly and even called T-Mobile support for me -- but nothing was fixed. Their only "solution" was to tell me to cancel the 5th line, but only after paying for a full year of service on it. Seriously? They also said I'd receive credit for the 5th line for that year, but that never happened. I've returned to the store three times to follow up -- each time I was promised a call back, and it never came with no resolution. I have to say that the staff (Rina and Daniel) was always nice, but unfortunately that didn't help at all with my problem. I'm not planning to go back, and I will connect directly with T-Mobile. Sadly, at the end I will lose a 5th line and pay for the fourth that was supposed to be free. If you're still considering signing up here, double-check everything -- especially if they're offering a promotion. Because once something goes wrong, you'll be on your own.
