I tried to upgrade to a Verizon phone and Verizon screwed it up in so many ways. they canceled it - flag it as fraud - tried to bill my credit card for the phone - suddenly I had two accounts - one in spanish - they flagged my account for fraud - told me that I could pay my bill in 5 days which I couldn't do then it made the phone outside of 30 days for return and demanded I pay full price for it and locked my credit card for 1100. when I bought the Verizon phone I kept it off forthe first two weeks due to the fact I had medical issues post surgery and a work place accident and I didn't terminate my other phone. I had to go 4 times for 10 hours total as customer service outside the store was the black hole of death - derrick spent hours on the phone as Verizon jerked him around in circles. The staff at this store is awesome. Verizon is not. The obviously offshore customer support is completely useless and many are just jack wagons reading from a script with zero ability to do anything but transfer your call to the next jack wagon. I am no longer a potential Verizon customer.

AT&T suggested that I go to a reputable cell phone repair place because they couldn't repair it in their store. I found The Fix as I was leaving the mall. Anton Taylor explained why the phone quit working and said it is typical of iPhones. He quoted me the price for the repair and explained after market versus Apple parts. I opted for after market parts knowing some features in my phone might not work. I didn't use those features anyway. My parts were ordered and within a week, my phone was working again. The customer service was great. The price I paid for repairs was MUCH better than buying a new phone. I did get a notification on my phone from Apple that non-Apple parts had been installed and the phone might not work properly. The phone lasted almost a good while before it started having issues and I decided to purchase a new one. After all, it did last me 5 years.

Stopped by on June 9, 2026, to get a replacement screen protector (XTR5) for my iPhone 17 Pro Max…read more Old one had come off mysteriously and cracked and was unsafe to carry, so I threw it away. I assumed I'd be able to get an in-warranty replacement for $9.99 because I purchased the old screen protector at this same store, and they'd have a record of my purchase. NOPE. They need the old screen protector and WILL DO NOTHING AT ALL if you don't have it. Which is crazy, because Zagg offers the same in-warranty replacement through their website without requiring the old product to be sent in. There are several employees at this store, each with a different outlook. Depending on which one is there, you'll get different results, which, of course, sucks. I have been able to get warranty replacements in the past without bringing in my old protector! The employee working on June 9th wouldn't do jack sh*t for me, he even told me to leave a negative review if I wanted! UPDATE: I went back on June 10, 2026, with my broken XTR5 screen protector and they sold me a replacement, and installed it, for $12+tax. Crazy thing is the in-warranty replacement cost is listed as $9.99 almost everywhere, so this store is pretty much just doing whatever they want. When I brought this up, they informed me they are a ZAGG FRANCHISE and don't have to follow the parent company's policies and prices. Which is jacked up. I only am dealing with them because I happen to think Zagg's products are high-quality, even if the store sucks, and I am unable to install the protectors myself due to a medical condition. A side note: there is NO INDICATION ANYWHERE (such as signage, placards, etc.) they are a franchise, which is pretty sketchy.
