They finally explained to me that Verizon does not take into consideration when pre-orders are made online that it may cause discrepancies in inventory. So in other words, what's on the shelf may have been already reserved for someone who had made an order online a few days ago. So the gentleman offered to cancel my order and redo it so that a phone could come in quicker. While he was doing this, he had gone over the phone plan that I had upgraded to and tried to say I needed to be on the top-tier phone plan which I did not want. I let him know the plan I had ordered is the exact same plan that I wanted. He saw me getting a little annoyed and then took back what he said and said, "no that's exactly what I said." No sir. He had to call a third-party to have my order canceled and he was extremely rude to the representative on the phone. He was not really rude to me, but the fact that he was rude to her, rubbed me the wrong way. So once he canceled my order, I left it at that did not place a new order with him and I walked out. Number one, customer service was awful number two, his rudeness just topped the cake for me. I did not want to deal with people like them nor want to give them the credit of my sale for the crap customer service and treatment of others that they give. I realize he may have to call a third-party to do some work for their business and that particular party may have been outsourced internationally so he may have had to deal with them on numerous occasions. When I explained that I did not currently have phone access, the staff offered no alternative solution other than to go to another location until I asked to use their phone. I then spent over two hours (2 hours and 13 minutes) on the phone with a Verizon representative while in the store, with very limited assistance from the staff. During my visit, I also observed another customer come in needing help, and the staff appeared to quickly find reasons they could not assist them either. I was later informed that this location is a third-party (indirect) Verizon retailer. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend visiting a corporate Verizon store for assistance, as the level of service may differ significantly.

I assumed I'd be able to get an in-warranty replacement for $9.99 because I purchased the old screen protector at this same store, and they'd have a record of my purchase. NOPE. They need the old screen protector and WILL DO NOTHING AT ALL if you don't have it. Which is crazy, because Zagg offers the same in-warranty replacement through their website without requiring the old product to be sent in. There are several employees at this store, each with a different outlook. Depending on which one is there, you'll get different results, which, of course, sucks. I have been able to get warranty replacements in the past without bringing in my old protector! The employee working on June 9th wouldn't do jack sh*t for me, he even told me to leave a negative review if I wanted! UPDATE: I went back on June 10, 2026, with my broken XTR5 screen protector and they sold me a replacement, and installed it, for $12+tax. Crazy thing is the in-warranty replacement cost is listed as $9.99 almost everywhere, so this store is pretty much just doing whatever they want. When I brought this up, they informed me they are a ZAGG FRANCHISE and don't have to follow the parent company's policies and prices. Which is jacked up. I only am dealing with them because I happen to think Zagg's products are high-quality, even if the store sucks, and I am unable to install the protectors myself due to a medical condition.
