Asurion is the worst. Without telling me they were going to do it, they charged a $50 cleaning fee. Yep, $50 to clean your phone when they repair it. What's more is I have insurance through Asurion, and they didn't even cover this repair. Why? I don't know, because after 5 months and a dozen emails, Asurion doesn't bother replying to their customers. read more

Great service, knowledgeable techs. Brought a new PC custom build in for troubleshooting. Diagnostics were free. Identified the problem and fixed everything free of charge (no actual broken parts). The tab of lightning cable snapped off in one of our iPads yesterday and I could not figure out how to get it out. I called the McKinney store and they said to come right in and they would look at the issue to see if it was an easy fix. The hardest part of the whole process was I forgot to GPS the directions. Once I got there I called and in short order someone was there to help. A few minutes later voila it was fixed. In this moment in time where everyone is stressed your team took the heat off and got us back up and running for "school" the next day. My phone was smashed in the middle of Custer Rd (it must have fallen off my van when I absentmindedly placed it there) and they fixed it - total miracle, they are God's helpers. Sadly this place was really shitty. We paid a deposit of $75 to get our phone fixed. It was the rear camera. They had to order the parts to we waited a week, they still hadn't come in. We called the next week, they still weren't in. We called the week after that and got told "Yeah the parts have been in for a while, we're waiting on you to come in." Hmmm maybe calling the customer and letting them know would help? So I go in to drop off the phone, and was told "We don't fix rear cameras here." WHAT?! So I've been waiting 3 weeks for parts that were never there, because you don't fix rear cameras when y'all said you did when you examined the phone? This place is a joke.. read more

Have been here twice for two different phones. Once for battery replacement and once for screen replacement. Both experiences were great. Dropped off and came back in an hour or so. Customer service is great and they know their stuff. Found a new spot for repairs and it's even easier with the insurance I have for the devices. read more

The dog knocked the phone out of my son's hands, cracking the screen. The damage insurance company directed us to the McKinney UBreakIFix location for repairs. We arrived a little more than an hour before closing. They were able to get us in and fix the phone before closing. Great job! read more

I drove an hour and a half to get my phone fixed. I was on time for my appointment and your office was closed and locked (at 1pm on a Wednesday). I even received an email confirming my appointment this morning. Even if there was an emergency you guys had my phone number and email. Why wasn't I notified? You completely wasted my time. I took my phone to trade in at AT&T but since it had a cracked screen that half way worked, they couldn't restore it so they recommended Asurion since it was around the corner. The guy told me to restore it he will plug it in to iTunes first and if that did not work he would temporarily hook up a new screen to it and the restore it and if so expected it to take a couple hours. I left and got a notification it was ready a 10-15 minutes later and when I came back to pick it up he told me he didn't have to change the screen and that he just had to plug it into itunes yet he still charged me and made me pay to get my phone back. I asked why I still had to pay twice and he straight up ignored the question and tried to redirect the conversation like I'm stupid. Dude charged me $54 to plug a phone into itunes and press a couple buttons what a joke. He knew he was being shady too because he avoided all eye contact as soon as he told me I actually did have to pay but could not for the life of him explain why. read more

Willie is no help. He made the process even longer. Originally takes 2 hours to fix. No problem I stayed around McKinney because I live more towards Plano frisco. He told me to come back at 5:45. But he totally forgot to tell me to sign out of my iCloud and turn find my iPhone off.... so I get back and nothing is done. Because he forgot. So I dropped it off at 3:45. I had to wait an extra hour for it to be done after I had to log out. So basically 3 hours later .... no one at the front desk. People would wait a while to even get greeted. read more

I cannot even describe how unimpressive this experience was. We went in in the evening and waited forever only to find out they did not have what was needed in stock despite it being and insurance repair on a common phone that they said over the phone they could fix in 2 hours. We came in the next day and waited almost 30 minutes as only one person was working the front and they spent 15 minutes with an elderly gentleman who needed help with a Sim card... The young man working could not tell the difference between the Sim and the SD and ended up breaking it so the old man just took his stuff and left... The next person it took 15 minutes to get them all checked in only to find out they did not have the part they needed to replace their screen. We are still waiting in line to get a screen repair, no idea if that's going to happen or not but what an embarrassment from a business management perspective. Halfway through the discussion their internet went down and he had to use his hotspot... Says it happens all the time. Everyone there, with a lobby full of people, was asked to give their passcode, their phone number, and their address with no thought or concern for confidentiality, safety or privacy. Buyer beware to say the least. read more
