I had an issue pairing my iPhone to my Apple Watch. The man at Mobile Kangaroo was able to assess and fix my issue without issue. I recommend this company for Apple technical support. read more

Their diagnostics approach needs work. Gave wrong diagnosis and apparently didn't have means to give proper one. Had to go to the brand store to get a more thorough diagnosis. It's ironic that thankfully they didn't have the part and was recommended to go to brand store to get that part that I didn't need which then manifested in a proper diagnosis of the problem. read more

Poor. Charged $75 to backup and restore phone to fix a location issue. Didn't work, then my search feature on calendar wasn't working. Wet back to get help. They could not find how to resolve that either. Offered a $600 repair to replace the main circuit board/hardware. NOPE! Went home and eventually found standard settings that corrected both issues. Was recommended by Apple! Very disappointed with both Apple and the recommended "licensed Apple Repair" business!! read more

Rapid service Keranan at Mobile Kangaroo was very attentive, he allowed me to tell him the issues with my iPhone. I wished that I could have spoken to him the day before. The Apple representative held me hostage (it felt as if I was a hostage), for an hour and the phone the day prior and my phone still was not working. The rep on the phone made an appointment to call me again the next day. I couldn't give up another second of my time to what I felt was a coworker at this point. He left me exhausted as if I worked for Apple. When I got off the phone with this guy my nerves were shocked. Thank God for Mobile Kangaroo. Keranan was extremely knowledgeable he fixed my phone very quick. Thank you keranan read more

Brought my iPad in for repair. I was told that the iPad was fried and the tech attempted to show me visible evidence that the iPad would never work again. I didn't see any burn marks but was assured the iPad was dead. I was then was asked a series of questions about the kind of cord or surge protector I used. Then it was suggested that I trade it in for another iPad Pro since it could not be repaired. Long story short, I drove half and hour away and two hours later my iPad was repaired and is fully functional. read more

When told that your only going to be charged a certain amount ($50.oo) to be exact and that being for deposit hold until New phone got delivered to store, which 1-2 business days is what he informed me usually takes , then once my new phone arrived , receive text alert ,be notified, & come back to store to pick up , & then pay the remaining amount, which also another issue being this guy said would approximately be around only $100.oo. Only to find out later this same following day ,as I opened my Banking App and see that charge was 3 x amount he told me. I am outraged right now. This is absolutely unacceptable. "Apple authorized Repair user" come on Apple ,just wow guys Y'all know how to hire such Great employees. Unbelievable read more

Dishonest liars. Made an appointment thru the Apple Store and they wanted to charge me $75 to run a diagnostic. When I asked if the Apple Store would charge me for a diagnostic if I just go there instead, the man with grey / purple hair and glasses said yes the Apple Store would charge me. I asked apple and they said they never charge for diagnostics. read more

The guy working got my screen fixed same day! Was a lot cheaper than buying a new phone. Really appreciate this place as the tech there was working hard. Difficult to find places with team members actually wanting to work and do a good job. Did a fantastic job on getting my phone fixed in a timely manner considering he was doing intake of new customers and repairs. Will recommend! read more

Mobile Kangaroo in Plano recently helped me with replacing the battery in my IPhone 11. I am not quite ready to change phones and replacing the battery will keep mine going for a while. The man who helped me was very knowledgeable and ran an analysis on the phone. all was in good shape except the battery. He was very helpful and showed me some helpful tips and features to help me monitor the phone's performance. The battery was about $100 and I am good to go for a while longer. read more

In the last year I have come here 3 times to repair various MacBooks for my family. Twice Dylan has replaced my screen (cracked due to a camera cover, and after it was bitten by a cat!!), both times we received the MacBook back as good as new and with a quick turn around (time is driven by how long it takes for parts to arrive and apple to give their ok). I returned last week to drop off my MacBook by with the butterfly keyboard that was sticking. Dylan took me as a walk in, explained the process. Then kept me up to date on progress through text messages. To my pleasant surprise it was ready next day!!! Great service. This is now my go to place for repairs read more

there was no communication, I had to keep calling and check, when I dropped my watch I was told someone will call in evening and inform what is plan, I called after 3 days to know that they are replacing, then replacement reached after 7 days, replacement delay can be on apple side but there was no communications from kangaroo. I would expect some kind of link or something , I never received and update from mobile kangaroo, just after 8-9 days directly that my replacement watch has arrived for pickup read more

My daughter was having trouble with her phone so took it to Verizon but after going back and forth for 3 day an them trying to figure it out they finally gave up and said I needed a new phone. I took it to Mobile Kangaroo -Plano and in less then 2 mins the young guy here was able to figure it out an fix it. He was also very polite and helpful. Thank you! read more

Very pleased with the service at this location. The Technician, Dylan, is very knowledgeable, competent, and communicates findings and recommendations via text message quickly. He successfully restored a MacBook Pro 2017 with a black screen issue within about 8 working hours, taking the time to answer questions and explain options on the phone. Pricing for some services such as data recovery are higher compared to other repair shops, but the diagnostic and system restore fees are reasonable. read more

Great helpful solved my iPad Pro problem so fast I couldn't believe it! They were so helpful over the phone as well. Thank you!

They charge more than best buy and the service doesnt make sense, i paid for a battery already paid for in advance and they said they couldnt wait one day for the service and had to return a replacement battery i already paid for, make it make sense. read more

The gentlemen was nice, but charged 35.00 for "diagnostic" then would call me with a repair quote. I took my IPhone 14 pro max in for repair because I dropped it and cracked the lens. He calls and tells me I need a whole new back cover replacement according to his diagnosis and apple. The cost would be $625.00. I elect to pick my phone up and just replace the phone. I go to AT&T to buy a new phone. They look at my phone and said there is nothing wrong with your phone, the Zagg glass shield is broken. The remove the glass shield from lens and my phone doesn't have a scratch on it. Luckily I chose to pick my phone up from this place instead of spending $625.00 on an unnecessay repair!!!!!!!!!! read more

I went to the shop for a battery replacement for my iPhone. They are quick, professional, and provide excellent customer service. They installed an original Apple battery, and the price was reasonable. I recommend this business. read more

If I could give one star I would. Went on Sunday to pick up AirPods and part of the AirPod is missing. So now one is intact while the one is missing a part. Dillion, who manages the establishment, wasn't working but was told he would respond accordingly. So $85 to fix my AirPods that now I can't even use and need to get replacements parts from Apple, I guess that's value and customer service. Would not recommend this place and can't even believe Apple would suggest this place to have repairs done. read more

I brought my Macbook Pro in today because the keyboard was exhibiting these three behaviors in addition to the fading letters: letters or characters repeat unexpectedly or do not appear + key(s) feel "sticky" or do not respond in a consistent manner. As backed by Apple's Keyboard Service Program, I didn't have to pay a dime (including the diagnostic fees). I was only expecting a keyboard replacement, but luckily it included the battery and touch bar replacement. The diagnostic process took an hour, the parts shipped overnight, and the replacements took about 3 hours the following day. My laptop feels brand new! They even cleaned my screen and dusted the interior as well. Thank you so much, Christian and Tyler! read more

Very disappointed in the service of my Apple iPhone. I came in my friend xhue sent me here and was not pleased. Hoping to get refund

This place is absolute garbage. Don't waste your time coming here. The employees are so stupid they couldn't even verify my appointment and were too stupid to even use my case ID to verify my appointment. It turns out the lady that I talked to had a list that was printed earlier in the morning.... unbelievable.... I can't believe Apple associates itself with literal SHITE like this company. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Not only did this location not fix my phone. They were so rude. I first when to the McKinney location he told me they didn't have loaner phones and that he would set me up 6 days later at the plano store and that they would have a loner phone to help me or the parts for my phone so it would be fixed that day. I get to my appointment and the man is super rude. Doesn't seem to even want to help me. Just points to the screen for me to check in doesn't even speak to me. So then I ask how long will it takes he says I don't know. I said ok? Well like a few hours. He said maybe 7 days or longer. I said ok i need a loner then. He says we don't have any. So wtf. I wasted my time twice and my phone still isn't working. Horrible company DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Tyler, the technician was outstanding. Our iMac would not boot (stopped at the Apple version of the blue screen of death) and unfortunately we did not have a recent backup of our data. Tyler spent the time to troubleshoot and research the issue and amazingly was able to get to a point where they were able to SAVE ALL THE DATA (Wow!!). Throughout this process, Tyler kept in CONSTANT communication with us on the current status. He was a joy to work with and very accomodating. Can't ask for much more. We are so thrilled to have our iMac AND data back. Would absolutely use them again. read more

I brought my laptop to Mobile Kangaroo (the Plano location). It's a little haul from Dallas but worth the drive. Was referred by Apple but I would bring all my Apple products here in the future. My laptop needed a new part and it was on backorder but Tyler and Christian kept me posted via emails and texts. Everything went smoothly and though it was a little delayed due to Apple's stock, I was kept in the loop. When I picked up my laptop, they told me that they noticed that my keyboard was recalled and they went ahead and replaced all the recalled parts which save me an extra trip. They also have all the proper process in place during this pandemic to protect the customers so I am very satisfied. Highly recommend these guys. read more

Be aware that the total cost of repair for MacBook may vary greatly compared to what Apple Store provides. Mobile Kangaroo was more than double of what Apple Store quoted ($199 at Apple Store .vs. $454 @ Mobile Kangaroo) to replace the battery in my MacBook. I paid $65 diagnostic fee up front ... Apple charges $0 for diagnostic. Mobile Kangaroo Customer Service responded "Our prices are independent of Apple store prices and we have to charge for parts and labor while Apple may not." Guy at the Frisco store was very helpful, but the price delta was excessive. read more

The screen on my MacBook randomly stopped working! I went through apple care to make an appointment and got in same day! I was able to pick my laptop up next day! They were amazing and great with communicating! read more

If I could give 0 I would give it we took our MacBook to get repaired in Plano and then it didn't work !!!! We took it in and they should be using the "90 day warranty" it has and are trying to charge us a fee for taking it back to fix something that should have been fixed in the first place !!!!! Very disappointed and upset!!! Choose to go to an Apple store if you can and use this as a very LAST resort if even need to be used read more

Apple referred me to them otherwise I would not have thought of coming to this place. I replaced my MacBook Pro battery here. Honest group of guys and will go above and beyond to help you. They charge $65 as a diagnostic fee, which is not something you would see at the Apple Genius Bar. However, they apply that amount towards your final bill. Their prices do not generally follow Apple's (Mobile Kangaroo are more expensive), but they worked with me to come close to Apple's price point. I left the store with my laptop battery replaced and when I reached home I found out that one of my USB ports was not working (power but no data). I called them back and they urged me to bring the laptop back, which I did. Carl helped me out with this and less than 5 minutes later I was out of there with a fully functional laptop and a brand new battery (turns out an NVRAM reset was all what was needed). Would come back again. read more
