Cell phone repair shops are really hit or miss; either they're great and save you money or they are a complete fraud. The owner of iPhone Repair Richardson is definitely worth coming to see. He saved me time, money, and headaches of getting a new phone. I dropped my phone into a carafe of water about three weeks ago while out to dinner in Austin. After leaving the restaurant, I immediately stopped at a cell phone repair shop in Austin. The man replaced my battery and my phone came back to life. Then yesterday, it stopped working again. As a last ditch effort before spending $800+ on a new iPhone, I decided to take my phone to iPhone Repair Richardson for a new screen. The owner was working and promptly told me that my phone may not be salvageable. He took the phone apart and showed me what the other shop had done compared to an untouched iPhone. He told me that the screen probably wasn't the problem and that it could be any number of other parts. I left the phone with him for 3-4 hours while I ran errands. On my return, he confirmed that my phone was not salvageable and showed me the parts that were damaged by the water and/or the previous repair work. We worked out a deal and he salvaged the screen from my phone and attached it to another iPhone; essentially saving me $600+. I cannot speak highly enough of this business. The owner has an innate sense of integrity and customer service that you just don't find often in Dallas. If your phone is misbehaving or abused, you should come see the folks here. I had issues with Apple's new two factor authentication which locked me out of my iPad and I was unable to use it or reboot it myself. I took it in and Jasmine was able to fix the issue while I waited! She also replaced a cracked screen on another iPad and I had her wipe that one clean so I could pass it on to my daughter. She also replaced the a cracked glass screen protector on my iPhone! The two things that impressed me most were one: how quickly they were able to get these tasks done, and two: the EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Jasmine was so pleasant, so helpful and knowledgeable. Bas was friendly and professional. He was also very patient because I took in some used iPhones I wanted to part with but I didn't have much of the information immediately handy. He worked on my broken screen while I did some research on my previous phones. He brought my iPhone all pretty and fixed along with screen protector. He purchased my previous phones at a fair price and I walked away happy with my phone screen fixed and rid of a couple of phones I no longer used. So after a crazy Saturday night, my iPhone 8 Plus screen was cracked. I desperately needed it fixed by Monday for work however no one was opened on Sundays. Very impressed with Rohan's work. He did an outstanding job and really worked to get me a good deal despite hidden problems, i didnt even know about with my iphone 5s. Very trustworthy person. In the time i sat in his store waiting for my screen to be fixed at least five customers came in and all commented on how good his work was and all were repeat customers or friends pf other customers who had inevitably dropped their iphone again and broke it. These guys are great. I had my screen repaired here late last week and it was completed as I waited. Once I had my phone for a few days I noticed that I had trouble hearing anyone speak unless it was on speaker. I took the phone back in and they adjusted the speaker for free. My iphone x was badly cracked. I could-not even use it. I went to apple and they quoted my $279 and have to wait for couple of days. I found this place on google. I called them and they provided me a quote which was cheaper and repair time was approx 25 min. I went there and they repaired my iphone within 20 minutes. I ended up leaving after waiting awhile. When I went to pick up my watch, he apologized and gave me a free case and gave my daughter a free iPhone charger.
