Absolutely disgusting, degrading, and unacceptable behavior from Bryan and his colleagues…read more
Bryan and his colleagues are genuinely some of the most disrespectful, unprofessional, and verbally abusive men I have ever encountered. What should have been a simple visit to get assistance with a SIM swap and a few account-related questions turned into one of the most humiliating and disturbing customer service experiences I have ever had.
I walked into this location with a female friend, expecting basic professionalism and assistance with my account. Instead, the moment Bryan realized there was no opportunity to upsell me or make a commission, his entire attitude changed. He essentially abandoned me to deal with customer service over the phone rather than making any meaningful effort to assist me.
While I was speaking with the representative on the phone, I asked Bryan for assistance with another issue. His response was shockingly disrespectful. He made comments such as "go kick rocks" and "my job is not to help you, it's to sell you something."
As someone with years of experience in retail management, I understand the importance of sales targets and commissions. However, I have never encountered an employee so comfortable openly admitting that he has no interest in assisting a paying customer unless there is something financially beneficial in it for him.
Unfortunately, the situation only escalated from there.
Bryan and his colleagues proceeded to direct sexually degrading slurs and misogynistic insults toward us, including calling us "skinny bitches." I cannot emphasize enough how disgusting and inappropriate it was to hear grown men use this language toward two female customers inside a professional establishment.
Not only were we subjected to derogatory and sexually demeaning remarks, but three grown men were raising their voices at two women over what began as a routine request for customer service. The entire interaction felt hostile, intimidating, and completely unnecessary.
When one of Bryan's colleagues inserted himself into the situation, I informed him that I had not asked for his input. Rather than attempting to de-escalate the situation or address the inappropriate remarks being made, the employees proceeded to kick us out of the store.
Let me make this clear: We entered this establishment seeking assistance with an account, and we left having been insulted, verbally harassed, and thrown out by the very employees who were supposed to help us.
The fact that multiple employees felt comfortable participating in this behavior raises serious concerns about the management and workplace culture at this location. How does a business allow employees to openly insult customers, use gender-based slurs, and engage in such hostile behavior without any apparent concern for the consequences?
This was not simply poor customer service or an employee having a bad day. In my experience, this was targeted verbal harassment, degrading treatment, and an appalling display of unprofessional conduct.
I am calling on corporate management to immediately investigate Bryan and every employee involved, preserve and review any available surveillance footage, and take appropriate disciplinary action, including serious consideration of termination.
An employee who tells customers to "go kick rocks," admits that his only responsibility is to sell them something, and participates in an interaction involving sexually degrading insults has no business representing a customer-facing organization.
I would also like to know whether this location's management is aware of how its employees speak to women and whether similar complaints have been raised before. No customer should have to wonder whether requesting help will result in being insulted, intimidated, or publicly humiliated.
I strongly urge anyone considering visiting this location to take their business elsewhere. Save yourself the disrespect and humiliation of dealing with employees who appear to have absolutely no regard for basic human decency, professionalism, or customer service.
I sincerely hope corporate leadership treats this complaint with the seriousness it deserves. Bryan and his colleagues should be held accountable for their conduct, and I expect this incident to be formally investigated rather than dismissed as a simple customer service disagreement.
No woman should walk into a store for a SIM swap and walk out having been called a "skinny bitch," subjected to sexually degrading language, and yelled at by three grown men. Absolutely disgraceful.
