I had an extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable experience at this T-Mobile Experience Store, largely due to an employee named Vanessa.
From the start, her attitude was rude and dismissive toward both me and my mother. When discussing add-ons like an iPad or Apple Watch, she made the comment "if you don't use it, you obviously don't have it," which came off condescending and unnecessary rather than helpful or informative.
What was more troubling was her behavior while actively on the sales floor. She openly made rude comments about other customers within earshot, including remarks about people's driving abilities and statements implying that older people shouldn't be allowed to drive. This was said casually, in front of customers, and created a very uncomfortable environment.
The most concerning issue is when I later returned to the store to inquire about a missing trade-in device and request an investigation, Vanessa claimed she did not know me, despite the fact that I clearly remember her, the outfit she was wearing, and the timeframe she was working when she personally assisted me during my trade-in visit. Her response felt evasive and dismissive, especially given the seriousness of the issue.
This is a corporate Experience Store, and the level of professionalism displayed was shocking. Between the disrespectful comments, lack of accountability, and dismissive handling of a legitimate concern, this experience fell far below what I expect from T-Mobile.
I strongly recommend management and corporate review employee conduct at this location, particularly regarding customer interactions, professionalism on the sales floor, and accountability with trade-ins.
I will be escalating this issue further, as this experience raises serious concerns about customer trust and internal handling of devices.
If anyone reading this, has trade-ins be thorough and do not make the same mistake. Rather just mail in your device. read more
