This is discouraging and should have never been allowed to occur. My shopping experience was ruined for the day and this week's schedule will suffer s blow. We were here for about 75 minutes (my wife had some questions that took about 15 minutes to answer). There were two Sales Persons (I'm using the term found on the receipts). The second man was very knowledgeable, but he was outside half the time. The seats are comfortable enough, but my son chose to stand the whole time. Both employees were friendly and casual. The hours are pretty good. Sun 11 a.m.-6 p.m.; Mon-Sat 10 a.m.-8 p.m. The parking lot is weird, and there are only about 10 spots. (On a side note, there are 4 lanes of traffic outside the store, and we got stalled heading home because my wife didn't move over enough.) The store was renovated months ago. My wife went here a few years ago and commented on the changes. The store is more spacious now, and there is less to view. (This is really a Victra store where new employees are trained. The training room was pointed out to us.) Our sales person did a great job overall, but he has only worked at the store for 3 months (he needed some help from the other man). He was also too pushy at times (our cable bill was suddenly asked about, and it kind of annoyed me). I was ready for pitches to be made, and so I quickly said no to a package that was mentioned (my wife thought that I was rude in that moment, but not having our time wasted was one of my top priorities). The first 10 minutes were awkward. It largely had to do with my wife's phone needing to be upgraded (a text with a link that quickly expired had to be sent 4 times). I give our sales person credit for how he handled things. Paying right away saved me some money. I also saved some money by not placing an order online. Instead of $120 for the phone (a TCL FLIP Pro), I was charged $100 (why I was given a second discount is hard to explain). I was also charged $29.99 for Set Up and Go Service (outside of a store, the activation fee is $35). With tax, my total was only $142.89. They disconnected the wrong SIM card instead of the one on my old phone which I lost. He quoted me an estimate on their website of $99-$149, and about 90-min repair time. I scheduled an appt, and it covered a 2-hour time slot. This place is easy to find, it's in a shopping plaza at Doolittle Drive & Marina Blvd. There's two special parking spots just for customers of Cellular City. James is very professional and easy to deal with. There's no pushy suggestive selling or unwanted services. Battery replacement was $100, no added fees. All done in under 2 hours. James gave me a few tips on how to prolong battery life. My phone runs fine now.

This error occurred while I was en route to a colleague's 30-year retirement celebration, leaving me without service. After returning home to connect to Wi-Fi and speaking with customer service a second time, the representative confirmed the mistake and recommended that I visit a local AT&T store for assistance. I called the San Leandro store around 7:00 PM to inquire about wait times and was advised that no appointment was necessary. Upon arrival, Ms. Christina Weng assisted me immediately. She demonstrated exceptional knowledge, professionalism, and efficiency, resolving the issue and restoring service to both phones in less than 20 minutes. Her outstanding support completely turned around a very frustrating experience. Ms. Weng truly deserves high recognition--potentially a raise--for her excellent performance. The guy that was helping me was Ramon, he told me that he would be able to help, then asked for my phone number however, the account on my cell phone is not under my name. He said that he would not be able to help me. I told him the internet is under my name that it has nothing to do with the cellular account and he said he can't help me because my cellular is not the same name as my internet. I told him many times that has nothing to do with the internet which he replied, "Do you know how many years I've been working here". I left before he could say anything else. Now you are telling me that he was going to be able to give my personal PIN number to someone else whose name is NOT in the account, but he can't give the number to me? That is really a BIG CONCERN for the security of my account! Also I want to add that the security guy there was really nice and polite.
